Honkai: Star Rail Final Beta End Time

The last beta for Honkai: Star Rail lasted for two weeks, but there have been no announcements regarding when the beta will end.  Therefore, we anticipate it will go on for at least two weeks, with the earliest end date being an unconfirmed Friday, February 24th. When the official end date of the beta period is announced, we will post it here.

Honkai: Star Rail: How to Access Final Beta Version

There is still time to join the Honkai: Star Rail beta, despite the fact that the primary entry point has closed. There will be future chances to participate in the beta, so don’t worry if you weren’t selected.

Those who were selected to participate in the beta have begun receiving emails with information about the beta’s release date, the platforms that will be supported, and the server they should use.

This might be a PC, iOS, or Android device, depending on your permissions. When the beta is available, follow the link in the email to find out what features you have access to.

There are still opportunities to participate in the last Honkai: Star Rail beta, even if you weren’t selected or couldn’t join at the start. If you were too late to join up for the beta, your best bet is to take part in Twitch Drops.

Rockstar prioritises the creation of Grand Theft Auto 6, but this is delaying the release of sequels to its other intellectual properties, such as Bully.

Rockstar has decided to focus on developing Grand Theft Auto 6 above all else. Although fans are looking forward to the next film in the series, their excitement has come at a price, as other planned sequels, such as Bully 2, have been scrapped.

By looking at the games that Rockstar Games has released, it’s clear that the company has focused on just two major series: Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption 3 release.

When comparing these two series, it is clear that Rockstar has prioritised Grand Theft Auto. Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in 2018, and it has gotten rave reviews for its superb storytelling and detailed Western open environment. Red Dead Online, an online component developed by Rockstar, was released as a Western analogue to GTA Online.

Even still, loyal players claim that Rockstar didn’t give Red Dead Online a fair shake by releasing so few patches and ultimately shelving the game in 2022.

Rockstar Released A Greater Variety Of Games Before GTA 5

Bully’s gameplay is similar to that of classic Grand Theft Auto games, but instead of weapons and explosives, he uses slingshots and stinks bombs. Bully 2 was confirmed to be cancelled by former Rockstar devs, who also revealed some of the game’s features, such as character systems that would have expanded on the social rivalry of the original game and a hopefully more expansive scope to compete with GTA.

Rockstar’s Series Other Than GTA Can Benefit From New Technology

Rockstar could take full advantage of the advances in technology across its numerous IPs, two console generations in the making since the PS3 and Xbox 360 era when the studio’s portfolio diversification appeared to end.

What we know about Bully 2’s character systems suggests that, with the help of modern development techniques, the game could have provided significantly more engaging interactions with NPCs powered by artificial intelligence.

Considering how integral the dynamics of the many cliques were to the Bully plot and gameplay, this would have been an obvious next step.

In an interview with IGN, Strauss Zelnick dismissed concerns that the leaks would harm GTA 6’s commercial prospects.

We take leaks very seriously indeed and they disappoint all of us, it’s really frustrating and upsetting to the team. However, as a business matter, we’re not affected. But as a personal matter and an emotional matter, our teams are affected.

As a result, we can assume that the schedule for creating GTA 6 has not changed.

It’s a Good Sign

According to Zelnick, Grand Theft Auto 6 is progressing well in development and may be available for purchase sooner than expected. The September 2022 leaked film seems rudimentary and underdeveloped, suggesting it was taken from a very early build. Since the game hasn’t been delayed from its original release date, we can safely presume this.

Perhaps the leaks would have had more of an effect on the development of the game if the footage had been taken from a more recent build. There are exceptions, but if the game is still on the time it’s conceivable the film was from a long time ago.

As it was, the footage did not sit well with all audience members due to its unpolished appearance (which makes sense, since the game is still in production). Although the early footage was rough around the edges, it’s encouraging to know that the leaks haven’t slowed down the game’s progress.

While the exact development level of the shown footage is unknown, it is safe to assume that Grand Theft Auto 6 is further advanced than it initially appears in the light of Zelnick’s comments.

Purchasing Extra Time

But the way Zelnick phrased his statement could buy the Rockstar team some extra time if they need it. Zelnick can claim that the leaks caused the Rockstar crew to be upset and affected them if the day comes when they need to change the GTA 6 internal schedule.

This is a roundabout approach to gaining investors’ patience before making a formal announcement. Since Take-Two is a publicly listed corporation, Rockstar is likely seeking to appease its investors by keeping the development and release dates of their games on track.

According to a Bloomberg article from late last year, players can choose between Lucia and a male protagonist named Jason in GTA VI. The story also claims that the pair takes inspiration from Bonnie and Clyde, the notorious bank robbers.

Google Is Developing Its Own Chat Application

On Monday, Google introduced a new chatbot tool called Bard, seemingly in response to the widespread acclaim for ChatGPT.

Bard will be released to trusted testers on Monday, as announced by Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai in a blog post, with intentions to release it to the public in the following weeks.

Bard is based on a sizable language model, much like ChatGPT, which was made available to the public by the AI research organization OpenAI at the end of November. To develop appealing responses to user cues, these models are trained on large troves of data available online.

“Bard seeks to combine the breadth of the world’s knowledge with the power, intelligence, and creativity of our large language models,” Pichai wrote. “It draws on information from the web to provide fresh, high-quality responses.”

There is widespread agreement that Google’s core product, online search, is currently facing its greatest threat in years, thus the timing of the announcement is fortuitous. In the two months after its public debut, ChatGPT has been used to generate essays, stories, and song lyrics, as well as provide answers to some questions that would have previously been asked of Google.

Reportedly, Google’s management has declared a code red scenario for its search company due to the massive attention on ChatGPT. Gmail co-creator Paul Buchheit tweeted last year that the company may be only a year or two away from catastrophic destruction from artificial intelligence.

With the release of Doomfist’s One-Punch Man skin, Season 3 of Overwatch will offer the game’s first intellectual property cooperation alongside an Asian Mythology theme, a new Antarctica Control map, and a Valentine’s Day-themed browser-based Overwatch Dating Simulator.

As was previously mentioned, Asian mythology will serve as the overarching subject for Season 3. The Premium Battle Pass features Overwatch’s most unique skins to date, and completing it will get players access to the Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic skin, inspired by several deities from Japanese mythology with customizations you may mix and match themed for the moon, the sea, and storms. Additionally, Kiriko’s spirit fox receives a makeover along with the skin.

Season 3 of Overwatch 2 will be significantly more rewarding for regular players, so that’s good news all around. The free Battle Pass track will bring 10 new tiers and 1,500 credits to unlock, while the premium track will add 10 new tiers and 500 credits.

A Hanzo 4v4 Limited Time Mode, Support-themed tasks, two epic skins, and other goodies will be introduced as part of the Ultimate Valentine event, which will also include the Loverwatch Dating Sim.

Players of the non-canon dating sim Loverwatch will have the option of pursuing a romantic relationship with either Mercy or Genji. A Cupid that looks suspiciously like Hanzo will help you out, and there will be various speech paths from which to choose.

If you find the hidden resolution, you’ll be rewarded with a special spotlight for your Play of the Game. From February 13-28, you can check out Loverwatch at this link; the experience shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to finish.

Season 2 of Overwatch has begun, and with it comes Blizzard’s most extensive set of modifications to the game since its initial release. Before the new season goes live, the corporation has posted the launch patch notes, so let’s check those out.

I’ve left off the complete patch notes because they’re too long for this post (they clock in at over 3,000 words). There’s a lot to cover, so I’ll be dividing it up into multiple posts.

We already know about the new map, the return of the Workshop, the addition of new safety tools (including a streamer mode), adjustments to matchmaking and Competitive mode, and the reintroduction of earnable Credits, so I won’t go into them here.

• Every hero in the tank position will have less health in game modes without a role queue. In any game that supports Role Queue, the health totals for tanks will not change.

This adjustment to tank HP pools is made to balance the hero class in scenarios where many tanks are allowed on each team.

The thought of an Ultimate ability that might theoretically last forever is appealing, but in practice, if it’s too easy to accomplish, it leads to a lot of frustrations and, in the case of Ramattra’s Ultimate, an excess of visual noise, as explained by the game’s developers. We’re capping it at 20 seconds, which is still significant for most team battles but ensures it’ll wrap up in a timely fashion.

• The Charge base health in all other game variants has been lowered from 325 to 175.

Due to the high difficulty and high risk associated with using Charge Pins, we see no need to change the status quo and make it less deadly to many characters. It is true that the damage boost to Fire Strike means it can once again one-shot when coupled with Baptiste’s Amplification Matrix, but this needs an Ultimate combo with another hero. We’ll watch the situation unfold and make changes as needed.

Although it may seem like a weakness, Reinhardt’s Rocket Hammer has been nerfed such that he no longer mistakenly knocks foes out of melee range.

In order to give players more leeway in how they use the Whole Hog Ultimate, we’ve extended its maximum duration by a few seconds; nevertheless, we’ll continue to keep an eye on whether or not the attack’s knockback and damage are too high.

As one of the most effective solo tanks in early testing, Wrecking Ball saw relatively minimal adjustments in the shift to 5v5. A lot more than other heroes, he has a lot more leeway in deciding when to engage in combat thanks to his high mobility and large health pool.

With her rapid rate of fire, even a slight increment per shot rapidly mounts up. The health pack recharge time has been somewhat increased so that you won’t have to re-hack them as often.

Due to fears that the increased power of tanks might render Widowmaker too vulnerable to them, the development team briefly tried out a version of the champion with 200 health. Since she benefits more from 5v5 than she loses, we’re lowering her health back to 175 so that more heroes may challenge her deadly ranged attacks.
