Each player in a Tera raid only has three opportunities to use their unique cheer ability. There can only be a total of 12 uses of the cheer ability in a raid, due to the fact that each raid team consists of four players. We have three distinct types of cheers: “Go all out!” which increases the team’s attack and special attack, “Hang tough!”, which increases the team’s defense and special defense, and “Heal up!”, which restores a good amount of health to everyone on the team.

As the timer nears zero, your team will be evicted from the Tera raid boss’ lair, forcing you to engage in a constant game of cat and mouse with the boss’ stats and defenses. While certain Pokémon, using moves like Heal Pulse, can also heal allies during these battles, “Heal up!” is your primary healing strategy in raids, and its team-wide effect can buy everyone an extra turn or two before they’re in danger again.

The raid monsters in Tera have the potential to occasionally remove all stat buffs, which leads to a tug-of-war dependent on statistics. Therefore, the benefits of “Go all out!” and “Hang tough!” are temporary and can only be used once.

Given that Tera raids are built around “soft resets” and reapplying those benefits, it would be unfair to single out a single player for a round of applause. Each player may only utilize the cheering ability three times during the whole fight, therefore a team of four must coordinate to take turns cheering. Rather than three of each cheer, that’s just three cheers total.

The Equivalent of Time in Terms of Monetary Value

To date, this has been my greatest challenge when attempting to form an online raiding team of any significant size. Even if my Pokémon of choice is doing the most damage to the group, I always end up with three individuals refusing to switch from their attack menu to the cheer one, which leaves me with the support role unless I’m on a Discord call with buddies.

Since the boss’s defenses get stronger as a raid goes on, I often have to stop attacking and pump all three of my cheers into healing at once just to keep my friends alive, especially if they are unwilling to do so themselves.

It’s not just inefficient to use up someone’s turn time with cheering, but it also wastes resources. Even though it’s crucial to coordinate assaults and have a balanced squad during a Tera raid, the most crucial factor in ensuring victory is making the most of the little amount of time you have.

When an ally is killed in combat, significant time is subtracted from the raid’s total, and if a single healer is responsible for everyone’s health, they have only three healing uses and cooldowns to work with.

The raid boss’s tremendous strikes during these pauses between healing turns can (and will) quickly snowball into a team member passing out, resulting in a time penalty and the loss of several valuable seconds while the player respawns.

In order to prevent a domino effect of failures, savvy teams must constantly monitor the status of all participants and provide necessary support where needed. If the task of healing is shared amongst the combatants, it can be performed more quickly and consistently. The cooldown issue can be avoided and optimal cheer timing can be achieved throughout the raid if everyone pitches in to provide cheers at appropriate intervals.

However, in a Tera raid, every second counts, thus optimizing your use of time is crucial to your team’s success. Instead of risking injury or wasting time trying to figure out why my Pokémon is befuddled, I’ve begun to use a cheer or two during those moments. By preventing my Pokémon from taking damage, I’ve been able to swing the tide of battles in my favor by using the time they would have spent healing instead.

It’s easy to imagine dozens of trolls rushing about in League skins, hopping from corner to corner in Call of Duty because it’s not Destiny or World of Warcraft. Worry not, though; Modern Warfare 2 features a brand-new option called Raid, which is a three-player mission that doesn’t rely on matching.

Most people should be able to complete these tasks quickly and enter the raid. Well, then what do you do? The Season 01 Reloaded update explains that the raid is an “exciting mix of action and riddles for three-person teams to explore.” Also, it fits into the overarching storyline of the MWII propaganda operation. Given that this is “Episode 1” in the raid series, it’s safe to assume that there will be more.

The events of the story take place after the conclusion of the campaign in Modern Warfare 2. Which, if you ask me, is not a bad thing at all. Although I was so bored with Modern Warfare II’s beginning that I considered playing Haze as a “palate cleanser,” the game picked up considerably in the second half. Perhaps our buddy Ghost will even treat us to some more seductive hushed conversations.

Although I find the mandatory preparation and matchmaking for raids to be a nuisance, I do enjoy raiding in games like Destiny and see potential in the concept. Let’s give CoD a shot because it has the potential for satisfyingly crunchy gameplay elements.

The Second Warzone Cup

Although I have never wished for more sports to be included in my video games, I am aware that many people are interested in the current worldwide obsession with soccer. Call of Duty has a special mode available for a limited time that includes a large soccer ball, a standard-sized field, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and shock sticks to satisfy your Sportsball cravings. Whoever scores five goals first wins.

To be quite forthright, I think you would be better served by playing Rocket League or some bizarre Halo mod instead. While I admire the intention, my early playtesting has shown that this mode is a bit too weird. From December 14th to the 23rd, the Warzone World Cup will be held.

You’ll find more self-resurrects, gas masks, field upgrades, plate carriers, backpacks, and significantly fewer electronic components and toothpaste in DMZ now, however, no mention is made of addressing the telepathic AI’s ability to shoot you through fucking walls. Sorry about your teeth.

Players that are eliminated now have the option of appealing for help from an opposing side and joining them. I haven’t checked it out just yet, but it seems more like an offer of assistance than anything else. However, it can be extremely annoying when an opposing operator team eliminates you, even though you had no intention of messing them up. At least now you have a better opportunity to get back in.

A random perk, such as Scavenger, may now be awarded upon a successful exfiltration. Exiting successfully will increase in value with each consecutive exit.
