When is the Online Beta Test?

The online beta test for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising will run from July 27 to July 30 (PT), according to Cygames and Arc System Works. Pre-access beta testing will take place on July 26 and 27 and will only be limited to a restricted set of applicants; open beta testing will take place on July 28 and 30 and will be available to all users.

Register on the official website before July 16 (PT) to apply for the pre-access beta test. You will need a PlayStation Network account and a Granblue Fantasy account to participate. The online beta test will let players try out the game’s online modes, such as Ranked Match, Casual Match, Lobby Match, and Room Match.

Players can also customize their characters with different colors and weapons. The beta test will feature all the characters from Granblue Fantasy: Versus and the new ones from Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising.

How to Join the EVO 2023 Open Beta Tournament?

Cygames has also announced that there will be an open beta tournament for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising at EVO 2023 in Las Vegas from August 4 to August 5 (PT). The contest will be available to all players registered on the official website before August 2 (PT). The game will use a double-elimination bracket format with best-of-three matches.

The top four matches will be best-of-five. The tournament will allow players to showcase their skills and compete with other game fans. The match will also be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube for viewers to watch and enjoy.

Smart Compose is available for English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese messages. You must turn on intelligent features and controls in your Google account settings to use it. This will allow Google to use your data to provide personalized suggestions and other smart product features.

When Will Smart Compose Be Available in Google Chat?

According to Google, Smart Compose for Google Chat on the Web will be available for all users by July 11th, 2023. The feature will be on by default for users who have turned on smart features and controls. Users who don’t want to use Smart Compose can turn it off in their settings.

Google has not announced when Smart Compose will be available for Google Chat on mobile devices. However, the feature is already available for Gmail on Android and iOS, so it might not take long for it to come to Google Chat.

However, the game received mostly negative reviews from critics and players alike, who criticized its technical issues, poor gameplay, and lack of polish. The game currently has a Metacritic score of 39 out of 100 for the PlayStation 5 version and a 2.4 out of 10 user score. Many players also mocked the game online, pointing out its glitches, bugs, and high price tag.

Daedalic Entertainment issued an apology on Twitter shortly after the game’s launch, saying that they “Deeply Apologize” that the game did not meet the expectations of themselves or their community. They also promised to work on improving the game with patches and updates.

A Change of Direction

However, it seems that the poor reception of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has had a significant impact on Daedalic Entertainment’s future plans. According to the German website Games Wirtschaft, the company has decided to abandon game development and focus on its publishing business.

As a result, around 25 employees from a team of more than 90 have been laid off, and a second Lord of the Rings game in development at the studio has been canceled. The second game was reportedly in the works since mid-2022 and was based on another character from J.R.R. Tolkien’s universe.

Daedalic Entertainment confirmed the news in a statement to Games Wirtschaft, saying that they value every team member and will support their former employees in finding new opportunities within their network.
