    Resident Evil 4 Remake Guide and Walkthrough

    The Resident Evil 4 remake has 16 chapters that can be played on Assisted, Standard, and Hardcore difficulties. After completing the main campaign, the Professional test and the New Game Plus mode become available.

    Although most of our walkthroughs are based on a Normal playthrough, we have noted any noteworthy changes to boss encounters and puzzle solutions when playing on various difficulties. Here is our Resident Evil 4 walkthrough:

    Chapter 1

    See the cause of the delay:

    • Track down the Hunter’s Lodge Key.
    • Break out of Hunter’s Lodge.

    Drive to the Lake:

    • Hold until the bell rings to survive the brawl in the village square (the shotgun is located in the house that activates a cutscene when you enter it).
    • Visit the Farm.
    • Accept the first request to “Destroy the Blue Medallions.”
    • Open the entrance to the Lakeside Settlement by locating the Wooden Cog.
    • To find Luis, fight through or flee to the Lakeside Settlement home, then enter the cellar.

    Discover the church’s key:

    • See the Lake image in the location of the Boathouse cave.

    Look into the two places:

    • On your way out of the Boathouse cave, collect the Old Wayshrine Key.
    • Accept the “Egg Hunt” Request.
    • Get the Red9 Handgun by going to the boat in the lake.
    • Use the Insignia Key on the locked door when you return to Lakeside Settlement via boat to obtain the “Catch Me A Huge Fish” Request.
    • The puzzles at the Small Cave Shrine and the Great Cave Shrine.

    Get the Church’s key:

    Arrive at the church:

    • Take down El Gigante, the giant, at the Quarries.
    • Use the Church Emblem to enter the Church once more.

    Seek Ashley out in the church:

    • Solve the Church dial problem by locating the Blue Dial.
    • Ashley is on the top floor, so climb the ladder.

    Chapter 5

    Leaving the Church:

    • Boost Ashley so she may down the ladder on the church’s top floor and leave through the window.

    Toward the extraction spot, move:

    • Battle foes in the church cemetery.
    • Accept the request for “A Savage Mutt.”
    • Cross the bridge to the cabin before returning to the Farm.
    • Till Ashley comes back, withstand the cabin onslaught with Luis.

    Chapter 6

    Leaving the village:

    • Pass the Merchant and continue through the small valley to the checkpoint location.
    • Put the crank on the Checkpoint door after defeating the Chainsaw Sister holding it (you can exit the building and fight outside for extra space).

    Let the locals alone:

    • Avoid Méndez and the other adversaries (take a left when you reach the collapsed bridge).
    • Thwart Méndez.

    Chapter 7

    Approaching the courtyard:

    • To use a cannon to damage the castle’s entryway, ascend the Castle Gate.
    • Accept the request to “Destroy the Blue Medallions 3.”
    • enemy killing in the audience chamber.

    Find a different route:

    • Boost Ashley over a barrier to unlock the Dungeons’ entrance.
    • The Dungeon Key, please.
    • Defeat the Garrador Dungeon boss or avoid him.
    • To get to the Treasury, use the Dungeon Key.
    • Complete the sword problem in the Treasury.

    Directions to the Courtyard:

    • To obtain Halo Wheel, battle your way through Water Hall.

    Chapter 8

    Find Ashley:

    • From the Merchant, purchase the body armor.
    • Kill the red-robed Zealot foe in the Wine Cellar to obtain the Crimson Lantern.
    • Return and open a way to the Bindery using the Crimson Lantern.
    • Find the Lithographic Stones, then work out the problem of the Wall with Four Slots.
    • By blasting down big hanging weights and utilizing the Sun and Moon levers to open and close doors, you can move through the Castle Battlements.
    • Shooting hanging weights to lift and utilize the canon to slay the giant.
    • To locate Ashley, return to the castle.

    Chapter 9

    Navigate to the ballroom:

    • To lower flags in the courtyard, locate the Tower Lever positions.
    • Pick up the merchant’s request to “Destroy the Blue Medallions 4” as you enter the castle.
    • Pick up the demand for “More Pest Control” in the grand hall.
    • To obtain the Serpent Head, resolve the Dining Hall bell puzzle.
    • To defeat knight foes, grab the Lion Head from the armory.
    • Take the Cubic Device as you leave the armory.

    Liberate Leon:

    • To enter the Mausoleum, you must correctly solve the Grandfather Clock challenge.
    • To receive the Salazar Family Insignia, you must solve the lantern puzzle.
    • Open the Leon gate with the Salazar Family Insignia.

    Chapter 10

    Step inside the throne room:

    • Accept the request for the “Merciless Knight.”
    • The gates of the Throne Room’s Antechamber can be unlocked using the levers in the Ballroom.
    • To obtain two unicorn horns, kill the Garradors while they are distracted by the bells.
    • To open the door to the Throne Chamber, insert the unicorn horns into the statues.

    Bring yourself up to the surface:

    • Reach the Underground Laboratory via ascending.
    • Use the lever at the back of the lab to turn the elevator back on.
    • Till the elevator comes, defeat Verdugo or outlast it.
    • Take the elevator up.

    Chapter 11

    Bring yourself up to the surface:

    • Grab some dynamite from the mines, then blow out the obstacles in your path.
    • Win the Blast Furnace battle against the two giants.
    • To get to the Stopover, use the minecart.
    • Return to the Hive in the minecart.
    • Accept the request for the “Insect Hive.”
    • Take Krauser on.

    Chapter 12

    Bring yourself up to the surface:

    • To reach the surface, use the elevator.

    Approaching the clock tower:

    • ‘Jewel Thief’ Request, pick up.
    • Accept the request for “The Shame of the Salazar Family.”
    • Get to the Clock Tower using the gondola lift next to the shopkeeper in the Ballroom.

    Reach the clock tower’s summit:

    • Battle your way to the top of the clock tower, where you can raise the lift by pulling the lever.
    • Battle foes on the elevator, then leave the Clock Tower’s summit.

    Chase Ashley:

    • Take Ramón Salazar down.
    • Down to the boat on the elevator.

    Chapter 13

    Chase Ashley:

    • You can navigate the Wharf using cunning, force, or a combination of both (stealth is hard to perfect here).
    • Until you reach Surveillance, fight through the remainder of the island.
    • Push the switch higher up the ladder to power the door out of Surveillance.

    Defend Ashley:

    • Enter Facilities 1 Storage and Utilities and proceed through.
    • Find the file labeled “Laboratory Notification” in the southeast corner of the shadowy area.

    Chapter 14

    Travel up to the summit:

    • Ashley needs a push to escape Facility 1 Storage.
    • Pick up the 5 Requests to “Destroy the Blue Medallions.”
    • Enter Facility 2 through Cargo Depot.
    • Go to Facility 2 and get Ashley to hold the lever to unlock the door before returning to save her.
    • Calculate waste disposal correctly.
    • Pick up the request for “Even More Pest Control.”
    • Protect Ashley while interacting with the crane until the wall is taken down.
    • Accept the request for “The Wandering Dead.”
    • Use the elevator to interact with the sizable piece of Amber.

    Chapter 15

    Travel up to the summit:

    • With Mike’s assistance, battle your way through the Stronghold.
    • Take off the anti-aircraft weapon.
    • To move through the region, use the levers at Bulwark Gate.
    • Take up the request to “Destroy Blue Medallions 6.”
    • Get away from Regenerators in Specimen Storage or fight them.
    • Run through Sanctuary Approach or fight.
    • The Sanctuary, please.
    • Chase Ashley down.
    • Locate Luis’ Laboratory.

    Chapter 16

    Getting off the island:

    • Go for the loading docks after climbing the ladder outside Luis’ lab.
    • Take Sadler down.

    Cheaters from FFXIV’s Latest Raid Gets Caught, Naoki Yoshida Says He’s “Extremely Disappointed”

    A static team has finally cleared the TOP Ultimate for the first time. Unfortunately, the party has been revealed to be using illegal mods.

    The Omega Protocol is the latest Ultimate Raid players have been trying to clear for several weeks. While many gamers have been progressing smoothly with each run, some raid parties have boasted that they have already finished the TOP. However, these people didn’t win their FFXIV Gil fair and square from the Raid. Yoshi-P has even displayed his dismay towards players who used illegal mods.

    First-Time TOP Clears Caught Using Illegal Mods

    Ultimate Raids have been the pinnacle of Final Fantasy XIV raiding, and many parties with FFXIV accounts have been trying to be the first team to clear this challenging encounter. The Free Company UNNAMED_ attained the title as the first party to finish Ultimate TOP. Unfortunately, videos have surfaced wherein team members didn’t abide by the game’s rules to clear the Raid.

    Several clips of the UNNAMED_ clear were posted online, showing that they used illegal mods to help them clear the Raid. The vod showed that one party member could view the Raid from an isometric perspective that zoomed out beyond the normal field-of-view limit. Players quickly realized that some raiders, if not all, were using illegal mods to complete TOP.

    Aside from the zoom-out add-on, it was also reported that the party used other tools, such as the hitbox guide, that gave them an unfair advantage. It is most likely that the Japanese raid team resorted to using mods due to the community-organized World Race for Charity. This challenge monitors and recognizes the teams that clear Ultimate raids first. In response to the current situation, the organizers have clarified they tend to focus more on registered event participants and streamers.

    While this modded completion run is technically the first TOP clear in the world, many players consider it invalid due to unfair advantages, and more people are asking Square Enix to step in. There has been a push from the community to have the devs only count streamers for the complete number so that it can be easily verified if they cheated or not. While it can be an effective strategy to prevent people from using mods, it does provide an extra strain on computers since gamers are required to stream their runs.

    Yoshi-P is Extremely Disappointed

    Square Enix’s Director, Yoshi-P, has shown his displeasure that mods have once again made a significant appearance in the game’s ultimate raids.

    A similar situation occurred during Ultimate Dragonsong’s Reprise. Many parties resorted to using 3rd party tools, including add-ons that show a hitbox, safe zones, and even a voice command that would announce the next attack. Yoshi-P reminded players that using plug-ins is never necessary and will never be acceptable in one of the Lodestone blog posts.

    Square Enix has been lax in the crackdown on third-party tools since most of these are harmless. The devs have adopted an “If we don’t see it, no harm will happen to our players” policy. While the studio does not promote the use of such programs due to Japan’s strict laws on the matter, it recognizes that these tools are purely for cosmetic purposes and don’t require strict regulations. Unfortunately, the proliferation of game-altering mods may change the devs’ stance.

    Plug-Ins in Final Fantasy XIV

    Add-ins in FFXIV has been a hot topic in the Final Fantasy community as Square Enix has explicitly stated that they do not support nor allow the use of 3rd party programs or apps in the game. However, most of the available plug-ins have been ignored since they allow changes to cosmetics and swapping assets without altering the gameplay. Unfortunately, players caught using add-ons are still subject to sanctions.

    It is undeniable that many players are still using mods of some kind. Whether or not these add-ons are purely for cosmetic purposes or for making certain content easier, any time type of third-party tool is against the game’s rules. The devs still need to introduce an automated system to detect and auto-ban bot users, so Square Enix still relies on manual reports. However, the game may be implemented some anti-cheat programs in the future.

    Players who use mods for purely cosmetic purposes shouldn’t worry about getting banned if they don’t stream it or get caught. However, players should remember that 3rd-party tools will never be permitted, so gamers should use their discretion whether they want to keep their modded painted eyebrows. One thing for sure is that players should always refrain from using game-altering plug-ins for farming FFXIV Gil.

    According to Rally Adventure, the most racing events in a single expansion will be delivered along with “the dustiest and dirtiest races” ever seen in Forza Horizon 5. A new Horizon Rally Helicopter will also shine a spotlight on cars during races at night to increase visibility.

    The second Rally Adventure expansion adds 10 all-new cars, 27 new achievements, and 500 Gamerscore. A patch for Forza Horizon 5 was also released yesterday, adding support for Nvidia’s DLSS3 technology on PC and more options to customize steering wheel rotation on consoles.

    This patch will be available before Rally Adventure goes on sale at 11 AM PT today. The Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle, the game’s Premium Edition, and the Expansions Bundle all contain Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure.

And if you’re on a killing spree, it might add up quite a bit since you’ll receive 20 percent of Muspah’s hp back as Prayer XP, roughly 170 Prayer XP per kill.

    Because of his uniques, the Phantom Muspah will still bring you loads of OSRS gold. Hence, you should not be worried that you’re receiving less from his drops because these changes will help stabilize the prices on the market and hopefully bring back some of the value to the individual items and OSRS accounts for sale. This means that once the market stabilizes, you will more or less make a similar amount of OSRS GP per hour from the boss because even though you are receiving less, the value of these items will be slightly higher than I t currently is.

Like any MMO, ES Online allows players to make in-game purchases via their Crown Store, which gives gamers access to tons of cosmetics and microtransactions without using ESO gold. However, some transactions in the in-game store raise eyebrows in the community.

For example, the Quasigriff is just a different re-skin of a mount introduced in 2021. Considering that you would pay an insane amount for it, you hope to get something more unique and original.

    While these items should not be cheap to the point that they are unprofitable or unsustainable, reducing their overall cost to considerable levels would make the Crown Store healthier. Locking behind the best cosmetics and mounts behind a cash shop grinds players’ gears. It becomes even more frustrating when you realize that minimal aesthetic items can be acquired freely as loot or rewards from achievements or activities.

    Potential Solutions to the Crown Store

    Since the Crown Store is the primary source of many cosmetic items, the aim is to make it healthier and more player-friendly. The most obvious solution is to reduce the costs of things to a more reasonable level. Elder Scrolls Online promotes itself as an accessible game due to the meager price range of its expansions and the absence of forced subscriptions. Making items in the Crown Store a bit cheaper further reinforces this image that ESO is trying to portray.

    Another alternative is to make some items in the shop obtainable through in-game actions. Adding some of the best cosmetics as rewards for achievements or drops from brutal raids would incentivize players to become more active in the game and give them something to strive for. If ZeniMax and Bethesda really wants a vigorous and healthy player base, then making rare items become easily collectible for ESO accounts is one of the best ways to go at it.
