Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War 2: Season 2 of Call of Duty is already underway for Vanguard and Warzone, but oddly, Black Ops Cold War in the year 2020 is also receiving new content. Treyarch has revealed that on March 4 Black Ops Cold War will receive a “new” map, assault rifle, and cosmetics pack.
Black Ops Cold War’s new map is a remastered version of Black Ops 1’s WMD map, therefore it’s not actually a new map. The initial location of the snowy map was an abandoned military base where a secret lab developed weapons using Nova 6 chemicals.
Many players enjoy playing on WMD because it is a well-balanced map that is fun to play no matter your preferred strategy. The terrain has high points for snipers wanting to set up a safe vantage point, buildings for close-quarters combat, and open areas for long-range gun battles.
The Vargo 52 assault rifle, which many players were able to acquire early in the game by completing a special mission, is the new weapon that Treyarch has confirmed would be included. Unlocking the new Vargo 52 assault rifle can be done in the following ways.
The Vargo 52 has been dubbed a high-velocity, full-auto assault rifle. Damage at mid-range is maximized thanks to the weapon’s increased muzzle velocity and stable firing control.
#CONFIRMED: Ranked Play arrives on #ModernWarfare2 in 2023, and we're working with our partners to deliver:
The Vargo 52 is being added to a new bundle that will be available in the store for players who aren’t up for the game’s unlock challenge. You can now purchase the Ferrofluid weapon design for the Vargo 52 as part of the new Tracer Pack: Ferro Fury Reactive Mastercraft package from the shop.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War 2
On March 4, you’ll be able to purchase the pack in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone digital marketplaces. Included in this set of eight items are not only two different weapon plans, but also a charm, calling card, sticker, reticle, and gesture.
While the addition of new material to a previous Call of Duty game may come as a surprise, users have noticed the Black Ops 1 Jungle level in the game files with WMD. Additional content for Black Ops Cold War, including maps, weapons, and bundles, is possible in the near future.
Reminder: if you’re experiencing crashes in #MWII or #Warzone2, make sure you’ve updated to the latest GPU drivers.
If drivers are up to date and you still have issues, submit a PC Crash Report to help us identify, investigate, and resolve game crashes. https://t.co/82VGyNscGPhttps://t.co/m4PULyIOFT
Fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War shouldn’t hold their breath for a numbered sequel to the 2020 game, regardless of the direction the series takes. The possibility of a sequel cannot be discounted, although there are strong arguments against it.
Is Cold War a prequel to Black Ops 2?
The game’s setting in the 1980s allows the developers to construct a new story in the Black Ops universe without interfering with any of the previous games in the franchise.
Is Cold War canon to Black Ops 2?
To be sure, it is not always the case. Black Ops Cold War’s storyline takes place between the years 1981 and 1984. Since the events of the original Black Ops campaign occurred between 1986 and 1989, it is entirely possible that the two stories continue to coexist in the Black Ops II timeframe. To be sure, it is not always the case.
Is Cold War related to Black Ops?
Campaign: Black Ops Cold War’s single-player experience is the logical continuation of the first Black Ops Campaign, and it has a convoluted storyline that sees the return of popular characters like Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and Jason Hudson.
Does Black Ops 2 take place after Cold War?
Location and personalities
Both the last years of the First Cold War (1986–1989) and the Second Cold War and the Rare earth trading conflict (2025) serve as settings for the single-player campaign’s two interconnected stories.

Psychonauts 2 is a delightfully anachronistic sequel to a game released 16 years ago about exploring other people’s minds and retrieving their personal belongings.
It’s a message from the days when video games were largely focused on a linear progression of running, leaping, and collecting objects in a fantasy world with cartoonish visuals, and when every studio was attempting to discover new and interesting methods to make those activities feel fresh and exciting.
This game is amusing, unapologetically odd, and a lot of fun for no good reason other than that it’s different. Although the concepts and analogies in Psychonauts 2 aren’t always as obvious as I anticipated them to be, the game still manages to touch on some mental health concerns that may be triggering for some people.
As the player, you take control of Razputin, a ten-year-old psychic who escaped his family of circus acrobats to join a group of skilled mind-hopping spies. Surprisingly, the acrobatics are just as entertaining as the psi abilities: lifting objects with telekinesis and zapping figments of the imagination with mind-lasers is cool, but Raz is so nimble and light that leaping him around people’s freaky mental architecture is joyful in and of itself, even when it’s fiddly.
We do our running around the Motherlode, the Psychonauts’ headquarters, and the nearby campsites, woodlands, and quarries outside of people’s heads. We delve into the psyches of our protagonists and antagonists, encountering surreal settings that poke fun at their compulsions, inclinations, and mistakes. One person’s head is a casino/hospital hybrid, while another’s is a city-sized obstacle course packed with diseases and bowling balls. I’d go into greater detail, but finding them is half the fun.
The aesthetic of Psychonauts is trippy, bizarre, and occasionally unsettling. If it were a kids’ movie, it wouldn’t be made by Pixar or DreamWorks, but rather the slightly odd French one you vaguely remember seeing on TV while on vacation, in which the main character occasionally gets chased by witches made of bees or has to fight a puking hand-puppet.
Psychonauts 2
Nothing else comes to mind; the figures’ odd proportions and asymmetrical faces recall Tim Burton’s bizarre aesthetic after being filtered through Picasso’s Instagram account. Every mental landscape is a whole new universe, with its own unique aesthetic and boundless, unbridled creativity. To Psychonauts 2’s credit, I can declare without a doubt that, despite having played video games for the better part of 25 years, I had no idea what to expect from it.
The actors’ deadpan delivery adds to the unselfconscious atmosphere created by the screenplay, which is humorous but also not happy with itself. Razputin’s mother nonchalantly remarks, “Every time you lie, you cut a day off your mother’s life,” when he tells her he’s leaving to practice his acrobatics.
In the vein of Monty Python and The Mighty Boosh, the game carelessly uses bizarre setups, off-the-cuff comments, and self-referential gags, and doesn’t give a hoot if you don’t get them. It’s a refreshing change from the forced sarcasm that infects so many comic video games, especially those made in the United States.
As a player, I rarely see something that is so unafraid to be itself. Every single hour brings a brand-new psychological playground full of surprises and a brand-new cast of interesting characters.
A few aspects feel dated, such as the emphasis on collecting and the unnecessary upgrade tree that only serves to muddle the wide variety of psychic abilities. This game, however, stands out from the crowd and helps us remember why 3D platformers were once the most played type of video game.
Frequently asked questions
Is Psychonauts 2 a good game?
Although it does retain some of the platforming’s clunkiness from the middle of the 2000s, Psychonauts 2 is everything I could have asked for and more in a sequel to the original.
Is Psychonauts 2 selling well?
That Double Fine has created its “highest-rated and best-selling game to date” with Psychonauts 2 is an understatement. The tweets of the company’s former art director suggest sales of at least $1.7 million. If you want to know which game has received the most praise and sold the most copies from Double Fine, it’s Psychonauts 2.
Is Psychonauts 2 about mental health?
Overall, Psychonauts 2 finds a middle ground between the serious and humorous treatment of trauma. The game starts with well-worded mental health advice that warns players the game deals with important issues, albeit often in a humorous way.

Elden Ring Armored Core VI: While developing Armored Core VI, Elden Ring studio FromSoftware warned fans not to expect the cult classic sci-fi franchise to go all “Soulsborne” on them, shifting focus from demigods to massive mechs. Instead, a recent interview with IGN’s president of FromSoftware, Hidetaka Miyazaki, and game director, Masaru Yamamura, suggests that the upcoming sequel would remain faithful to what fans of the franchise have come to expect, such as a strong focus on mech customization.
When it comes to trailers at The Game Awards 2022, Armored Core VI was clearly the winner. Despite the fact that information about FromSoftware’s newest game was leaked quite some time before, when the game was eventually released, fans went absolutely bonkers over the crunchy metal, apocalyptic feelings, and eerie synth soundtrack.
The mechs, explosions, and world all looked great in the teaser, especially when contrasted to the previous game in the series from a decade ago.
However, it wasn’t a gameplay trailer, so it didn’t really give us any idea of what to anticipate from the first new Armored Core game since the PS3 era. Will Armored Core VI take an open-world approach, like Elden Ring? Do we expect a leveling system like Dark Souls or a story like Bloodborne?
The focus of Armored Core 6 is on "assembling and customizing your own mech," says FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki. https://t.co/FZdgkMv3J6
However, that’s not quite the case. “We have not been trying to direct it towards more Soulsborne-style gameplay,” Miyazaki added. The first thing I want to do is make absolutely crystal clear is…”
Armored Core VI will instead put an emphasis on the series’ staple: constructing mechs. Players can customize their own lethal machine by experimenting with different combinations of parts, from the legs to the rocket launchers. Meanwhile, in combat, players will get benefits from employing strategies that put their opponents on the defensive. While “severe and brutal fights” remain a priority, player agency and mech mobility remain the game’s bedrock.
Elden Ring Armored Core VI
Further details regarding Armored Core VI were revealed during an interview.
The plot is broken up into different “missions.”
Between missions, you adjust your arsenal to your preference.
Mech upgrades can be purchased using the money you earn from missions.
Even though a vs mode is being added, multiplayer won’t be the main draw.
All-new, canon-incompatible tale and environment
The “highlight of the game” consists of encounters with mechanical bosses.
The interviewer notes that the games in the Soulsborne series share certain characteristics with other FromSoftware titles; for example, the games all include stories steeped in mystery and lore and post-apocalyptic settings populated by formidable enemies.
It is an honour to have been chosen as Game of the Year 2022 among so many great titles.
We truly are thankful for your enduring support, and we hope your journey into the Lands Between was as memorable to you as it was to us.#ELDENRINGpic.twitter.com/cJCGDVQDWD
Although Armored Core VI is unmistakably a mech fighter, the developer isn’t trying to convince anyone that it’s a radical departure from the studio’s previous successes.
Beyond the nitty-gritty mech-head tinkering, fans of the series are excited for the return of Armored Core because they want to see how FromSoftware, which has grown and evolved since Dark Souls practically established its own genre, uses its new resources and knowledge to tackle a long-dormant title.
Releases in the Armored Core series, which began in 1997 on the original PlayStation, have slowed to a trickle since the introduction of the PlayStation 3. While Armored Core V was a marked improvement over its predecessor, it was still too niche for the masses when it was released in 2012.
Since then, both FromSoftware and the capabilities of gaming systems have expanded, resulting in the series skipping a full generation of consoles. Player preferences have also altered, which could pave the road for Armored Core’s triumphant return.
Frequently asked questions
Will Armored Core 6 be Souls-like?
It’s been confirmed by FromSoftware that Armored Core 6 will focus solely on mech customization, rather than trying to ape the style of Dark Souls or Elden Ring. There will be a dedicated vs mode, and the single-player campaign will be structured around missions.
Will Armored Core 6 be on PC?
For the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox One X in 2023, you can get Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.
Is armored core like Dark Souls?
Compared to the Souls games, Armored Core has a highly unique and distinct world. Both programs deal with bleak themes and settings, so don’t get the wrong idea. One of the most glaring distinctions between the Souls games and the Armored Core series is the genre; the former is fantasy, while the latter is science fiction.

Resident Evil 8 Village: The tension between terror and control is central to Resident Evil. It’s a mainstay of the show’s formula. Each game begins with the participant in a state of disorientation and confusion. In the conclusion, they are armed with the means to combat these feelings (often a rocket launcher).
In “Resident Evil 8: Village,” the nameless protagonist Ethan Winters (who also starred in “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard”) is once again thrust into a terrifyingly foreign environment. For those who enjoyed the subtle terror of Ethan’s seventh game adventure, however, this entry falls short. In fact, you will probably be dissatisfied thereafter. On the contrary, if you love Resident Evil 4 as much as I do, you will enjoy this.
Designed as a theme park for horror clichés and bloodshed, the titular village leads you straight into a vortex of horror imagery as Ethan follows a trail of bodies down a sewer. Vulgarity and gore are held up to the camera in Resident Evil games as a means of intimidation, confusion, and occasionally charm.
One piece of good news: the ride in “Village” is a sight to behold. As the combat intensifies later in the game, I couldn’t help but draw parallels to the 2019 installment of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” in terms of the game’s stunning visuals and sound. (Think of it like a war, except with werewolves and biomechanical freaks instead of firearms and militants.
In a flash, “Village” hits all the narrative high points that “Resident Evil 4” veterans will recognize, along with bizarre adversaries like Lady Dimetrescu, the 9-foot-tall vampire that dominated the game’s marketing. Throughout the game, she and the other village lords evoke a magnificent and menacing jubilant spirit.
Like the opera-house drama of “Code Veronica” or the climactic confrontation between an undead Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Jeep in the sixth sequel, this is the kind of bloody glitz that the franchise sometimes enjoys dressing in. When it comes to horror, Ethan “Village” swaps the small-town Louisiana weirdness of “Biohazard” for stranger environs.
The bad news is that Dimetrescu is not even a major factor in this game at this point. In fact, she is only one of four bad guys that Ethan must defeat in order to save his daughter. It’s true, it’s another scary game about the ups and downs of fatherhood. Because of the tiring nature of the idea, it’s encouraging that the four “children” of the main antagonist, Mother Miranda, attempt to give it new life (or death?).
However, that is not true of all of them. The third antagonist’s part of the scary park is a tedious exercise in trial and error, and his battle provides no thrills.
In contrast to your other opponents, Dimetrescu possesses a magnetic personality. She commands attention wherever she goes, and you won’t be able to tear yourself away from the screen whether she’s on screen or following you around the castle. Not even the mysterious Mother Miranda can steal the spotlight as she does, and her absence will be felt by all when she finally leaves the stage.
Thankfully, what comes next in this horror display is effectively chilling. Dimetrescu’s showmanship will not have any negative effect on the intensity of the game. Next up comes a monster whose presence is so unnerving that, in contrast to Dimetrescu, I found myself constantly averting my gaze from it.
Resident Evil 8 Village
Players have a lot of freedom to roam about in the “Village.” It’s like a more relaxed version of “Metroid,” where completing objectives unlocks new locations and hidden items. The heart of the settlement is guarded by a few doors and chests filled with goodies and plot points. It’s all really shallow and not very interesting, but this is Resident Evil, not “The Last of Us.”
The environment is not meant to be interacted with; rather, it serves to inspire awe and provide subtle hints about your progress. Neither the game nor its puzzles are particularly clever, and they are on par with those of the most recent remakes. They’re not perfect, but they’re good enough to make some gamers feel smart.
The scenery in which these easy puzzles are set rarely grows stale. Storywise, once you leave the town and the castle, you’ll encounter some familiar elements from previous Resident Evil games; nevertheless, the writers play with your expectations just enough to keep things interesting. Ethan Winters is neither a fascinating nor a wise character, despite being the everyman to whom the audience can relate.
However, he becomes a sympathetic character at the end of “Village,” which portrays him as a helpless victim of his own circumstances. At the conclusion of “Biohazard,” Ethan Winters has evolved from the game’s steadfast, solemn, and fearful protagonist to someone more like himself.
He’s the sad superhero lead in a film by Zack Snyder, who brings a focused intensity of feeling to his mythological heroes. Here, the stakes and action are raised to where they usually are in a Resident Evil game. The village, in contrast to Biohazard’s solitary conclusion, features a murky plot and even murkier motivations, and it does it on a scale not seen since 2012’s obnoxious and ludicrous Resident Evil 6.
Because of this, how much you enjoy “Village” will be determined by what you expect from Resident Evil. In the moments where “Village” embraces its campy, comic goth violence, it is at its best. My favorite part is when it suddenly, illogically, equips me with means of resisting insanity.
I really appreciate how many design choices were clearly inspired by the fourth game. I also appreciate how “Village” uses several of its gameplay elements, such as the reappearance of the attaché case. As much as they are about slaying zombies, Resident Evil games put an emphasis on carefully managing your inventory; “Village” even lets you play “Tetris” with your supplies. My man Ethan Winters took frequent breaks to channel his inner Marie Kondo, sorting through his possessions and reorganizing them till he felt a spark of joy.
The enormous Duke, who once again presides with a vigilant eye, represents the return of a mercantile system. Fans and lore theorists have long speculated about the identity of the mysterious “What’re ya buying” merchant from “RE4”; the Duke is undoubtedly related to him.
However, the Duke reveals some additional information concerning the character of these merchants and the overall plot of the series. The Duke will tell you to “have a nice adventure” and then sell you one of the numerous permanent upgrades for your weapons.
The Resident Evil series constantly struggles to strike a balance between its bloody action, the bleak beauty of its settings, and the goofiness of its stereotypical, completely stupid protagonists. Until it can’t help itself and runs rampant in its own imagination, “Village” comes dangerously close to toeing that line.
There will be many happy fans, myself included. Making sense out of the end of the world and the irrational, emotional people in it is unlikely, so you might as well make an adventure out of it.

Horizon Forbidden West DLC: Horizon: Forbidden West will have additional downloadable content in 2023 called Burning Shores, and the LEGO kit will still be sold alongside the game.
Burning Shores will send Aloy to the ruins of Los Angeles and Hollywood and will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 on April 19, 2023, although also debut on PlayStation 4. The DLC will be exclusive to the newer console for technical and artistic reasons, and this choice was made to ensure the full realization of the team’s vision.
We’re thrilled to announce Burning Shores, our expansion to Horizon Forbidden West which sees Aloy pursue a sinister threat in the untamed wilds of Los Angeles, now a treacherous volcanic archipelago.
At The Game Awards 2022, a video for the DLC was unveiled, featuring cinematic imagery of the new area and Aloy riding the flying Sunwing machine above a post-apocalyptic version of the environment.
The LEGO Group’s set for Horizon: Forbidden West was one of the year’s most unexpected releases, and it looks like it will be around until at least 2023.
Horizon Forbidden West DLC
No further game-based models have been announced as of yet, but this DLC could give people who haven’t already picked up 7698 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck a reason to do so. Notable on our recent list of the top Minifigures of 2022 was the special Aloy Minifigure.
Included in the trailer’s last seconds is a massive Horus machine, which might serve as the basis for a future LEGO build based on Horizon: Forbidden West. A streaming series that takes place in the Horizon universe is also in the works.
Frequently asked questions
Will there be add-ons for Horizon forbidden West?
Our best guess is that the Horizon: Forbidden West downloadable content will be released somewhere in the first half of 2023. Throughout your travels in Horizon: Forbidden West, you’ll come across a plethora of armor sets fit for Aloy.
Is HFW getting a DLC?
While numerous smaller patches have been released for Forbidden West since its release to address bugs and improve the game’s quality of life, and a New Game Plus option will be added later in the year, this DLC pack will be the first of its kind.
How do I claim Horizon Forbidden West DLC?

God of War Ragnarok Outsells Modern Warfare 2: Both God of War Ragnarok and Modern Warfare 2 is currently giving each other a run for their money in terms of sales. After taking into account both digital and traditional sales, the most recent numbers from the European GSD reveal that Santa Monica Studio’s epic adventure has surpassed Activision’s Call of Duty juggernaut as the best-selling video game title for the month of November 2022.
This comes less than a week after we announced that Modern Warfare 2 had beaten Ragnarok to the top spot on the charts in both the UK and the US for the same time period.
God of War Ragnarok launch week physical sales in the UK were bigger than Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Elden Ring launch weeks
Sales were 51% higher than GoW 2018 and PS5 hardware had its highest sales week of 2022
The video game God of War: Ragnarok is currently at number one on Europe’s Top 10 list for the month of November 2022.
According to the statistics provided by GamesIndustry, Ragnarok has unexpectedly taken first place in Europe’s Top 10 video games.
I'll add obviously don't expect God of War Ragnarok to outsell Call of Duty Modern Warfare II overall
It's just for a platform exclusive to even outsell a game like that in physical sales is a huge accomplishment. Basically just an indication Ragnarok has had a gigantic launch
In addition to that, the video games The Last of Us Part 2, Horizon: Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, the reboot of God of War, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales all made it into the top 20.
However, given that Nintendo has not revealed any information regarding the number of digital sales generated by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it is possible that Ragnarok’s victory was based solely on technicality.
The addition of those figures could have knocked Ragnarok down from its perch atop the leaderboard, but I have no doubt that the game will still emerge victorious.
Even better, sales of PS5 have increased by 49%, and the PS5 DualSense controller has surpassed all other peripherals to become the best-selling product in that category thanks to a sales increase of 66% since November 2021.
Frequently asked questions
Is God of War Ragnarok better than God of War?
As compared to its predecessor, God of War: Ragnarok has a more epic story, improved visuals, and a wider variety of gameplay styles. However, God of War’s legacy casts a long shadow, and Ragnarok isn’t as exciting or mysterious as its predecessor. Playing God of War: Ragnarok will help clarify things.
Is God of War Ragnarok a good game?
Ragnarok, God of War (PS5) Score: 10/10
To put it simply, God of War: Ragnarok is an absolute masterpiece of video game design. The year 2022 could see it as the best video game ever made.
Is God of War Ragnarok bigger than God of War?
Reports from charting company GfK last week indicated that Ragnarok sold more copies on its opening day than any prior game in the series had in its first week. The statistics firm claims that the game’s initial week sales were 51% higher than those of the previous best-selling game, God of War (2018).

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart: showcases the best qualities of recent Sony games. It’s the best PlayStation-exclusive game since “Bloodborne” in 2015.
The interpersonal drama in “The Last of Us” is believable and heartbreaking; “Rift Apart” has the same quality. Like the other recent PS5 exclusive, “Returnal,” it features a frenetic, dodge-and-shoot rhythm and screen-filling particle effects.
The effortlessness of Ratchet’s charisma and charm would make Nathan Drake of “Uncharted” feel insecure. As expected, “Marvel’s Spider-Man” devs Insomniac Games put its expertise to use in this platformer, staging spectacular set pieces, unlike anything we’ve seen before.
This article includes information about Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Is the Greatest Unique Game on the Playstation Platform. So, Read the complete article to know more detailed information.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is out now, exclusive to the PS5!!
— Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart (AVAILABLE NOW) (@RatchetRift) June 12, 2021
There are times when it makes me think of the best games I’ve played on other platforms and in other genres. In the role of Ratchet, I traveled to the desolate and magical planet of Sevali and blasted my way around it like I would a planet in “Destiny.” Like the typical video game tendency to portray wyverns as fighter jets, I rode a fire-breathing dragon across the sky and between enemy ship formations as Rivet, Ratchet’s alternate reality counterpart.
At some point, hostilities escalate into all-out war, and the game’s enchanting creature designs and dynamic animation make it easy to picture a futuristic “Halo” game’s bustling, action-packed battlefield. Realizing I was playing the anti-climactic conclusion of “Avengers: Endgame,” with additional dimensional rifts opening to release troops upon you, was a jarring realization. As an alternative to Thanos-facing portals of Marvel’s heroes, we have two lovable moggies defending Earth from an endless swarm of extraterrestrial invaders.
This alone makes it easy to suggest “Rift Apart” to just about anyone, as it is the first major game to be released specifically for the current generation of consoles. However, the game’s graphics and writing push it far above the series’ previous peak.
The incredible animation is where we should begin. The Ratchet and Clank series has quietly led the charge toward the long-held goal of video game graphic quality exceeding that of Pixar films. The original titles were already the best demonstrations of the platforms’ capabilities, and their development team included PlayStation console architect Mark Cerny.
In comparison to Ratchet’s wide-eyed, grin-widening eagerness, Rivet’s cautious nods and a tight-lipped smile on the PlayStation 5 belie her unwillingness to trust others. Thus, the animation accomplishes what actors are tasked to do: convey meaning beyond words.
Although Insomniac has always worked with the best animators in the gaming business, the release of “Rift Apart” solidifies the studio’s position at the forefront of cutting-edge animation techniques. Whether it’s a robot or one of the last remaining Lombax, an extraterrestrial space cat race, Ratchet and Rivet are upholding a proud cartooning tradition by giving each of their creations a unique personality through a colorful array of expressive features.
Neither the genre nor the medium is significantly advanced by “Rift Apart.” The gameplay loop Insomniac developed for the second sequel, “Going Commando,” is refined instead. This is great news for the series legion of fans who consider Ratchet & Clank to be the best platformer series on this side of Mario’s universe.
The game’s central gimmick, rifts between dimensions, promised a lot of fresh ideas, but it falls well short of even 2007’s “Portal” in terms of playfulness and originality. Rifts serve primarily as a means of transportation across levels, allowing you to either swing to “open rifts” like grappling points or warp to an entirely new area. Other than that, it’s a neat trick with visuals, made feasible by the PS5’s technology.
Where it falls short in terms of gameplay novelty, it more than makes up for its near-perfect execution. The controls reached their pinnacle on the PS2 and haven’t changed since. Collecting and upgrading the game’s 18 unique weapons may be a lucrative pastime. The nine planets each have their own unique culture and experiences that are worth remembering.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
On Rivet’s home planet, the locals all go by the name Mort and have charming Minnesotan accents. There’s the mining facility with the nervous workers, which is reasonable given how close their drilling activity comes to destroying the world.
At the player’s discretion, the story switches between Rivet and Ratchet, with the former exploring one region of space and the latter another. Dr. Nefarious, a popular villain, dragged the heroes into a universe where he has already won and controls as an emperor, and now they must fix the interdimensional mess he left behind.
To me, “Rift Apart” illustrates and instills confidence in the pacing of presenting two different heroes working separately toward the same goal, much like a dry run for the inevitable Spider-Man sequel with more than one web-slinger. Given the concept of parallel universes, it makes it obvious that taking control of Rivet is functionally identical to doing so with Ratchet.
In keeping with franchise norms, both Clank and Ratchet’s new artificial intelligence sidekick Glitch receive unique features throughout the game. Puzzles reminiscent of “Lemmings” force Clank to direct all possible versions of himself toward a common goal in order to solve the dimensional issue. Glitch is lovable in all her awkward self-consciousness, and her small part in the story became an encouraging example of tenacity and resolve.
Mark Mothersbaugh, founder of the band Devo and composer of the film’s score, uses synth-driven brass instruments reminiscent of those in his “Thor: Ragnarok” scores to create an otherworldly soundscape. While original composer David Bergeaud’s sample-heavy, breakbeat compositions will always be missed by fans, Mothersbaugh pays tribute to those older games by preserving much of the vintage radio-show ambiance, right down to the theremin notes that were copyrighted in 1928 by Russian inventor Leon Theremin.
Those eerie tones, together with driving arpeggio melodies, perfectly capture the unpredictability of space and create the stage for an exciting journey through the stars.
The characters are as vibrant as the settings they inhabit. Voice actress Jennifer Hale (of “Mass Effect”) is unrecognizable as the cautious young Rivet. She is among a cast of excellent actors that provide humanity to this tale of robots and space cats. Long-running jokes about Dr. Nefarious’s out-of-character progressive work policies and his losing record finally get the spectacular payoffs they deserve, making him a comedy highlight as well.
The game’s accessibility elements, such as a slow-motion option that makes the hectic bullet hell more manageable, make this family-friendly plot more enjoyable across a wide range of skill levels. By reducing the frame rate, I was able to admire the efforts of the Insomniac team, who clearly enjoyed the creative flexibility afforded by the game’s innovative technology.
At launch, you can play in “Performance Ray Tracing” mode, which boosts the game’s frame rate to 60 frames per second and improves the visual quality of the game’s colors, movement, and textures. A crackling energy beam and a Gatling cannon that creates black holes are two of my favorite examples of the series’ signature wackiness, and they’re simpler than ever to enjoy now.
The uniqueness of “Rift Apart” rests mostly on Rivet and the connections she forges with both returning and new characters (one of whom I won’t reveal). The team, according to game director Marcus Smith, intended to develop a story that wasn’t as topical as the early game’s indictments of corporatism and pop culture.
Author Lauren Mee has crafted a story that stands on its own, with Rivet’s struggle to accept her isolation being a major theme. Relationships and trust are built on shared experiences, but Rivet has only known a world of treachery and falsehoods. When nearly everyone you’ve ever encountered has been dishonest, how do you go about collaborating with them?
Rivet’s search for community isn’t without its own share of heartache. You can tell that she doesn’t sure how to deal with the reopened wound of betrayal and that this hurts more than just herself. Even though we know that everything will turn out OK in the end, these times nonetheless hit hard.
Frequently asked questions
Is Ratchet and Clank Rift apart a good game?
The visuals of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are unparalleled. Ratchet & Clank is, at its heart, a standard action shooter. The speed and the range of interactions and goals in Insomniac do a fantastic job of maintaining interest. Presentation, though, is what really pulls its weight here.
Will Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart be on PS4?
Without the SSD, the game’s ability to switch between levels and scenarios in a flash would be severely limited on PS4. You can play other Ratchet & Clank games on PS4, but you’ll need a PS5 to experience Rift Apart.
Do I have to play Ratchet and Clank before Rift Apart?
If I Haven’t Played the Previous Games in the Series, Will I Need to? Developer Insomniac Games has stated that the game is intended to stand alone narratively, so even if this is your first Ratchet & Clank game, you should still enjoy it.

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races 2022: Two of the world’s oldest racetracks are featured in a fresh new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, which span the following week of online racing.
In addition to the full tuning being available for one event this week, players are also likely to make use of the automobile loan option that was introduced earlier this year.
Race A, as has been the case for nearly every Race A since May, is once again a “No DR/SR” event. No of how well or poorly you drive, your Driver or Sportsmanship Rating will not improve or degrade as a result of the race.
The race will be held at Goodwood Motor Circuit this week, a former Formula One facility that now hosts the annual “Revival” event, which is themed after the cars (and clothes) from the track’s final years of full competition.
That being said, you’ll be racing in a 1965 Mini Cooper S, and, with the exception of the nitrous oxide, you’ll have complete control over the car’s setup for this week’s event. There are no restrictions on customizing a Mini Cooper as long as you keep the weight below 350.00PP. This may be difficult if you opt to install a turbocharged K20 engine.
There are no tire restrictions, but you’ll need to find the sweet spot between speed and control around Goodwood’s high-speed turns (and two pretty slow ones). It will seem like a blink of an eye when the four-lap race is over.
Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races 2022
The second race is your typical GT7 fare. You’ll be making your way to the Kyoto Driving Park track and the expansive Yamagiwa+Miyabi layout, but backward. Therefore, you will first drive the normal Miyabi course, then the reverse Yamagiwa, and finally, the normal Yamagiwa.
Because the BOP in GT7 still overcompensates these cars in races without tire wear, this Gr.4 race is likely to see another week of all-wheel drive dominance — if not grids full of Alfa Romeo 155s.
Finally, in Race C, we visit the 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit to see some of the game’s quickest vehicles in action.
Despite the short distance of only five laps, this week’s race includes a strategic twist. Worryingly, the needed Racing Medium tires wear down four times as fast as normal, yet fuel consumption is seven times as high as normal, at 7x.
There's plenty to celebrate in our November update 🎉
The Group C cars will be able to turn in faster laps because of their incredible straight-line speed, but they have a penchant for drinking down the gasoline, so a pit stop is certain unless you go with a modern hybrid and learn to save.
You can participate in the Daily Races after finishing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe single-player hub, which grants access to Sport Mode and hence to the Daily Races.
GT7‘s Daily Races have always been released on Mondays, and the next batch is scheduled to hit the game on December 19.

Frequently asked questions
Does GT7 have daily races?
The most recent Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races are now available to players, providing them with a new set of tasks to keep them occupied over the course of the next week.
What do you get for daily workout GT7?
Roulette Ticket
Since then, the Daily Workout incentives that are supposed to activate once a player has driven 26.219 miles in-game – this number refers to the distance of an official Olympic Marathon route – do not automatically activate for every player. This is one of the ways that one can obtain a Roulette Ticket on a daily basis, which can result in winnings such as brand-new automobiles, spare parts, or cold hard cash.
How long do daily races last GT7?
Daily Race A: This event is designed for those with no previous racing experience and begins every 20 even minutes (00, 20, 40). Consists of competitions over small distances, the vehicles used being often those with minimal power, such as karts.
How do I unlock everything in GT7?
Gran Turismo 7 requires players to complete the game’s main campaign before they may unlock any of the game’s tracks. Some of the most renowned places in the world, including Le Mans, remain hidden away until the very end of the game. Despite this, there are no specific prerequisites that need to be fulfilled in order for you to unlock a new track, so that’s one less thing to worry about.

Gotham Knights Update Heroic Assault Starro: The upcoming update for Gotham Knights will take the game in a way that is very unexpected. It will add a gigantic starfish with one eye to the game, and its purpose will reportedly be to referee the new Heroic Assault game option.
The extraterrestrial echinoderm in question is called Starro, and fans of 2021’s The Suicide Squad may recognize him as a kaiju-like supervillain in that film.
Starro shoots lasers from his limbs, and controls lesser beings by reproducing asexually into many smaller starfishes and thusly attaching them, Facehugger-style, to your grill: Starro is a kaiju-like supervillain who shoots.
A challenger from the stars arrives in Gotham tomorrow. Don't miss the free update for Heroic Assault tomorrow at 8AM PT. #GothamKnightspic.twitter.com/UD4xt5di3j
This power appears to explain how Starro is connected to Gotham Knights through the cooperative horde mode known as “Heroic Assault,” which supports four players. In it, players must battle their way through thirty levels of foes, all of whom are apparently under Starro’s mental control.
Gotham Knights Update Heroic Assault Starro
As for whether or not Starro himself is confronted, nobody truly knows the answer to that question. The image that was posted to Twitter on Monday depicted the beast after it had been contained in a vat and downsized to a more manageable size.
Heroic Assault was discussed in the lead-up to the launch of Gotham Knights on October 21, but it was always intended to be a post-launch update to the game.
On November 29, the update will be available at 11 am Eastern Standard Time. Gotham Knights is a game that can be played on the PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. WB Games Montreal was the studio that developed the game.

Can you play as Batgirl in Gotham Knights?
After Batman’s death, it’s up to the players to take up the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City.
What is the visionary pack in Gotham Knights?
The special “Knight watch by Jim Lee” Transmog, as well as Beyond Suitstyle, Salvaging, Boosted Gear, three different suit colors, and an exclusive emote, are all part of the Visionary Pack.
How many characters can you play in Gotham Knights?
Four playable personalities
In Gotham Knights, players take on the role of the Dark Knight in an action RPG set in Gotham City. Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood are the four main characters you can control in the game.
Who is the best character to play in Gotham Knights?
Putting personal preferences to one side, Batgirl is the game’s top character, with Red Hood and Nightwing close behind. There are no obvious holes in Batgirl’s armor.

Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines 2: Paradox Interactive is releasing a sequel to their action role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The game is a continuation of the World of Darkness series and is based on the tabletop role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade, with which it shares a name. Hardsuit Labs was responsible for its development at first, but the publisher revealed in February 2021 that work had been handed off to an unknown studio.
The game follows a human in 21st-century Seattle, who is killed and revived as a “thin blood” vampire with relatively weak vampiric abilities. The game is mostly experienced from a first-person viewpoint, shifting to a third-person perspective for some events.
After creating a vampire, the player chooses from a number of different clans and then assigns their character to one of three disciplines, each with its own set of special abilities that may be upgraded. It will be available on Windows PCs, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox X/S.
The majority of the action in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 takes place in the first person, with the perspective switching to the third for things like special attacks.
Before beginning the game, players create a vampire character and choose a character background that reflects who they were as a human, such as a barista (the default background, with no perks), or a career criminal, coroner, or police officer. The player’s pronoun selection is made apart from the character’s physical appearance.
Thin blood has the option of starting with all three disciplines (vampiric talents) at their disposal, but must make a choice between Chiropteran (flying and summoning bats), Mentalism (levitating things and people), and Nebulation (controlling the moon) (summoning mist to attack, conceal oneself, or transforming into the mist to move through small spaces).
The thin blood has the option of joining one of the five vampire clans, each of which offers its own unique set of training methods and improvements. Certain skills are shared throughout clans, although no two clans have the same set of skills. Clan Brujah has the ability to increase their physical strength for greater damage (Potence) and their speed (Celerity);
Clan Tremere can use blood magic in combat (Thaumaturgy) or increase their senses (Auspex); Clan Toreador also possesses Celerity and has the ability to command the adoration and devotion of others (Presence); Clan Ventrue has the ability to deflect or absorb attacks (Fortitude) and has the ability (Dementation). After the initial launch, we intend to provide support for additional clans.
There are optional quests for the player to complete outside of the main storyline that can be uncovered by simply playing around. The player has access to a mobile phone and can text non-playable persons for clues that will help them progress through the game and complete additional quests. As long as one is equipped with the right skills, one can use force, stealth, or even charm to overcome obstacles and overcome opposition.
In addition, there are five different groups that the player can join forces with. The player’s allies and adversaries are not based on their skills, but on their ideology. A player can join several different groups at once, and remain loyal or work against them from within; some groups may refuse to cooperate with the player depending on their behavior.
The player character, as a vampire, must subsist on blood and can do so by feeding on humans and draining some or all of their blood, or by using rats or blood bags. Vampires’ enhanced senses allow them to pick up on resonances in the blood of human victims, which can reveal their victims’ current emotional state such as fear, want, agony, rage, or joy. The player gains momentary advantages, such as increased melee strength or seduction ability, by feeding on certain resonances.
Consistently nourishing the same resonance can lead to irreversible improvements known as advantages. Soak is a vampire’s innate talent that protects them from ranged attacks and allows them to take some damage before they become incapacitated. They are able to deal more damage to humans because of their superhuman physical powers.
Players will suffer consequences if they use vampire powers in front of humans, as doing so will eventually tip off the authorities to their true nature. If the player repeatedly breaks the disguise, human citizens will start avoiding the streets and other vampires will start hunting them.
In-game, the protagonist’s humanity is measured in points. Killing innocents, for example, lowers a person’s Humanity score. The closer the player character gets to be a mindless beast, the lower their Humanity score.
Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines 2
Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Release Date
In February of 2019, Paradox and Alice & Smith released their dating app “Tender,” which served as the first tease for the upcoming Bloodlines 2. The program claimed it could utilize the user’s blood type and a “soulmate algorithm” to pair them with nearby sick people.
The fictional CEO of Tender, Malcolm Chandler, sent out note warning employees to be ready for the game’s unveiling on March 21, 2019, in San Francisco, which was shown on a Twitch Livestream and then on Paradox’s official Twitter account.
Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S are all on the list of platforms the game will be available on when it launches. Standard, Unsanctioned, and Blood Moon editions can be pre-ordered, and each comes with two story-based DLC packs and the werewolf-themed Season of the Wolf expansion.
In addition, those who preorder the Unsanctioned edition or higher will receive content relating to the Bloodlines franchise, including references to characters like Jeanette Voerman and Damsel.
The Collector’s Edition comes with a steel bookcase, a map of Seattle, the soundtrack on 7-inch vinyl, a digital version of the Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition core book, and a 28-centimeter statue of the character Elif. Furthermore, “Season of the Wolf” and three other outfit DLC packs are included.
The game was supposed to come out in March 2020, however, it was delayed to an undisclosed date in 2020, and then again to an unspecified date in 2021. CEO Ebba Ljungerud of Paradox explained the delay was due to personnel changes, the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, and a delay in getting development kits for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Not only was the game postponed beyond 2021 when a new development team was announced in February of that year, but in November of that year, Paradox Interactive stated that they were pleased with the development thus far but wanted more time before announcing a new release date.
On Twitter in July of 2022, Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester remarked, “Bloodlines is still in development and we will let you know more when we are ready.”

Starfield: The Game Awards have become an incredibly polished show as of late, excluding any last-minute stage crashers; yet, in terms of industry prominence, it is effectively the Oscars and E3 rolled into one; this is especially true given that E3 has been actively falling into dust.
"We are all here because we're committed to the biggest question of all: What's out there?"
Because of this, it was pretty strange to see Xbox not really have any sort of presence at the show at all, especially in comparison to competitors like PlayStation, which closed the show with a Final Fantasy XVI spot, and Nintendo, which had a movie star introduce a clip from the upcoming Mario film.
There's just one more day to vote for Starfield in the Most Anticipated Game category of @thegameawards!
The only advertisement for Xbox that I saw was a generic one that centered on Game Pass and ran during the program, but other than that, there wasn’t much else.
It is especially strange considering that 2023 is expected to be a big year for Xbox with the release of Redfall and Starfield.
Starfield
Furthermore, if Starfield is successful in the same way that other Bethesda titles, such as the mainline Fallout games and Elder Scrolls games, have been, then that game could theoretically be a contender for game of the year a year from now.
Thanks to your incredible enthusiasm, Starfield has been nominated for Most Anticipated Game at @thegameawards!
The name “gamer” has been around for more than six centuries, long before the advent of video games. Diablo 4 Will Be Released: On PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, pre-orders have begun. Blizzard Entertainment announced the June 6 release date for Diablo 4 at The Game Awards 2022. Diablo 4, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Diablo 3, will be available for pre-order on October 12 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
A new teaser for Diablo 4’s new features, including the magnificent open world of Sanctuary, was released by Blizzard to announce the release date. Blizzard’s creators hailed the game’s revamped setting as the “newest character” in an interview with Polygon.
Upon awakening in a cold cave, players in this vast, macabre, haunted Sanctuary must flee to a nearby settlement fortified against the terrifying animals that roam the region. Our preview calls it “a long cry from the brighter, cheerier graphical style of Diablo 3,” albeit Diablo 3 wasn’t exactly a Broadway musical.
Blizzard first stated that Diablo 4 would be released in 2022 during BlizzCon 2019, with a release date of 2022 widely accepted.

However, the developer provided no official release window until this summer. The publisher’s confrontation with sex discrimination and harassment charges in 2021 caused high staff turnover and the departure of two senior devs, putting the game’s release in jeopardy.
The Washington Post released an in-depth article on Thursday afternoon, just before the announcement of Diablo 4’s release, in which the studio was described as fearing the June deadline set by Activision’s leadership.
Recent Report Says: Diablo 4 Release Date is Not Possible Without Crunch
The Washington Post believes Blizzard has no plans to postpone the release of the game further. Developers on the project recently reported that a crunch will be necessary to have Diablo 4 out in June 2023.
Blizzard announced Diablo 4’s official release date of June 6 at this year’s Game Awards earlier this week. The Washington Post published an earlier today claiming to have spoken with 15 current and former Diablo 4 devs who all agreed that meeting that release date would be impossible without “substantial overtime.”
Diablo 4 Will Be Released
At this point, “they’re not willing to delay the game longer,” a current Blizzard Albany employee told The Washington Post. The team must agree on the level of personal sacrifice necessary to get the game out the door in a playable state.
The story claims that the Diablo team has been suffering from a steady exodus of members for over a year now as disgruntled workers leave for greener pastures. Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick blamed the decline in stock price on the postponement of Diablo 4 until 2023, rather than on the company’s many discrimination and harassment lawsuits.
“It seemed very much like he simply drove the bus over on top of us,” one former Diablo 4 team leader described the remark. The newest results from Blizzard Entertainment’s “frequent [surveys] the staff on their professional well-being are the most favorable they’ve been in years,” a company spokeswoman told The Washington Post.
On the other hand, a current employee at Blizzard Albany mentioned that they frequently put in 12-hour shifts. “It’s harmed my health, and it’s affected my relationships, both familiar and romantic,” the worker added. It interferes with my ability to take pleasure in life.
The complete report is worth reading to better understand the purported ongoing issues Blizzard is still encountering.

Also, Keanu Reeves will be reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand, as his voice was heard in the new trailer.
When the expansion launches sometime in 2019, it will be exclusive to next-gen platforms and PC. That could help CDPR avoid some of the main problems that marred the game’s original 2020 launch when it was also launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

What is a GONK cyberpunk?
The phrase “gonk” is a Cyberpunk slang word for a complete and utter moron. As evidence, we have Instagram. The phrase “gonk” stands out among the many slang terms used during the game. A gonk is essentially a fool or an imbecile. V’s use of slang can range from affectionate to cruel, depending on the context and the recipient of his words.
What should you not do on cyberpunk?
Nine times out of ten, you should not send that text. In Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll get text messages from a wide variety of characters on a wide variety of topics. As the number of communications you receive increases, you may find that you no longer have the time to read through them all. That’s a terrible idea.

Should I give Cyberpunk Skippyback?
If you decide to give Skippy to Regina, you’ll finish the quest and earn roughly $7,000. Though somewhat ineffective in Puppy-Loving Pacifist mode, Skippy’s Stone Cold Killer mode is where his true power lies, so keeping him around is advised if at all possible.
Should I give my body to Johnny Cyberpunk?
If you agree to let Johnny take over your body, he’ll go back to Earth, and the two of you can finish off any remaining side tasks as V. He, too, will leave Night City in quest of a new beginning. It’s a viable alternative for people in need of a solution.
