Several new cards for Genshin Impact’s TCG mode have been leaked ahead of the minigame’s initial update. Reports indicate that popular characters Beidou and Klee will be added to the TCG as playable characters in the upcoming Version 3.4 update.

After the first week of the game’s release, Patch 3.3 was updated to include a new playable character, and Cyno was made available to players. With this next patch, the TCG will finally receive its first round of balance changes.

Genshin Impact leaker Pengepul Teyvat recently revealed upcoming alterations to four Characters and an Event card for Version 3.4, including the as-yet-unreleased Beidou.

As a result, Yoimiya’s Elemental Burst will now cost 3 Energy instead of 2, and Collei’s Talent card’s cost will increase from 3 to 4 Dendro Dice. Before Beidou’s release, the price of her Burst will increase to match Yoimiya’s, and the damage of her Burst will decrease from 4 to 3.

Maguu Kenki’s Skill now deals no damage, and the Minty Meat Rolls Event card only lowers the cost of the following three attacks instead of all. Changes in Patch 3.4 will target the strongest decks appearing in the game’s early competitive meta.

Due to Dragon Age Day on December 4, BioWare released a thrilling in-game movie that featured chest hair king Varric Tethras as the lovable storyteller. The film seems to imply that Varric (and his crossbow Bianca) will return in Dreadwolf by recapping Solas and his objectives.

Forbidden West: Sony’s first major release of 2022 was Horizon: Forbidden West, which continued the story of protagonist Aloy’s adventures after the events of the first game.

Horizon Zero Dawn was a PC Success

Before Sony revealed Horizon Zero Dawn at E3 2015, Guerrilla was best known for making the Killzone games, which were a part of a famous IP that felt exhausted when Killzone: Shadow Fall came out in tandem with the PlayStation 4.

Elden Ring, the long-awaited new game from developer FromSoftware, completely eclipsed Horizon: Forbidden West upon its release, despite Horizon’s high quality and good sales.

Destiny 3 Release Date: Bungie recently severed ties with Activision and began independently developing their flagship series, Destiny. Ultimately, this choice benefited Bungie greatly, as Destiny 2 has been a successful commercial.

According to an interview with Japanese media outlet 4gamer, Bungie’s design director Jacob Benton stated that the studio is entirely dedicated to working on Destiny 2 and its upcoming expansion. The developers have big plans for Destiny, including adding new stories and content.

The Witch Queen is the title of the next chapter coming to Destiny 2 and will serve as the game’s climax. Lightfall, as mentioned by Jacob Benton, is the final chapter of Destiny 2.

This gives us a rough idea of when, if ever, we might see Destiny 3 on store shelves. So, let’s talk about when we might be able to get our hands on Destiny 3 and where.

Destiny 3 Release Date

In the interview, Jacob Benton said that a release date of 2022 was being considered for The Witch Queen. If this happens, we’ll have to wait another year or two before we can publish Lightfall, the book’s concluding chapter.

Destiny 3 Not Coming Until at Least 2024

The continued success of Destiny 2 is astounding. After splitting from Activision, Bungie refocused on Destiny 2 as a platform, with more minor updates every season and larger ones every year. However, fans of Bungie’s games want the developer to make a more substantial advance.

They’re looking forward to Destiny 3. Bungie has been commended for listening to its audience and acting on their feedback. A message has been sent out, and it’s unfortunate to report that Bungie has no plans for Destiny 3 until at least 2026.

Japanese gaming website 4gamer claims to have gotten this reply from Bungie’s director of design, Jacob Benton. Benton began by restating that, at the moment, Destiny 2 was the primary focus of Bungie’s efforts. Benton quickly clarified that there were no plans to abandon Destiny 2.

He then goes on to say that new content for Destiny 2, such as The Witch Queen and Lightfall, is still being developed by Bungie. Benton outlines Bungie’s current plans for Destiny 2, albeit only as a rough road map. He reveals that the release of The Witch Queen has been set for the year 2022.

Lightfall, the rumored name of Destiny 2’s expansion after The Witch Queen, is then mentioned as the game’s next chapter. However, Benton goes further. In his opinion, after Lightfall, Destiny 2 will still need another chapter.

Indeed, he makes it abundantly clear that Bungie intends for Destiny 2 to remain the vehicle for this narrative. Launching the currently planned Destiny 2 content at peak performance would take until 2024 if The Witch Queen is released in 2022 and subsequent significant expansions take a year or more to launch.

Unfortunately, 2025 is also out of the question because that is the possible release year Bungie has chosen for its new intellectual property.

A different Bungie team is indeed working on the new IP than the one responsible for Destiny 2, but that’s no reason to expect Bungie to release a game as massive as Destiny 3 in the same year it’s trying to remove the new IP.

While Benton doesn’t come right out and say that we won’t see Destiny 3 until at least 2026 or that it won’t be released, it’s not hard to infer Bungie’s intentions. It has planned out the plot of Destiny 2, including an ending. There is no way to reach that conclusion before 2024.

There is yet another Bungie game that could be released after that. There would be a window of opportunity for Bungie to begin development on Destiny 3 if the studio so desired.

But if Bungie plans to continue working on Destiny 2 DLCs past 2024, then even 2026 seems too soon for a Destiny 3 release. Destiny 3 is a massive undertaking that may take a long time to complete.

Furthermore, Bungie may wish to devote considerable time to the new IP, mainly if it is a service-based game, before returning to Destiny. The only particular fact about Destiny 3 is that it does not exist now.

Sonic the Hedgehog: In an interview with the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Sonic Team member Takashi Iizuka teased that 2023 will be an even bigger year for Sega’s long-running Sonic the Hedgehog series.

The Sonic Boom multimedia franchise is a good example; it resulted in the release of two games and the premiere of more than 100 episodes of an animated series.

Microsoft

If Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard is to go through in 2023, the biggest question is whether or not the FTC will be able to block it. If the deal goes through, Microsoft will overtake Sony as the largest video game publisher in the world, falling only behind the incredibly diverse Tencent.

Eventually, Halo, Minecraft, Doom, Fallout, Age of Empires, Sea of Thieves, Gears of War, Psychonauts, and Call of Duty would all be developed under the same roof at Xbox Game Studios, creating a bewildering number of tentpole gaming franchises.

Death Stranding Action Game: Those days of having an abundance of free time but a shortage of games to play are long gone. However, with the Director’s Cut finally available on Steam, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play through Death Stranding again.

As a longtime Koj-fan, I was eager to check out the PC version after playing the PS4 version, and I was not let down by the special editions of his games. In my experience, the game hadn’t evolved much since I last played it.

However, my surroundings irrevocably warped how I understood and felt about the event. The pandemic, which prompted introspection and fond memories, has made it impossible for any player to experience the game the same way they did before.

Even more baffling was the fact that I kept returning. One of the most striking things (and this is probably quite damning of me) about revisiting a game years after finishing it is how much I’ve forgotten.

Especially in the ones you remembered enjoying, a tiny moment would set off a sense of direction, and you’d eat it up as the old synapses in your brain fired again. Some aspects of Hideo Kojima’s games are taken for granted due to his free rein and the esteem he holds.

How Death Stranding uses music, and one band, in particular, is the sort of thing that would send fans of a Ubisoft game into a frenzy but is expected from Kojima Productions.

The majority of Death Stranding’s soundtrack is provided by the band Low Roar, whose songs range from coherent ballads about isolation and perseverance to delicate acoustic numbers and atmospheric mood pieces of distorted electronica.

Similarly miraculous is the band’s music’s contextual fit in the world. The way it is used, however, can still be breathtaking. There is a wind farm in Death Stranding, and it’s there that you’ll experience some of the game’s toughest challenges.

One of music’s many strengths is its ability to give depth and meaning to words, turning even the most mundane prose into something emotionally charged.

As you take in the scene and start your descent, this song strikes an odd balance between those who are coming and those who are going, as well as between those who are giving and those who are receiving.
