Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines 2: Paradox Interactive is releasing a sequel to their action role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The game is a continuation of the World of Darkness series and is based on the tabletop role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade, with which it shares a name. The majority of the action in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 takes place in the first person, with the perspective switching to the third for things like special attacks.

Before beginning the game, players create a vampire character and choose a character background that reflects who they were as a human, such as a barista (the default background, with no perks), or a career criminal, coroner, or police officer. There are optional quests for the player to complete outside of the main storyline that can be uncovered by simply playing around. The player has access to a mobile phone and can text non-playable persons for clues that will help them progress through the game and complete additional quests. As long as one is equipped with the right skills, one can use force, stealth, or even charm to overcome obstacles and overcome opposition.

In addition, there are five different groups that the player can join forces with. The player’s allies and adversaries are not based on their skills, but on their ideology. A player can join several different groups at once, and remain loyal or work against them from within; some groups may refuse to cooperate with the player depending on their behavior.

The player character, as a vampire, must subsist on blood and can do so by feeding on humans and draining some or all of their blood, or by using rats or blood bags. Vampires’ enhanced senses allow them to pick up on resonances in the blood of human victims, which can reveal their victims’ current emotional state such as fear, want, agony, rage, or joy. The player gains momentary advantages, such as increased melee strength or seduction ability, by feeding on certain resonances.

Consistently nourishing the same resonance can lead to irreversible improvements known as advantages. Soak is a vampire’s innate talent that protects them from ranged attacks and allows them to take some damage before they become incapacitated. They are able to deal more damage to humans because of their superhuman physical powers.

Players will suffer consequences if they use vampire powers in front of humans, as doing so will eventually tip off the authorities to their true nature. If the player repeatedly breaks the disguise, human citizens will start avoiding the streets and other vampires will start hunting them.

In-game, the protagonist’s humanity is measured in points. Killing innocents, for example, lowers a person’s Humanity score. The closer the player character gets to be a mindless beast, the lower their Humanity score.

In February of 2019, Paradox and Alice & Smith released their dating app “Tender,” which served as the first tease for the upcoming Bloodlines 2. The program claimed it could utilize the user’s blood type and a “soulmate algorithm” to pair them with nearby sick people.

The fictional CEO of Tender, Malcolm Chandler, sent out note warning employees to be ready for the game’s unveiling on March 21, 2019, in San Francisco, which was shown on a Twitch Livestream and then on Paradox’s official Twitter account.

Strange New GTA: Vanilla Ice, Kim Basinger, and Danny Glover. When 505 Games announced its colourful multiplayer heist game Crime Boss: Rockay City at last night’s The Game Awards, I thought I was suffering a stroke. Time was winding down.

It was clear from the trailer that this was not a new instalment in Rockstar Games’ open-world smash hit Grand Theft Auto, but the similarities were striking. It’s actually a PC game I haven’t heard of before, developed by a company I’ve never heard of, and featuring an entirely unrelated group of Hollywood actors and actresses who were cast just for this project.

Michael Madsen, known for his roles in Reservoir Dogs and Donnie Brasco, plays Travis Baker, a want to be Florida kingpin who engages in “a series of turf fights, robberies, and strange side stories” in Crime Boss.

Crime Boss is an online PvE shooter extravaganza where you team up with random people from the internet to pull off heists in the spirit of Payday 2. BOTW 2: Has it been this long since we got any news about the upcoming Zelda game? Thankfully, today’s Nintendo Direct provided us with yet another look at Nintendo’s upcoming action-adventure game to tide us over until its 2019 release. Known as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it will be released on May 13, 2023.

It’s worth noting that, even though many of us will likely continue to refer to the game as Breath of the Wild 2 for quite some time, that is not its official name. After all, it appears to be directly related to the prior free-roaming game.

Oddly, the game’s title was revealed thus late because for a long time Nintendo said that revealing the “true” name of the upcoming BotW game would reveal too much about the plot. So, any educated guesses, folklorists, as to what the title might refer to?

Death Stranding 2: Several returning cast members were confirmed in conjunction with the much-anticipated unveiling of Death Stranding 2 at The Game Awards 2022. Although Lea Seydoux’s Fragile was the primary focus of the trailer, viewers also got a glance at Norman Reedus’s Sam Bridges and Troy Baker’s Higgs in their updated costumes.

In Death Stranding, Timefall has previously been experienced by one character: Fragile, who tried to stop Higgs from destroying South Knot City but had it afflict her entire body save for her face. Considering the importance placed on Fragile in the announcement trailer, it’s probable that Timefall may play a bigger role in Death Stranding 2’s plot.

Sam’s presence in Death Stranding is artificial, just like Snake’s was in Metal Gear. After his father, Cliff, tried to save him from Bridges’ experiments, he, like the other initial Bridge Babies, tragically lost his life. When Amelie revived Sam on the shore, he became a repatriation, a person who can prevent dying by returning home.

The capacity to cheat death comes at a price, and that price may be premature ageing for those who are repatriated. This would shed light on the unexplained elements of repatriation and the beach, while also explaining Sam’s age difference.

Sam also has DOOMS, a disorder that causes him to feel an affinity for the hereafter. His accelerated ageing from DOOMS is one possible cause, albeit it is not directly related to his status as a repatriation.

Similar to how excessive amounts of worry in the real world can lead a person to appear older than they are, the tension induced by the nightmares DOOMS produces could have led him to look older than he is. It doesn’t matter what sets things in motion, it will play a major role in Death Stranding 2.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon: Even though FromSoftware only launched Elden Ring in February of this year, the studio announced its next major project, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, in a video shown at The Game Awards.

It will hit shelves in 2023. Given the vague nature of the Armored Core VI video, which mainly consisted of lengthy close-ups of enormous mechs, it’s hard to speculate on the game’s specifics.

The trailer does a great job of setting the ambiance, and I can only hope that it accurately reflects the experience of playing the game. Following its release next year, Armored Core VI will be playable on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Since Armored Core V was launched in 2012, more than a decade ago, this game has been a long time coming for fans of the Armored Core series. Red Barrels released Trials’ third overall trailer on August 23, 2022, as part of Gamescom 2022, when they announced registration for a closed beta that took place between October 28 and November 1, 2022.

The next Sims game has not been allocated a release date or year by Electronic Arts. It’s safe to infer that The Sims 5 won’t be released until at least 2024, given that Maxis launched it as Project Rene in October 2022 and that it will reveal inside glimpses at development “over the next few years.”

In addition, after The Sims 5 is released, developers at Maxis anticipate the game to remain popular with players for some time. It appears that Electronic Arts is banking on the “next generation” of The Sims being just as popular, if not more so than The Sims 4, which was released in 2014.

• Streamlining modular furniture, including decorative accessories
• Rotation on several axes, at least for decorative elements

Fans of Build Mode will be pleased to hear that Create-A-Style has returned, especially since modular parts have been added to the mode.

Previously, it has been shown that players will be able to change out components such as a bed’s headboard and footboard independently, as well as alter patterns and colours.

Additionally, in the first Project Rene video, we saw a lot of throw pillows and blankets being used as accents, which is an advancement over the older version of the styling tool.

The phrase “social interactions and competitiveness” in Wilson’s answer is quite intriguing, but we need more information about it before we can draw any conclusions.

When they bring up the phrase “The Sims Online,” it makes us question if EA and Maxis are actually going for a new massively multiplayer Sims game. However improbable it may seem, the next Sims game will definitely have online multiplayer.

Will Sims 5 support mods and custom content?

In any case, we can only speculate, but we do know that the Sims games have a rich history of player-generated material.

With the continued success of Sims 4 mods, The Sims 4 now has official mod support in the form of a CurseForge hub, and it’s hard to think that Maxis won’t take the same route with Sims 5, allowing for a plethora of user-created content.

The question of whether this will be included in the original release of The Sims 5 or will be added at a later date is now unanswered.

Are there any Sims 5 leaks in the wild?

While The Sims 5 may be a ways off, there are already cracks in this specific bucket. In November of 2022, a Reddit thread from a now-deleted account published several monitor shots of early Sims 5 playtest games, marking the first genuine leaks of the game.

Those pictures have been shared all over the internet, including on Twitter. Despite the fact that it’s important to treat any rumours with scepticism, the fact that the Sims 5’s UI in these photographs is consistent with the reveal makes them more likely to be true.

Those are the only features confirmed for The Sims 5, although fans can speculate about what more may be included.  In September 2022, industry insider Jeff Grubb remarked on his Giant Bomb programme that it isn’t ideal for a new numbered entry in the series to start from scratch every time and that EA has been investigating a different method for the next game.

Grubb speculated that future instalments of The Sims, like other major numbered sequels, might have a new method of development. And I believe that demographic would be eager to participate in such an endeavour with that game.

The most recent works are the work of one of many content providers for The Sims 4, however, one author stands out as very skilled. There are several Dragon Age: Inquisition-inspired setups in The Sims 4.

KawaiiFoxita, a visual architect, has recently shared many works on Twitter that take inspiration from Dragon Age: Inquisition. The official BioWare Twitter account liked her tweet. There are four pictures in the KawaiiFoxita article that has attracted the attention of Dragon Age aficionados. The first picture is a carbon copy of the postcard advertising Sera’s Nook in Dragon Age: Inquisition; it depicts a lovely interior space with high windows, a smattering of pillows on plush seating, a handful of books and paintings, and much more.

Of course, it’s not a one-to-one recreation, but that only makes it more astounding, considering how little stuff there is in The Sims 4. All the pictures look like they were taken in Dragon Age: Inquisition, so realistic are they. Many additional Dragon Age–themed things made in The Sims 4 have been developed by KawaiiFoxita, despite the fact that only a single tweet containing four new photographs has been circulating around.

The third image appears to depict the peaceful countryside outside the Inquisition’s first stronghold in the Haven area of the third Dragon Age game, where the bulk of the opening action takes place. The Sims 4’s homages are so faithful that you might mistake them for official assets from the source material.

Especially Sera’s room, with all the objects like the lute lying scattered all over the place, we can only assume a lot of time and attention must have gone into getting these locations just right in The Sims 4. When BioWare‘s next game does arrive, I hope this artist will give the environments and Sim 4 a revamp for Dragon Age 4.

There was recent talk that the next role-playing game in the series might be released in 2023, exclusive to next-gen consoles. Even though we have to wait a lot longer to go back to Thedas, we have Inquisition and other works like this to keep us satisfied in the meanwhile.

Elden Ring Colosseum Update: FromSoftware confirmed this week that the long-rumoured colosseum content for Elden Ring is true, and it will be included in a free update that will be released on December 7th.

While information is limited at present, a teaser clip released alongside the announcement gave players a taste of the update’s primary focus: player-against-player (PvP) battles. Months of rumours about FromSoftware’s plans for the colosseum have been put to rest with this statement and the details to come.

The following trailer for the Colosseum Upgrade hints at the several new sorts of PvP games that will be available in Elden Ring once the update is released. Combat between players in Elden Ring, and by extension, other SoulsBorne games, has traditionally been somewhat ad hoc and unstructured.
