On March 28, 343 Industries published an update for Halo Infinite that fixed several problems and added gameplay changes. The update is accessible on all platforms, and the patch notes offer a comprehensive list of changes, such as menu enhancements, multiplayer, Forge, and playlist adjustments.

The update’s main highlights are enhanced PC Customization menu stability and a decreased chance of encountering “rubber banding” or “jittering” when interacting with ambient items on multiplayer maps. A smoother gaming experience is provided by the update’s improved stability when players are respawning during multiplayer games on Xbox Series X|S consoles.

A high-impact problem that improperly restricted the number of Script Brains that could be placed on a map has been fixed, and the Forge mode has received particular attention in this release. • A crash that happened when too many navigation and objective indications were displayed on the screen at once was fixed.

Forge

The high-impact problem that unjustly restricted the amount of Script Brains that could be put on a map is fixed by today’s release. For further details on this problem and the cure, see the developer notes below:

• What happened: To lessen the “Dedicated Server Failed to Load” issues, Season 3 implemented a budget check whenever a player submitted node-graph material.

1. This check will stop you from adding nodes, duplicating nodes, or adding new connections if your map already has excessive “node-graph entities” (nodes + contacts + attributes).
2. This led to a viable global budget of roughly 200–250 nodes per map following the Season 3 update, which is a relatively low ceiling based on our own analysis and support tickets.

• What’s changing: This patch has increased the Nodegraph Entity limit from 800 to 2048.

1. Any map that was functional during the Winter Update should now be editable by the majority of players.
2. Maps shouldn’t encounter the duplication limit or the “Dedicated Server Failed to Load” error until scripts have 512 nodes or less.

• Please be aware: Please be aware that this budget check served as a temporary solution for Season 3 until we added more Node Graph budgeting components in a subsequent version. With this patch, we’ve decided to provide advanced scripters access to the tool, even though this will result in them encountering the annoying Winter Update bug more frequently.

1. Maps with many scripts and art content may still see the “Dedicated Server Failed to Load” issues that were present during the Winter Update since we have eased the budget checks.
2. The entity limit that leads to the failure to load problem will be replaced by actual budget checks against the restrictions.

This patch also addresses the following issues:

• Now, players may reliably load earlier iterations of their Forge maps.
• Players can now connect a single node to numerous execution nodes related to various scripts while modifying a Node Graph in Forge with several hands starting with event nodes.
• Primitive sphere items in Forge that had been relocated due to the Season 3 update have been put back where they belonged.
• After applying the patch, Forge designers who attempted to move affected elemental spheres back to their original positions may need to do so again, according to a tweet from @HaloSupport.
• Choosing a file from the My Bookmarks menu no longer selects the previous map when choosing a map for Forge on PC.
• Players no longer need to hold down the directional input when rotating an object in Forge with the Rotation Snap option set to 15 degrees or greater; instead, they can rapidly press the appropriate directional information.

Playlist Changes

On March 28, 2023, updates to the matchmaking playlists for Quick Play, Fiesta, and Tactical Slayer also occurred. Community users used Forge to create the new maps added to the Quick Play and Fiesta playlists. Hades 2 has no release date quite yet. But it looks like the team has been working on it since early 2021, and just like the first, it will be released first in early access. The first Hades was in early access for almost two years, but we know that a slightly bigger team is working on Hades 2 from the start so that this game may reach version 1.0 a bit faster.

Hades 2 Platforms

Hades 2 is scheduled to come out on PC and consoles, but it wasn’t clear which consoles. We can probably assume that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are in the works, but the fate of last-generation systems and the Switch is still unknown. Only PCs can play the game during the early access period.

Hades 2 Trailer

The stylish and well-animated trailer for Hades 2 shows us Melinoe, the Princess of the Underworld and an immortal witch. She is the new main character. She is also based on a mythological figure because she is the brother of Zagreus, the main character in the first game.

It will be a direct follow-up to what happened in Hades, but it will have its own story. You’ll find some interesting links if you know about the first game or Greek mythology.

Melinoe is on a mission to free Zeus from Chronos, the Titan of Time. Chronos, Hades, and other gods have escaped the Underworld to start a war against the Gods of Olympus. Melinoe is trying to stop them.

Hades 2 Gameplay

The trailer shows some gameplay that resembles the first one. The view and basic flow of clearing rooms, choosing between gods’ gifts, and using special attacks look like they will return. Also, you will do many runs with rooms and enemies that change every time.

Melinoe is a witch, so Hades 2 will have a broader range of spells and melee options. There were also hints at interactions in the hub world, which were a big part of Hades. Once again, you can talk to different characters and learn more about them.

No other returning features like decorations, building relationships, changing the difficulty, or other challenges were shown, but they are likely to come back in some form.

The story of Dead Island 2 starts on an evacuation plane, where you and a group of other survivors are being taken away from the dangerous streets of Los Angeles. But if your plane crashes, you must figure out how to escape the wreckage independently. Then, during a fight with a zombie, your character gets bitten.

When you don’t become a monster, you realize you must be immune to the virus that makes other people become nightmares. Now, you have to find a way to find other survivors and cut a path through the deserted city so you can call the government and get everyone rescued.

Dead Island 2 Gameplay

Dead Island 2 significantly changes everything we know and love about the first game. First, the map has been broken into what game director David Stenton calls “districts.” The combat still focuses on close-quarters hacking and slashing, but the experience has significantly changed since 2011.

We’ve had the chance to play the game’s test build twice, starting with our first hands-on with Dead Island 2. From this, we could already tell how carefully Dambuster had worked on the FLESH system. The gruesome, anatomically accurate graphics try to bring back the humor and disgust of 80s horror, giving a very scary game some much-needed humor.

You will collect skill cards to add to your deck, letting you build a set of abilities you can change whenever you want. Thanks to the “symphony of the combat sandbox,” Stenton talked about in our most recent Dead Island 2 preview and interview with Dambuster, you can improve your play style. In Dead Island 2, the setting is a very bloody Los Angeles. Warhammer 40k Boltgun is an upcoming first-person shooter (FPS) game set in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, but it looks like it was made in the mid-1990s. Warhammer 40k In Boltgun, players step into the shoes of a ceramic-armored Space Marine and have to kill hordes of Chaos Space Marines, cultists, and daemons. Classic shooters from the 1990s, like Doom, Quake, and Unreal, inspired the retro style.

It starts with a live-action video of a person moving taped boxes out of a bedroom that is otherwise empty. A big box that says “JAMIE’S STUFF 1999” clarifies that these are old things from their childhood being moved out of their parent’s house.

When they open the box, they find things from the 1990s, like a magic eight ball, a slinky, and an old box of Chaos Space Marine figures on top of a stack of White Dwarf magazines. They remove a small group of Space Marines from 1998 and a Land Raider battle tank.

Finally, they pull out a blue floppy disc for the Warhammer 40k game: Boltgun: If you’re young enough to have never seen a floppy disc, it held one megabyte of data, was used to sell software and transfer files between computers, and is the inspiration for the “save” icon.

Warhammer 40k: Boltgun didn’t exist in the 1990s, the short gameplay video shows it has a very 90s look, with pixel art, low-poly 3D environments, wild gunfire, and a heavy metal score.

Warhammer 40k Boltgun Weapons

Here are the Warhammer 40K Boltgun weapons shown in the trailer or usable in the preview build:

Boltgun

A Space Marine’s standard weapon is a “boltgun” or “bolter.” The bolter looks like a blocky assault rifle but shoots rocket-propelled grenades that explode when they hit their target. This is why it makes such a huge mess of its targets.

Power-ups that are hard to find can temporarily make the boltgun even more dangerous. The gun’s power will increase as long as Kraken bolter shells are in the hopper.

Space Marine Shotgun

The Space Marine shotgun does precisely what you’d expect from a gun: it messes up enemies close up. It can only be reloaded one shell at a time, which makes it unreliable in an emergency, but it’s great for putting enemies in their place when they’re close.

Meltagun

The plasmagun is an energy weapon with a lot of power. It fires slowly but is very dangerous. This weapon can also be used by traitor Guardsmen and cultists, making it a real threat to your Space Marine hero.

Capcom has a few games that are all about dinosaurs. You might think about Monster Hunter or even Dino Crisis. But the Capcom team is working on a brand new play about dinosaurs. The studio is currently making a game called Exoprimal.

If you’ve seen the trailers, you know this game has a lot of dinosaur killing. In the game, we’ll be thrown into the not-too-distant future of 2040. Exoprimal occurs soon, but the main goal is to stop these hungry dinosaurs and save people.

Exoprimal is said to be a multiplayer game, so you and some friends can play together in this player-versus-player-versus-environment title. We know that the game is about Exofighters, a group of warriors whose job is to fight off random dinosaurs that come out of a rift portal.

With these portals, dinosaurs will flood the area, wreaking havoc and endangering people’s lives. There will be a class-based system for the exosuit armor that players can choose from. With these exosuits, players can become more of a tank, protect their teammates, or play as a supporting character to help their group.

No matter your class, the game’s goal is to fight off the dinosaurs and finish tasks before the other team does. When Exoprimal comes out in 2023, players can look forward to a lot of action.

Exoprimal Release Date: What Platforms Will Exoprimal Release On?

Exoprimal, a new dinosaur shooter from Capcom, will come out on July 14th, 2023. If you want to play a game where you shoot dinosaurs, you probably already have the hardware you need.

Exoprimal is coming out on almost every central platform, including PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The only platform left out is the Switch, but by 2023, even the PS4 and Xbox One will be very old, so it would be too much to ask of the Switch, which is a handheld/console hybrid.

New Stadiums

Until the release date of MLB The Show 23, many players have been wondering if any new stadiums would be added to this year’s game. Developers recently said that MLB The Show 23 would have six new stadiums, most of which will be for the historic Negro League mode.

New Legends

Another event that every MLB season looks forward to is The Show is finding out which legendary players will be in the game. Most of the legends named so far are from the Negro League. Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige, both in the Hall of Fame, lead the way.

When a Co-Op game starts, each player takes on a different role, like the batter, the pitcher, or the fielder. Developers in MLB The Show 23 promised to improve the mode and add ranked co-op so that friends can work together to reach season-long goals instead of just teaming up for casual online matches.

MLB Rule Changes

MLB The Show has done a great job over the years of keeping up with rule changes in Major League Baseball. With the universal DH rule as one of the new features of MLB The Show 23, pitchers will no longer hit in the AL or NL.

Fans of Shohei Ohtani will like that 2-way player are more helpful than ever because the rating system has been changed to fit these versatile MLB stars. Other rule changes, like a ban on extreme shifts, are also in MLB The Show 23, but more extensive bases will have to wait for future updates.

PCI Changes & Swing Feedback

How to Hit in MLB Timing has always been an essential part of Show 23, but it’s unclear what the Plate Coverage Indicator (PCI) means. This year, the fly ball and ground ball indicators have been removed from the batting cursor to make it easier to use.

Also, the PCI indicator can be made less scary by putting a bat icon in the strike zone to show where perfect contact is possible. The after-pitch swing feedback for PCI placement and timing on-screen has also been greatly improved. This makes it easier to understand what makes for an ideal swing.

The Negro National League

The most attention has been paid to the Negro League Storylines more than any other new feature in MLB The Show. The game’s creators have worked for years to include this vital part of baseball history as fully as possible.

In the new Storylines story, which will take place across different game modes, you can play as a lot of Negro National League stars from the 1920s to the 1940s, when segregation was the norm.

When co-founder Justin Roiland left the company because he was being investigated on charges of domestic battery and false imprisonment, developer Squanch Games promised to update High on Life.

At the time, it was unclear in what form the updates would appear, but now that they have been teased, it is clearer how they will look.

A brief eight-second teaser with the title High on Knife written in what appears to be blood and some spilling off-camera was posted on the game’s official Twitter account.

The fact that the image only contains a title and the caption “High on Life content is coming soon” indicates that the image is meant to be a game update or downloadable content.

Given the theme, one might assume that the new material would be horror-related, but since High on Life is a game that focuses on making ridiculous jokes, it is more likely to be humorous than frightening.

But some people have reacted unenthusiastically to the announcement. No one asked for the content, according to the top comment in response, which claims to speak for everyone.

The one below it criticizes High on Life for continuing to develop this content despite the base game’s lack of proper completion due to a lack of localization, and other comments refer to Roiland’s accusations.

Users who are more enthusiastic about the update speculate that it may be about Knifey, a character who appears early in the story of High on Life and who some feel was underused despite being introduced early in the game.

High on Life may find it difficult to separate itself from Roiland’s involvement, but whatever High on Knife turns out to be will give the game a chance to permanently sever this link.

If it succeeds while demonstrating to be a significant update to the game, it would be encouraging for Squanch Game’s future as it tries to move past a problematic individual who was once very involved in the business.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has added another gameplay trailer for Tekken 8 featuring King’s return to the ring. King inflicts pain in Tekken 8 with a variety of professional wrestling moves, which were famously inspired by the legendary Japanese wrestler Tiger Mask.

The gameplay trailer made public by Bandai Namco Entertainment showcases the character’s new appearance along with clips of him making his trademark point and cutting commercials.

Popular moves like the Atomic Drop, Frankensteiner, Wristlock, Knee Cross Lock, Choke Slam, Power Bomb, Suplex, Back Slam, STF, Boston Crab, Russian Leg Sweep, Giant Swing, and German Suplex are included in the character’s updated “catch” move set.

Tekken 8 is a follow-up to 2017’s Tekken 7 and is currently in development for the Sony PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It features an upgraded aesthetic powered by Unreal Engine.

The ongoing release of trailers and gameplay previews has increased interest in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Players relived the village sequence, one of the most iconic scenes in both Resident Evil and video game history, in Capcom’s Oct. 2022 gameplay trailer.

According to interviews with producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, the main plot may undergo minor changes to better fit with other films in the franchise. There will be additional side quests that are exclusive to the remake, even though the game will retain a lot of the original’s content.

Depending on the difficulty and level of experience, the base game will still take 15 hours to complete; however, a completionist run will likely take closer to 30 hours.
