Global sales for Dragon’s Dogma 2 have reached over 2.5 million copies on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The company behind the game, Capcom, shared this news in a press release on their investor page.

This achievement means that altogether, the Dragon’s Dogma series has sold more than 10 million copies across all platforms.

The sequel, which fans have been waiting for, was released last month on March 22. It’s impressive that the game managed to sell so many copies in less than two weeks.

Capcom said in the press release, “Worldwide sales of Dragon’s Dogma 2 have surpassed 2.5 million units.” The Dragon’s Dogma series is known for its action-packed fantasy world where players can explore freely.

Ever since the first game came out in 2012, people have loved its unique features like the “pawn” companions who can act on their own.

Since the game came out, players on PC have been busy creating mods to enhance their experience.

These mods include things like changing stamina, adjusting the camera, and adding ray tracing for better graphics. Capcom also released an update last week, making improvements to things like DLSS quality and fixing bugs.

When we reviewed the game, we praised its exciting combat, beautiful graphics, and the vast world to explore. However, we also pointed out that it didn’t improve much on the weaknesses of the original game.

Still, Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers about 40 hours of fun gameplay with its exploration, combat, and visuals. Just don’t expect a deep storyline like some other fantasy games.

The Palworld hype is getting even bigger with the announcement of Palworld GO entering its early access open beta in three specific countries. This mobile game is a version of the popular console and PC game, made for smartphones and tablets. It’s going to be available on both Android and iOS devices.

According to Game Rant, the early access beta for Palworld GO will only be in three places to start with. The game’s developer, Pocket Pair, wants to test how well the game works on mobile before letting everyone play it.

The beta will start in Zanarkand, Yharnam, and New Jersey. Gamers in these areas will get a chance to try out the game early.

Though it’s not clear how exactly Palworld GO will play, some hints from Game Rant suggest that players might have to visit real-life places in their area to earn rewards for their pals, palspheres, and ammo. These spots will be called Pal Stops in the game.

One interesting thing about Palworld GO is that players can find and hatch eggs of different pals by walking around. But there’s a twist: the eggs only hatch when you walk backward.

Some special landmarks in the game will let players team up to fight tough pals together. These battles are called Incursions and feature rare pals like Necromus and Shadowbeak.

Palworld has been a big hit since it came out in January, selling 15 million copies and being part of Xbox Game Pass. While some people thought Palworld was just “Pokemon with guns,” it won fans by putting its own spin on the idea.

Players didn’t like how hard it was to start a new game, the frame rate dropped often, and there were microtransactions. Capcom, the game’s maker, listened to players and promised to fix things. And they kept their word by releasing updates for all platforms, including Xbox Series X and S.

The update fixes many player complaints, like microtransactions and frame rate issues. On Xbox Series X and S, players can now turn Motion Blur on or off and limit the frame rate to 30 FPS.

Only Xbox Series X players can turn Ray Tracing on or off, though. But Capcom says these changes shouldn’t mess up the game’s frame rate too much, and they’re planning to make things even better.

The update also adds more “Art of Metamorphosis” items to the game and fixes bugs and text problems. Plus, it lets players get their own home earlier in the game.

In Cyberpunk 2077, one downside is that after completing quests for companions or love interests, we might not see them much anymore.

But, there’s good news! A modder named ‘deceptious’ made some mods that let us spend more time with our favorite characters, like Judy and Jackie Welles.

These mods add new quests to the game. For example, one called ‘New Quest – One More Light’ starts after attending Jackie’s memorial. After installing the mod, wait about 36 hours, and you’ll get a text from Mama Welles.

This leads to an emotional talk with Jackie, where you catch up on what’s been happening. After that, you can visit Jackie whenever you want.

For those who romanced Judy, there are two mods: ‘New Quest – Californication’ and ‘New Quest – Hot Fuzz.’ The first happens after the game’s end if you convince Judy to stay in Night City. You’ll watch the sunset together at the dam and end with a hug and a visit to her place.

‘Hot Fuzz’ adds another steamy scene with Judy at a nearby motel, with her MaxTac uniform involved. It’s spicy stuff!

In the game Honkai Star Rail, there’s a new character called Gallagher. He’s a 4-star character who hasn’t been released yet. Gallagher is special because he uses the Fire element, and he’s the third character like this in the game.

Bethesda’s tweet about the game brought a lot of joy to fans. It’s a big deal because there hasn’t been much news about the game for years. Some people thought Bethesda was focusing on another game called Starfield instead.

After this update, fans are hopeful that The Elder Scrolls VI might come out sooner than expected, maybe even next year or in 2025. But neither Bethesda nor Xbox has said when the game will be released or what consoles it will be for.

Some of the highlights of the event include:

• Cool spy-themed skins for characters like Lifeline, Ballistic, and Crypto.
• A new universal Heirloom Weapon that any legend can use.
• The Cobalt Deathbox gives your death box a special look, similar to the Cobalt Katar melee weapon.

To get these cosmetics, you’ll need to open special Event Packs. The price of these packs changes depending on how many you’ve opened already. The first pack is free, but the price goes up as you open more.

In addition to the cool stuff you can buy, there are also Milestone Rewards you can earn by opening Event Packs. These rewards include things like weapon charms, holo sprays, and emotes.

Once Season 2 ends, the game developers will take the servers down on purpose to bring in the next update. During this time, players won’t be able to log in or play any matches. This maintenance usually lasts about five hours.

In Helldivers 2, players have a new mission called Operation Swift Disassembly. Instead of fighting bugs, we’re now taking on the deadly Automatons to liberate Troost.

People aren’t too excited about fighting the Automatons because they’re tough opponents. But some players are hopeful that this mission will get bug-squashing fans to join in. They’re calling on fellow players to help out and fight the bots.

Luckily, there’s been a recent update to fix some freezing issues in the game. This makes it easier to use weapons like the Arc Shotgun, Arc Thrower, and Tesla Tower, which are great for fighting the Automatons.

This free trial includes the latest version of Cyberpunk 2077 with the Phantom Liberty expansion. The game has been updated to version 2.0, which has big changes like new skill trees and perks, vehicle fights, a new police system, and more.

Also, players can try out Update 2.1, which adds a working metro system, the ability to listen to in-game radio stations without being in a car, new vehicles, and more. If players like what they experience during the trial, they can continue from where they left off if they decide to buy the full game.

In the trial, players will notice some improvements from the 2.0 update. For example, instead of police magically appearing when you break the law, you’ll see officers patrolling the streets realistically.

If you do something wrong and people see it, the police will be alerted, and you’ll have to avoid them until they stop looking for you.

Also, now you can fight from your vehicle like in GTA games. While driving, you can use a pistol or revolver to shoot at enemies.

It’s easier if you let the game automatically aim for you, but you can also aim manually if you prefer. If you get a vehicle with mounted weapons, like miniguns or mini-rocket launchers, it can be even more powerful, but aiming them can be tricky.

A special Xbox device, similar to the one Microsoft will soon release, was found in South Korea. Microsoft hasn’t said anything about a new Xbox yet, but Sony might release a stronger PlayStation soon. This could make Xbox want to make their new console.

Usually, companies announce new consoles in the summer and release them later in the year. So, we might hear about a new Xbox soon.

When WWE 2K24 launches, you’ll find about 250 Superstars you can play with. Later this year, they’ll release 33 more Superstars you can get if you want.

There’s been a lot of talk lately about the next Assassin’s Creed game, and a game tester has shared some new details about it, giving us a sneak peek into what’s to come with Assassin’s Creed Red.

Assassin’s Creed Red will take us to feudal Japan, where we’ll follow the story of a male samurai, possibly inspired by Yasuke, and a female shinobi named Naoi/Naoe. Like other Assassin’s Creed games, it will involve assassins battling the Templar Order, but the unique setting of feudal Japan is expected to breathe new life into the series.

PC_Focus on Twitter shared insights from a game tester, offering hints about the plot, gameplay, and even a possible release date. The game is set from 1450 onwards and features multiple time jumps, starting with a village under attack.

Players can choose to play as the male or female character, each with their backstory, although switching between them will only be possible in specific shelters.

Gameplay-wise, parkour will be a major focus, with improvements reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed Unity. You’ll be able to navigate cities without touching the ground much, and grip will play a key role in parkour and climbing. Challenges and puzzles will also test your parkour skills.

The map in Red is said to be bigger than Assassin’s Creed Valhalla but smaller than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which means it’s still going to be massive.

In terms of gameplay, there are many new features expected, like the ability to lie down and hide in tall grass, use a grappling hook, hide in shadows, and put out lights to your advantage.

You’ll be able to switch between a male samurai and a female shinobi named Naoi. Naoi can use weapons like kunai, shuriken, smoke bombs, and bells. There might be more weapons, including gunners called Ashigaru.

Combat is said to be improved, with posture bars to destabilize enemies, and NPCs that can defend themselves better, making fights more challenging.
