As fans of Hoyoverse’s intriguing gameplay, we thoroughly enjoyed Genshin Impact on PC, smartphone, and PlayStation. However, our excitement grows as we await news of its impending release on the Switch.

With the Switch version’s teaser already making waves, we hope the release date isn’t too far away. Perhaps a few prayers to the archons could hasten its arrival. While every trip must come to an end, the idea of going on this new voyage is simply alluring!

Is Genshin Impact on Switch?

On March 18, 2024, a report from Famitsu, a Japanese gaming outlet, mentioned that the official teaser website for the Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact wasn’t working for a while. But now, it’s back up and running, although there haven’t been any changes to the site. The release date for the Switch version still says “to be determined.”

Neither miHoYo nor Genshin Impact X (formerly Twitter) have said anything about the website being down. If you’re excited about the Switch version of the game, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for more news.

Back on January 14, 2020, HoYoVerse announced that they were making a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact. But since then, there haven’t been any updates or footage about it, even though it’s been over four years.

Right now, you can play Genshin Impact on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. The Nintendo Switch version is still in the works, but we don’t know when it’ll be released. Version 4.5 came out on March 13, 2024, and it introduced a new character named Chiori.

We knew it was going to happen, but we didn’t know exactly when. Now, Square Enix has just said that Final Fantasy XIV Online is already on Xbox starting March 21st, after finishing its open beta that’s been happening since last month.

This week, there are already some fantastic games coming to Game Pass. You don’t want to miss Lightyear Frontier, which comes out on the 19th.

The game will be available at 1 am (PDT) and you can get it from the Microsoft Store in different versions.

Final Fantasy XIV Online Xbox Release Date

This week is a big one for Final Fantasy XIV Online as it officially launches on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. It’s moving out of its testing phase, called “beta,” and will be available in six different versions on the Microsoft Store starting this Thursday.

To be precise, Final Fantasy XIV Online was already released at 1 am PT / 4 am ET / 8 am GMT on March 21st. From this time, everyone can download the free trial version, and there will also be five paid versions for sale on the Xbox Store.

   • For new players.

Recently, Rockstar released the first update for Red Dead Redemption 2 in almost two years. This update fixes a problem with horses that players have been dealing with for a long time.

The main thing this Update 1.32 focuses on is fixing a glitch with the stables. Players were having trouble entering stables across the map, getting stuck in doorways, glitching through walls, and not being able to leave.

This problem first showed up in the September 2022 update, and players had to restart their games to try to fix it, but that didn’t always work. Thankfully, Update 1.32 has finally solved this issue.

The update also brings some graphical improvements for PC players, including support for Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) version 2.2 and the ability to play in 3200×2400 resolution.

Stability and performance have been enhanced on all platforms, meaning fewer crashes. In the game itself, starting Free Roam Missions is less likely to cause problems, and Naturalist samples will now count towards daily challenges.

The Plunderstorm game mode in World of Warcraft is all about fast-paced PvP action with a pirate theme. You start fresh each time and quickly gain new spells and abilities as you go.

In Plunderstorm, there are no set classes or builds like in regular WoW. Instead, you have to adapt on the fly using whatever you find in the game. This makes every match different and exciting, even if you’re not usually into PvP.

Plunderstorm takes place on its special map, the Arathi Highlands. You can get new spells and abilities by defeating creatures and looting chests scattered around the map.

Each Plunderstorm match can have up to 60 players, and they’re over pretty quickly, usually lasting between 10 to 15 minutes. The goal is to be the last party or person standing at the end of the match to win the game!

How to Play World of Warcraft Plunderstorm?

After the 10.2.6 update, which came out on March 19, 2024, you’ll notice a new “Plunderstorm” icon when you log into the main menu of World of Warcraft. Clicking on this icon will take you to the battle royale mode.

In Plunderstorm, unlike regular WoW, you can team up with friends before starting the game. There’s a new invite tab in the menu that lets you invite your friends to join you in the action. As of now, you can choose to play solo or with a friend in duo mode. Blizzard hasn’t mentioned anything about playing with larger groups yet.

The long-awaited 1.6 update for Stardew Valley is finally here for players on PC through Steam and GOG. According to a post on the Stardew Valley Discord page, the update should also be available on Microsoft’s PC Game Pass by Tuesday.

But what about players on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices? They’ll have to wait a little longer.

Developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone started hinting about the 1.6 update back in 2023, and fans of Stardew Valley have been eagerly waiting for it ever since. The game hadn’t seen any updates for a few years until the 1.5 patch came out in 2020.

While PC players can dive right into the new content, those on consoles and mobile devices will have to be patient for a bit longer.

Nuro hasn’t guessed the contents of the trailer before, but they’ve been accurate about other things related to games. They’re pretty confident about the release date being February 18, 2025, even though some people think it’s strange for a big game to come out on a Tuesday.

A brand-new Xbox console has been given the thumbs up in South Korea. It’s known as model number 2089, and it’s been called an Xbox dev kit.

There have been rumors floating around since 2023 that Microsoft might be planning to update its Xbox Series consoles. Some folks think this new device could be a digital-only version of the Series X.

This suggests it’s an Xbox dev kit, a special version of a system made to help game developers with tools for testing and debugging. The last time Microsoft got this certification in South Korea was on June 11, 2020, just before they officially announced the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.

This new certified device is called model number 2089. The Series X and Series S dev kits had different model numbers, 1882 and 1881/1883. The NRRA said this new console comes from China and Vietnam, which is the same as the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Possibly, Microsoft might announce this new console in June. This guess comes from how long it took between getting certification in South Korea and the official announcement of the Xbox Series X/S. Microsoft has already said they’re planning an Xbox Games Showcase for June 2024.

This certification news comes not long after a report said a disc-less Xbox Series X could come out this summer. It might cost around $399, making it a middle ground between the $299 Series S and the $499 Series X. The report also said it might be white, even though earlier leaks showed it as black like the regular Series X.

“Rusted Moss” first appeared for PC players on Steam back on April 12. Along with the console launch, there’s going to be a big update coming out too. This game is a mix of adventure and action where you use a grappling hook and your weapons to move around and fight.

The game lets you aim in any direction, giving you lots of freedom to control your character. You’ll have to come up with clever ways to move around and fight off enemies like witches and machines.

The bosses in this game will test how good you are with both shooting and using the grappling hook. You’ll face off against strong witches and huge machines, each with their ways to challenge you.

The story of “Rusted Moss” takes you through empty landscapes filled with sadness, showing what’s left of humanity and their rusty machines. Humans are close to losing everything because faeries are about to invade. To save themselves, humans gave their witches powerful magic stolen from the faeries.

But there’s a twist. The humans got tricked because one of their own, a baby, was swapped by the faeries with something else. This baby, Fern, grows up not knowing she’s a changeling with a hidden loyalty.

With a mysterious shadow named Puck by her side, Fern’s adventure begins to bring the faeries back into the world and close the chapter on the Age of Men.

Capcom has just announced a character everyone expected to see in Street Fighter 6: Akuma. It’s pretty much a given that a Street Fighter game will feature Akuma. This news came out during a special live event where Capcom talked about what’s coming next for the game.

They shared a video about Akuma joining Street Fighter 6 and told us he’s coming out in spring. The video itself didn’t give us much detail and had a lot of talking. Some might have hoped Akuma would be released later, but it looks like he will be available sooner in the spring.

Even though the announcement was a bit vague, it’s clear that Akuma will be part of the game in the spring season. I know not everyone is excited about Akuma being in the game. I would have preferred if he wasn’t included, but I understand that many fans feel differently.

Akuma is a big favorite among players in Japan, and many were surprised when he was added as extra content (DLC) in Street Fighter 5 after the game first came out.

This is the second time Akuma hasn’t been part of the main lineup of characters from the start, possibly because the game makers know people are willing to pay extra to add him to their game.

I know it might sound a bit negative to think they’re just doing this for more money. Sorry if it comes off that way.

But putting that aside, the trailer showing Akuma joining Street Fighter 6 is awesome. It gives off a classic kung-fu movie vibe, like someone trying to avenge their master, and that’s exactly the feel I love for Street Fighter. Akuma’s appearance has also changed from the last game to this new one, which is pretty interesting.
