Palworld has taken over the gaming world since its release, as the RPG that incorporates features from previous titles such as Pokemon, Ark, and Zelda has proven to be a blast so far.
While the game has broken Steam records in terms of player count, some are asking if it will be released on PlayStation 5.
Is Palworld on PlayStation 5?
Palworld Release Date
The unique RPG is jam-packed with content for players to explore, and it’s been a thrill to see how quickly the game has grown in popularity.
Initially, the game was launched on Xbox and PC, with a day-one Xbox Game Pass release, which was rather great to see.
For the time being, we are unable to confirm whether Palworld will be released on PS5. This is primarily because Sony does not accept early-access titles on its platform, and Palworld falls under this category.
Unless P0cketpair completely releases the game, people who want to explore Palworld will have to look for other adventures to get their fill of excitement.

NPIXEL announced the Chrono Odyssey in 2023, and it immediately sparked interest among the gaming community. This massive open-world MMORPG has cutting-edge graphics driven by Unreal Engine 5, as well as an ‘endless’ exploration environment.
It will dominate the MMO world with its intense class systems, diverse enemy roster, and survival mechanics. But what is the Chrono Odyssey release date? When will this game be ready to play?
Chrono Odyssey contains a large amount of material to grasp. The developer has wasted no time in creating an extensive narrative to fill out the universe, and there are currently various trailers, photos, and concept art available for the game. It’s an exciting issue for MMO players around the world. So, when is Chrono Odyssey coming out?
Chrono Odyssey Release Date
Chrono Odyssey has no stated release date as of this writing, however, it is expected to be released in 2024. It is expected to be launched in the second half of 2024 after the summer months have passed.
It’s hardly surprising that there is no release date because the whole game was only disclosed in 2023 – there’s plenty of time until it becomes an issue that Chrono Odyssey hasn’t been released.
There are plenty of excited gamers sitting on the edge of their seats, waiting for the game to be released, and that is all that matters.
Chrono Odyssey was originally planned to be a PC-only game, but now that it will also be available on consoles, delays are probable.
It is difficult for publishers to get their games onto the PlayStation and Xbox shops since there is a stringent application process to follow. That may hold things down, but NPIXEL remains convinced that Chrono Odyssey will be released in 2024.
Chrono Odyssey Platforms
NPIXEL has revealed that Chrono Odyssey will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. A smartphone version was originally planned, but it was canceled, according to reports.
From what we’ve seen thus far, Chrono Odyssey has gorgeous visuals and breathtaking vistas that are best experienced with cutting-edge equipment. That is why Chrono Odyssey will not be available on platforms such as the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or low-end PCs.
With the 2024 Royal Rumble starting next week, it’s time for the 2K Games to give fans their first glimpse at WWE 2K24. The official logo was revealed a few days ago on Twitter, and since then, the creators have been releasing numerous hints for new things coming to WWE 2K24, including various stars and professional sportsmen speculating on who could be the cover star.
While we don’t have that information yet, the most recent tease may be the most intriguing thus far. It just shows the text “1.22.24” and an ominous-looking casket.
WWE 2K24 Release Date PS5
WWE 2K24 Release Date
The existence of WWE 2K24 has been confirmed, however, 2K Games has not publicized it. They have not specified who will be on the roster, what the focus will be, or when it will be released. We don’t know anything because nothing has been revealed.
While we don’t know what the game will contain, we do have a general timeline for its release. According to an investor document, WWE 2K24 is set to release in “fiscal 2024.” That’s this year, as we probably could have predicted.
Speaking of speculating, WWE 2K24 is expected to be released in March 2024. That’s an easy estimate because both WWE 2K22 and WWE 2K23 were released in March. However, there is always the possibility that 2K plans to shift it back to October when the games (2K20 and prior) were originally planned.
I believe this is unlikely since publishing a game with the current year in the title when there are only a few months left makes the game appear outdated rapidly. When 2025 arrives, many people will look at 2K24 titles and ponder if they should wait for the current year’s release.
WWE 2K24 is also expected to be launched for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. PC appears to be a possibility, although it is usually not a top priority. Meanwhile, I’d expect PS4 and Xbox One versions, as 2K wants their sports games to reach the broadest potential audience.
Finally, a Switch version is not promised, but it is an option. It is a question of whether Visual Concepts prepared the engine to work on such constrained hardware.
WWE 2K24 Pre-Royal Rumble Teaser
The important thing to note is that, like previous teases, this is building up to a January 22 reveal date. That means fans will likely get their first peek of WWE 2K24 on the Monday before the Rumble. They’ll likely air whatever footage they have on that night’s Monday Night Raw, but this has not been verified.
WWE 2K23 unveiled its “Even Stronger” trailer on the Monday before the Rumble last year, and the company appears to be doing the same today. That teaser provided viewers their first look at John Cena’s Showcase mode, so many fans believe it could be a sign regarding who this year’s Showcase mode will focus on.
The obvious choice here is The Undertaker. The Deadman has appeared in numerous story modes throughout the years, but he has never had his moment in the spotlight of 2K Games’ main narrative mode.
Given Taker’s lengthy career, there is undoubtedly plenty of material to work with. The Phenom’s Wrestlemania Streak would take center stage, but there is such a rich history to work with that it’s almost surprising the developers haven’t gone that route yet.
However, this is not a certainty that the next Showcase mode will feature Undertaker. Some of the additional tips offered have nothing to do with Taker. For example, one of them is just Rhea Ripley working out, with no apparent connection to the Deadman. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out.

Each season’s Reloaded updates aren’t as substantial as the regular season updates, but they usually include a lot of notable improvements as well as some new content to keep things going until the next season.
Season 1 Reloaded appears to be no different, with significant modifications across the board, particularly in Zombies.
The following are the most noteworthy changes and full patch notes for MWZ Season 1 Reloaded.
Bandai Namco has released new gameplay trailers for the returning characters Panda and Alisa Bosconovitch in Tekken 8. Panda and Alisa will both be playable characters on the Tekken 8 launch roster.
Fans have been given gameplay reveal trailers to highlight how some of these famous characters have changed from their former versions with only a few weeks till the fighting game’s launch and the base game’s roster disclosed.
Panda made her debut appearance in Tekken 3 as a palette swap for the series’ other bear fighter, Kuma. She has appeared in every Tekken game since her debut, finally earning her character slot in the roster with Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Alisa, an android modeled after Dr. Bosconovitch’s late daughter, made her debut in Tekken 6. In non-canon material like as Project X Zone and Tekken: Blood Vengeance, both of these characters would become affiliated with Tekken regular Ling Xiaoyu, with Panda serving as her bodyguard and Alisa becoming her buddy.
Tekken 8 Reveals 2 More Characters
Tekken 8 Official Panda Reveal
These gameplay trailers highlight the fighting techniques of the two heroes. Panda is a moveset clone of Tekken’s Kuma, and the two share moves and gameplay approaches, with a major emphasis on striking from a greater distance due to their longer limbs.
Panda, like Kuma, can use moves related to his prior teacher, Heihachi Mishima, but she also combines moves from her best friend and ward, Ling Xiaoyu. Panda and Xiaoyu have a fun special pre-match start animation in which they hop around and wager that whoever wins the battle gets to choose what food to eat.
The other Tekken 8 trailer focuses on Alisa Bosconovitch, a robotic combatant with a variety of weapons at her disposal. Chainsaws, jetpack wings, and even her skull are among them. Her trailer depicts her fighting a Jack-8 replica and displaying many of her unique maneuvers including her weaponry.
Her Rage Art ending move was acclaimed by fans for being incredibly funny but powerful-looking, with Alisa booting her head into the opponent like a soccer ball and then exploding.

While Alisa’s reappearance was greeted as a welcome return and an improvement over her Tekken 7 version, Panda’s presence has been a bit more contentious, a carryover from her previous appearances.
Many consider Panda to be a waste of a character slot because she shares moves with Kuma, which was only strengthened after fans discovered that they both lacked variety when comparing their movements.
As a result, some believe the two still play similarly, despite the addition of several new movements. Having said that, some fans are nonetheless enthused about playing as Tekken 8’s resident bear fighters and android girl.

The League of Legends patch 14.1B is now available on all servers. Riot Games is implementing this hotfix to address some of the anomalies introduced in the Season 14 release. The patch is not particularly large. However, several champions and items have had their balances adjusted.
The significant buffs to Hwei, Ezreal, Lux, and Naafiri are among the patch’s highlights. On the opposite end of the spectrum, champions such as LeBlanc, Tarix, and Teemo have had their names added to the Nerf list, and their equipment has been considerably reduced.

Although Little Nightmares 3 was first mentioned in October 2021, not much has been said about it since. Following two years of anticipation, the game debuted with a teaser trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live in August.
With this, we may begin to assemble a rough concept of how this independent game will appear and function when it launches the following year. The third game in the Little Nightmares series has high expectations because the first two games in the series are among our top independent horror games and are included in our list of the best horror games.
Nevertheless, there is still a good deal we don’t know about the game before it comes out. However, if you like the first two games, you should definitely keep an eye out for this future title. Here is what we currently know.
When is the Little Nightmares 3 Release Date?
According to the game’s Steam page and the official website, Little Nightmares 3 will launch in 2024. The precise day and month have not yet been made public, though. The PC, PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch will all be able to play the game.
Little Nightmares 3 is a horror adventure game that combines puzzles and platforms; thus, its eerie gameplay should not be taken too seriously. Although we’ve only taken a quick peek at the reveal trailer’s in-game content, it seems to be in line with the previous two games’ content styles.
Because of this, we expect the game to have many of the classic Little Nightmares concepts, like platforming across various levels and exciting pursuit scenes, as well as elements like slyly navigating past opponents to solve puzzles in larger-than-life environments.
However, given that Alone and Low have weapons of their own, we anticipate that fighting will feature more heavily in Little Nightmares 3. A wrench will be the weapon of choice for those who want to play as Alone, while a bow and arrow will be yours if you choose to play as Low.
This could mean more fight scenes with different opponents in addition to using these weapons for any escape routes or puzzle-solving you may need to complete. It’s exciting to announce that Little Nightmares 3 will be the first in the series to include cooperative play, meaning you won’t have to complete the journey alone.
Little Nightmares 2 felt like it should be multiplayer, but that option wasn’t included. Therefore, we expect this to rank among the best cooperative games. Multiplayer will be extremely helpful for the game since it depends heavily on two characters for most of its content, be it platforming, puzzle solving, or even acting as extra hands during boss battle-style combat.
As with the story and setting details, we anticipate learning more about what the game has to offer to differentiate it from the previous two titles. Bandai Namco released an 18-minute playtime that gives us a preview of what co-op will be like.
Although the remainder of this trailer takes us through a whole different environment, it does give us a sense of the puzzle-solving aspect of the game. It emphasizes how important cooperation will be to moving forward. It appears that Low and Alone won’t be able to advance without each other. Thus, for once, playing the game with a friend rather than by yourself would be preferable.
Additionally, it looks like there may be times in the game when you have to work alone to solve riddles. It’s interesting to note that when the two are split, the game concentrates on just one character at a time rather than using a split screen.
This is a unique method of handling separation without couch co-op because one player will essentially lose access to their character for a while, but it helps lessen the chance of becoming lost on the map.
What is the Story of Little Nightmares 3?
Little Nightmares 3 Release Date
There is still a lot we don’t know about Little Nightmares 3, with just one trailer released and little further information available. The brief reveal trailer does, however, allude to a startling amount of information that we can analyze.
Since Little Nightmares is a rather lore-heavy game, we do anticipate learning more details as the release date approaches. However, for the time being, we have a good amount of information regarding the game’s plot and environment to look over.
The narrative centers on Low and Alone, two new heroes with unique skills that will improve your gaming experience. Even though we don’t know these characters’ pasts, we anticipate learning more as the game’s release date draws near. You will be able to choose which character you want to play, which is a franchise first. Both characters have special weapons.
Though we don’t know much about these characters’ pasts, we do know that they are cooperating to get out of the setting. Since Mono and Six did the same in Little Nightmares 2, we anticipate that the two of them will help each other out when it comes to solving puzzles and possibly engaging in combat.
It’s unclear at the moment whether the character you choose to play affects how the story unfolds. Still, given that Supermassive Games is the game’s development team, it would be nice to contribute to Little Nightmares’ legacy.
If your actions also had a butterfly effect, it would be an interesting addition to the Little Nightmares series, especially considering how the stories in Until Dawn and The Quarry by Supermassive weave together.
The new scenario for Little Nightmares 3 is dubbed “The Spiral,” and it’s characterized as a collection of dystopian regions constructed around disordered beliefs. We anticipate that further details about the setting will be released as the year draws to a close.
2024, like the previous year, appears to be jam-packed with games from renowned franchises like Destiny and Final Fantasy, as well as brand-new games from companies of all sizes.
The new year has only just begun, but we already have a sense of how busy it will be, and we have numerous dates circled on our calendars for when we might get “sick” with an “illness.”
It’s tough to keep track of all the games coming out in 2024 on your own, but that’s where Gameempress comes in. We’ve broken down the games releasing in 2024 below, including those with official release dates and those with simply a broad “2024” window.
We’ll continue to add to this list throughout time, and will make adjustments as needed for any games that are delayed or, God forbid, canceled.

New games are added to the Xbox Game Pass service each month, and players of all skill levels may enjoy a wide variety of titles from Microsoft’s constantly rotating library. These can include games from well-known, enduring franchises. Occasionally, games from Microsoft’s first-party studios are included at no extra cost when they premiere, making Game Pass one of the best gaming offers available.
Depending on the service tier they are enrolled in, players can play in a multitude of ways with the majority of Game Pass titles, which are compatible with Xbox consoles, PCs, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Even though Game Pass Ultimate includes everything, individuals who only wish to play on PCs or consoles can still get access to the games with separate memberships.
What Games Are Joining Game Pass in January 2024?
January 2024 Will See the Addition of 10 New Titles. Microsoft has revealed the initial roster of games that will be included in its Game Pass memberships beginning in 2024 on the Xbox website. Even though there aren’t any games that premiere on day one, this month’s lineup offers a wide variety of genres that are sure to please a wide range of different types of players.
These include the action-roguelike twin-stick shooter Go Mecha Ball, the horror-adventure video game Close to the Sun, and the first-person shooter Hell Let Loose, which can be played online. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a massive open-world game from Ubisoft, will debut on January 19 as part of Game Pass, while the much-awaited Resident Evil 2 remake from 2019 will debut on January 16.
Compulsion Games’ dystopian action-adventure game We Happy Few, which was taken down from Game Pass a year ago, will also be returning to the service.
Super Mega Baseball 4 will also be accessible with a Game Pass membership from EA Play. As part of their membership advantages, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers can no longer purchase EA’s subscription service as of November 2020.
The following games will all be available on Game Pass in January 2024:

What Games Are Leaving Game Pass in January 2024?
As usual, Microsoft has revealed that certain games would be deleted from Game Pass during the first half of the month, despite the fact that so many new titles are being added. Grand Theft Auto 5, the open-world criminal epic from Rockstar Games, will conclude its third Xbox Game Pass tour after previously appearing on the service from April to August 2021 and January to May 2020.
Game Pass Daily shared a post on Twitter:

Following the game’s December 2023 enrollment in the PlayStation Plus Extra program, this removal has occurred. Additionally, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable, which were part of the subscription for a year, will no longer be available.
Nevertheless, when Persona 3 Reload—Atlus’ reimagining of Persona 3—launches in February, it will be available on Game Pass. Anyway, Game Pass customers can use their membership discount to save up to 20% on these titles to retain them in their libraries before they are taken down.
The following titles will all be removed from Game Pass in January 2024:
Grand Theft Auto 5 will be departing the Xbox Game Pass list on Friday, January 5, as Microsoft has confirmed. Grand Theft Auto 5 was introduced to Xbox Game Pass on July 5, 2023. Thus, players will have had access to it for six months by the time it is taken down.
Throughout its several appearances on Xbox Game Pass, Grand Theft Auto 5 has consistently received different treatment than other Game Pass titles. Grand Theft Auto 5 was unexpectedly added to Xbox Game Pass the last time it was introduced, as there was no confirmation like there is for other Game Pass titles.
Furthermore, every Rockstar game that is introduced to Game Pass usually disappears on days other than the fifteenth and final days of the month, when other games are taken out of the pass.
Since Grand Theft Auto 5 was introduced to the Xbox Game Pass app’s Leaving Soon section last month, subscribers have been aware of the game’s impending departure for some time. Many took that to suggest that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be removed from the service on December 31.
However, that day passed, and GTA 5 remained accessible. Then, it was thought that Grand Theft Auto 5 would be among the games that would be departing Game Pass on January 15. However, it has now been verified that the game will really be leaving the program ten days sooner.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is the last game that Xbox Game Pass customers are required to play until January 5th, so they should play it as much as they can before that date—unless they want to purchase it permanently, of course.
When is Grand Theft Auto 5 Leaving Xbox Game Pass?
How much longer does GTA 5 allow you to play? Xbox has disclosed that on January 5, the title will be removed from Title Pass. The game is currently marked as “leaving soon” for both the Xbox One and Xbox Series versions. You’ll have to pay £17.49 for it if you want to continue playing beyond that date.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will not just be removed from Xbox Game Pass in January 2024. On January 15, four more games—Garden Story, MotoGP 22, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden—will no longer be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Since Persona 3 will soon get a replacement, Game Pass holders should give Garden Story, MotoGP 22, and Persona 4 Golden priority. On February 2, Persona 3 Reload will launch as a day one title on Xbox Game Pass, offering a fresh take on the beloved title and lessening the pain of Persona 3 Portable’s withdrawal from Game Pass.

If Take-Two Interactive, the game’s publisher, chose to reintroduce Grand Theft Auto 5 to Game Pass, we wouldn’t be shocked. After all, by making a game accessible to a large number of non-owner users, the subscription service can rapidly increase a game’s player base. In the run-up to the much-awaited 2025 release of Grand Theft Auto 6, the highly anticipated new game in the franchise, that seems like a no-brainer.

January isn’t traditionally a busy month for new video games, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any worth playing. On the contrary, while January 2024 doesn’t have the most robust release calendar (especially after the yearly holiday barrage), it does feature a few major releases worth watching.
Meaty adventures rule the month, with a new Prince of Persia game and a restored PlayStation 5 edition of The Last of Us Part II, but fighting enthusiasts can still enjoy Tekken 8. Here’s a look at the top game releases in January.
4. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (Jan. 18)
It’s been nearly a decade since the last completely new Prince of Persia game, and Ubisoft is finally resurrecting the iconic adventure franchise with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
It’ll be easy to save the Prince AND the kingdom, they said…

The Lost Crown, which will be available on PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, combines the franchise’s original side-scrolling action with the time manipulation aspects seen in more recent 3D titles.
But it also takes influences from Metroid and Castlevania, with a large environment and a slew of skills that you’ll progressively discover over time, enriching the story as you progress.
3. The Last of Us Part II Remastered (Jan. 19)
The Last of Us Part II was published at the tail end of the PS4 cycle less than four years ago, and it has already received performance improvements on PS5. However, due to the popularity of the HBO show and the remastered version of the original PS3 action game released in 2023, Naughty Dog is releasing a remastered and expanded version of the sequel on PS5.
It also includes some levels that were eliminated during the original development, new character costumes, and a new roguelike survival mode dubbed “No Return.” Fortunately, it’s also less expensive than a regular new PS5 game, which costs $50.
2. Tekken 8 (Jan. 26)
With Tekken 8, Bandai Namco’s fighting franchise returns to the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC for the King of Iron Fist competition. While the feel is mostly recognizable, with many returning faces, Tekken 8 incorporates fighting mechanics that reward more aggressive players, as well as a more cinematic touch to the action.
🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉
Cheers to 2024 – The YEAR of the Dragon, and to #TEKKEN8! 🎊 The countdown is in the FINAL Stretch!
Just 25 DAYS LEFT until the global release. Who’s ready for the ultimate TEKKEN experience? 🥊 🎮 pic.twitter.com/Uien6o5DJY
It can be difficult to reinvigorate a 30-year-old franchise, especially after so many entries and spinoffs, but Tekken 8 appears to have a revitalized spark. Let’s see if it can hold its own against Street Fighter 6.
1. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (Jan. 26)
No, you’re not mistaken: Sega just released The Man Who Erased His Name, another Like a Dragon game, in November. But, in January, the rebranded Yakuza series will expand once more, bringing together both series leads (Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu) for an open-world action event in both Yokohama and Honolulu City, Hawaii—the first time away from Japan.

Unlike the recent spinoff release, it’s advertised as one of the larger, mainline series entries, and a direct sequel to 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It’s not the ideal place to start with this series, but existing fans will like it on PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S and One, and PC.
All PS5 and PS4 games Will Be Released In January 2024
2024 appears to be off to a strong start, especially once the first two weeks are over. This is hardly surprising given that February and March are often jam-packed with releases, and that momentum can usually be traced back to the second half of January.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a side-scrolling spin-off that received mixed reviews because it isn’t precisely what everyone expected from Ubisoft’s popular property. In isolation, however, The Lost Crown appears to be a fun action-adventure game.
January 2024 will conclude on a high note, with the simultaneous release of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8. The former is a turn-based RPG with a likely long and compelling story, while the latter should be one of the year’s most prominent releases in the combat genre.
Naughty Dog and Sony have revealed that The Last of Us 2 Remastered will be released just a few weeks into the year, with some new features such as a roguelike survival mode.
January 5: Shivering Stone (PS5, PS4)
January 5: Tools Up! Ultimate Edition (PC, PS4, Switch, XBO)
January 10: Ikkarus and the Prince of Sin (PS5, PS4)
January 11: Top Racer Collection (PS5, PS4)
January 11: War Hospital (PS5)
January 16: Toy Trains (PS5)
January 18: Bulletstorm VR (PS5)
January 18: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (PS5, PS4)
January 19: The Cub (PS5, PS4)
January 19: The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered (PS5)

January 25: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy (PS4)

Episode 7 of VALORANT introduced us to the beloved agents Deadlock and Gekko, as well as an exciting new Team Deathmatch mode and the international introduction of China into the VALORANT universe.
Recent leaks of alleged in-game content for Episode 8, Act 1 reveal that players may expect just as many entertaining surprises in 2024. There’s a lot to unpack in this impending update, from a mysterious agent to a brand-new gun.
Here’s a look at these intriguing improvements, as well as a rundown of everything we presently know about VALORANT’s Episode 8.
Valorant Episode 8 Release Date
Episode 8 of VALORANT will premiere on January 10th, 2024 at 7 p.m. ET. The program will begin with Act 1 and progress through several acts, each of which will last several months. Act 2 is expected to air in March and will introduce new characters, including a new agent.
Our devs and @ArrumieShannon are teaming up for a stream dedicated to all things Episode 8 Act 1. They’ll talk about our newest weapon, Kuronami skinline, lore, and map updates.
Riot Games stated in 2022 that it intends to run Valorant with a total of seven maps owing to tournaments having best-of-five series during grand finals. A seven-map package would allow each side to prohibit one map without having to repeat picks.
Riot chose to keep a seven-map pool after consulting with the in-house esports team, surveying players, and speaking with professional organizations, and that remains the norm to this day.
The maps in this pool, however, are altered every few months, usually before the start of a new season. The following is the whole map rotation for the forthcoming Valorant Episode 8.
Valorant announced the seven-map pool for the forthcoming season earlier today, on January 2nd, 2024.
Icebox
Lotus
Sunset
Breeze
Ascent
Bind
Split
Haven is the map that has been removed from the current map pool. The initial three-site map in Valorant has been replaced by Icebox, which was removed from active map rotation in April 2023 and will return after nine months.
However, the map will not be the same because it will undergo certain alterations during its time away from the server.
Episode 8 maps + modes changes:
Modes will use the Competitive map rotation, so that you’ll always play on the most relevant maps. Doesn’t apply to TDM and Custom games.
Icebox will not be the only terrain to change its return in Valorant Episode 8. Lotus, another three-site map, will be tweaked before continuing as part of the seven-map pool.
The specific improvements made to these maps have not been released at this time, but will hopefully be revealed shortly, with only a week till the next major update goes live.
In addition to the somewhat altered map pool and the adjustments coming to the two maps with Valorant Episode 8, the developers revealed that all game modes, except Team Death Match and Custom Games, would now employ the seven-map rotation.
This choice was made to allow players to always play on the most relevant maps.
Unfortunately, the community has had a mixed reaction to this statement, with many believing that other game modes such as Swiftplay, Replication, Spike Rush, and others exist in Valorant for players to simply have fun.
