  • Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall Release Date & Start Times

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall Release Date & Start Times

If you are waiting for the next big Battlefield 6 update, the good news is that the wait is basically over.

Battlefield 6 Season 2: Nightfall launches on March 17, 2026. The important detail is that EA uses two official timesfor the rollout: players can download the update at 09:00 UTC, while the actual Nightfall content goes live at 12:00 UTC. That distinction matters because the playable launch is what most people actually want to know. EA’s official Battlefield Game Info Hub preview and mirrored official listings both point to that split rollout.

That is the real starting point. Not just the date, but the difference between when the patch becomes available and when the content actually unlocks.

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall Release Date

Battlefield 6 Season 2: Nightfall releases on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. This update is the second phase of Battlefield 6 Season 2, following the season’s initial rollout in February. Video Games Chronicle’s reporting on the Season 2 roadmap noted that the season would be released in three phases, with Nightfall arriving on March 17 and Hunter / Preyfollowing later on April 14.

That means Nightfall is not a separate season. It is the mid-season content drop that expands what Season 2 already started.

    Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Nightfall Start Times

Because the playable launch is tied to 12:00 UTC, these are the correct start times for the actual Nightfall content:

    • Pacific Time (PT): 5:00 a.m. on March 17

    • Mountain Time (MT): 6:00 a.m. on March 17

    • Central Time (CT): 7:00 a.m. on March 17

    • Eastern Time (ET): 8:00 a.m. on March 17

    • Brazil Time (BRT): 9:00 a.m. on March 17

    • GMT / UTC: 12:00 p.m. on March 17

    • Central European Time (CET): 1:00 p.m. on March 17

    • India Standard Time (IST): 5:30 p.m. on March 17

    • China Standard Time (CST): 8:00 p.m. on March 17

    • Japan Standard Time (JST): 9:00 p.m. on March 17

    • Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT): 11:00 p.m. on March 17

    • New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT): 1:00 a.m. on March 18

One thing to keep in mind: even when content is scheduled to go live at a specific time, download delays, maintenance, or server congestion can still affect when you actually get into a match. So the timing is official, but the experience at launch can still be messy.

    What Is Coming in Nightfall?

Nightfall is not just a small patch with a dramatic name. EA’s official update preview says this phase brings the new Hagental Base map and adds darkness-focused content across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. Official and secondary coverage also point to the arrival of the CZ3A1 SMG, VZ.61 sidearm, dirt bikes, and broader gameplay and systems improvements.

Hagental Base is the headliner here. It shifts combat underground and leans into lower visibility, tighter spaces, and more infantry-heavy encounters. GamesRadar’s coverage of the season update highlighted that Nightfall is built around darkness mechanics and close-quarters pressure, which makes this update feel very different from the earlier Season 2 phase.

That matters because this looks like the kind of update that changes the rhythm of the game, not just the map list. If you like more chaotic, enclosed combat and lower-visibility fights, Nightfall is probably much more your thing than players who prefer wide-open sightlines.

Why the Start Time Confusion Happened

This is where people got tripped up.

EA’s rollout uses two separate official times:

    • 09:00 UTC for the update download and availability of Nightfall-related updates and challenges

    • 12:00 UTC for the actual Season 2: Nightfall content going live

So if you saw different launch times floating around online, that is why. Some people anchored to the patch-download window, while others anchored to the actual playable release. The cleaner answer is simple: 09:00 UTC is the download time, but 12:00 UTC is the real content launch time.

    Should You Expect Downtime?

    Probably yes, at least briefly.

Major Battlefield updates usually come with some maintenance, deployment time, or short-term server disruption around launch. Coverage from Times of India and other gaming outlets has already warned players to expect some downtime or temporary instability around the Nightfall rollout.

So if you cannot get in right at launch, do not instantly assume something is broken forever. That is pretty normal for a live-service update of this size.

    The Bottom Line

Battlefield 6 Season 2: Nightfall releases on March 17, 2026. Players will be able to download the update at 09:00 UTC, but the actual Nightfall content goes live at 12:00 UTC. That means 5:00 a.m. PT, 8:00 a.m. ET, and 1:00 p.m. CET for the playable launch. The update is set to bring Hagental Base, dark-themed modes, the CZ3A1 SMG, VZ.61 sidearm, dirt bikes, and broader gameplay improvements through Game Update 1.2.2.0.

That is the real takeaway. Get the patch downloaded early, be ready for some launch-day friction, and do not confuse the update window with the actual start of the content.

  • Green Plesioth Location in Azuria and How to Beat It in Monster Hunter Stories 3

Green Plesioth Location in Azuria and How to Beat It in Monster Hunter Stories 3

If you are hunting Green Plesioth in Azuria, the key area to focus on is Mirror Lake. Current guide coverage places Green Plesioth in Azuria: Mirror Lake, and egg-location guides also list Azuria as one of its habitats. That makes Mirror Lake the main place to search if your goal is either to fight the monster directly or farm its egg.

The problem is that Green Plesioth does not feel like a guaranteed, always-visible overworld spawn every time you enter the zone. That lines up with player confusion around Azuria spawns and with the fact that many guides frame Green Plesioth farming around habitats, dens, and retreat mechanics, not just “walk here and it will always be standing there.” In plain English: if you go to Mirror Lake once, do not see it, and assume the guide is wrong, that is probably your mistake rather than the game’s.

Where to Find Green Plesioth in Azuria?

Azuria environment in Monster Hunter Stories 3

The best Azuria zone to search is Mirror Lake. Both Green Plesioth habitat coverage and egg guides point to that sub-area specifically, which is why broad “Azuria” advice is too vague to be useful. If you are writing a real guide, say Mirror Lake clearly instead of making players wander the whole region.

There is also a useful Azuria track item tied to Green Plesioth called Jade-Green Fin. One guide places it in the river between Azuria Castle and the Ashen Pass entrance, which gives players another clue that Green Plesioth activity is tied to Azuria’s water-heavy routes rather than random dry-land sections. That does not replace Mirror Lake as the main farming spot, but it helps narrow the search pattern across the region.

If your goal is a Green Plesioth egg, the smarter method is not mindless map-resetting. The more reliable approach is to use the game’s retreat mechanic. Game8 notes that if you force a monster to retreat, it goes back to its den, and the eggs inside will then all be from that same species. That is a much better farming loop than hoping a random den gives you what you want.

Best Way to Farm Green Plesioth

    Here is the efficient route:

Go to Mirror Lake in Azuria, look for Green Plesioth activity, engage the monster, and try to force a retreat rather than simply ending the fight as fast as possible. According to current guides, retreat can be triggered by either getting a high battle score or using a paintball. Once the monster retreats, follow it to the den and collect the species-specific eggs there.

This matters because regular den farming is random. Guides explicitly note that eggs in normal monster dens are not guaranteed, so players who only raid dens without manipulating retreats are choosing the slower method. If you want a practical guide rather than fluff, this is the point that should be front and center.

    Green Plesioth Weaknesses

Current breakdowns list Green Plesioth’s main body as weak to slashing, piercing, and blunt damage. That means you are not dealing with a fight where only one weapon class works; instead, you have flexibility. The real edge comes from using the right damage consistently and keeping control of the fight rather than walking in underleveled and hoping the monster folds.

Green Plesioth is also described as a more agile and more hostile subspecies than regular Plesioth, with strong mobility on both land and in water. So even if the raw weakness chart looks forgiving, you should expect a more annoying fight if you are sloppy with turn management or enter the battle without enough healing and status coverage.

How to Beat Green Plesioth in Azuria

The basic plan is simple: fight it in Mirror Lake, use your strongest reliable weapon type, and focus on a clean win with enough control to trigger retreat if you are farming eggs. Since Green Plesioth is tied to Azuria’s lake habitat, you should prepare for a water-zone encounter and bring a setup that can survive drawn-out exchanges rather than a glass-cannon loadout built only for burst.

If you are struggling, the likely issue is not some hidden secret mechanic. It is usually one of three things: you are searching the wrong part of Azuria, you are relying on random dens instead of retreat farming, or you are entering the fight underprepared and turning a manageable hunt into a resource drain. The available guides do not suggest some elaborate unlock condition just for regular Green Plesioth in Azuria; they point back to Mirror Lake and standard habitat/den mechanics.

Can’t Find Green Plesioth? Do This

If Green Plesioth is not showing up for you, do this instead:

Head back to Mirror Lake, sweep the area again, and stop wasting time searching unrelated Azuria sections first. If your real goal is the egg, shift immediately to den and retreat-based farming instead of treating overworld visibility as your only method. And if you are chasing broader Azuria progression, remember that other Plesioth-related encounters in the region, such as Invasive Plesioth, are separate and tied to different conditions and locations, so do not confuse those guides with the regular Green Plesioth hunt.

Yes, Green Plesioth can be found in Azuria, and the place you should care about is Mirror Lake. If you want to beat it, bring a solid damage setup and fight cleanly. If you want to farm it efficiently, force a retreat and raid the resulting den instead of gambling on random egg spawns. That is the difference between a guide that actually helps and one that just repeats the map name and wastes the reader’s time.

The game arrives on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S — just weeks from now.

The announcement dropped on March 5, 2026, in Developer Diary Episode 3, complete with pre-orders now open on consoles. This marks the end of a short delay from the original 2025 window, giving the team extra time to polish what promises to be a deeply atmospheric experience.

Step Into the Fog: The Story of Alan Rebels

You play as Alan Rebels, a paranormal investigator dubbed “The Occultist.” After his father vanishes, Alan travels to the abandoned British island of Godstone — the place of his father’s birth, untouched since 1950. Once home to a notorious cult infamous for cruel rituals and disturbing experiments, the foggy, decaying island now teems with ominous souls and lingering curses.

Armed with a mysterious pendulum of unknown origin (one Alan has relied on in past cases), players must explore eerie streets and buildings, interact with wrathful entities, and uncover dark secrets. The narrative blends vulnerability, occult lore, and the heavy cost of helping the dead find peace — all while testing Alan’s own beliefs.

    The Occultist

Gameplay That Builds Dread Through Atmosphere

The Occultist is pure slow-burn psycho-horror rather than jump-scare overload. Key features include:

    • The Mystic Pendulum — Five unique mechanics let Alan interact with and alter the environment in occult-inspired ways.
    • Stealth & Survival — No direct combat; hide, sneak, and evade threats while solving puzzles that range from simple to those requiring genuine occult insight.
    • Immersive Exploration — Tense first-person navigation through fog-shrouded ruins, memorable adversaries, and haunting encounters.
    • Stunning Presentation — Built in Unreal Engine 5 with next-gen graphics, plus an original soundtrack by renowned composer Pepe Herrero.

The latest dev diary spotlights clever sound design: strategic silence and subtle audio cues that let your imagination fill in the terror, making every distant creak or whisper feel personal.

    Editions, Pre-Orders & Demo

    • Standard Edition — Expected at $29.99.
    • Digital Deluxe Edition — $39.99, includes the full game, a digital art book with over 200 pages, and the complete soundtrack.

Pre-orders are live right now on PS5 and Xbox. A free demo is already available on Steam (supporting 14 languages including English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and more) so you can sample the chills today.

PC system requirements call for Windows 11, an Intel i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, and 40 GB of storage, with notably higher recommended specs for the best visual experience.

    The Final Countdown Has Begun

With the release locked and loaded for April 8, The Occultist is shaping up to deliver one of 2026’s most haunting indie horror experiences. If you’re into atmospheric storytelling, paranormal mystery, and dread that lingers long after you put the controller down, mark your calendars.

A demo is waiting on Steam, pre-orders are open on consoles, and Developer Diary Episode 3 is already up on YouTube for a deeper dive into the island’s nightmares. The occult awaits — are you ready to answer the call?

  • WWE 2K26 Release Date and 10 Things You Should Know

WWE 2K26 Release Date and 10 Things You Should Know

WWE 2K26 is expected to be one of the biggest games in the WWE 2K series so far. The game will take up more than 100 GB of storage, which shows how much new content and features it includes. This new version aims to give players a bigger and more complete wrestling experience. Several popular modes, such as MyRise, MyFaction, The Island, and Create, will receive updates and improvements.

Additionally, the game will introduce a new feature called the Ringside Pass. With so many updates and additions, there is a lot for fans to know before the game releases. Below are the WWE 2K26 release details and ten important things players should know about the game.

    1. Launch Date and Early Access Information

WWE 2K26 will officially release on March 13th, 2026. However, players who buy the King of Kings Edition, Attitude Era Edition, or the Monday Night War Edition will be able to start playing earlier. These editions offer early access beginning on March 6th, 2026, giving players about a week to enjoy the game before the standard launch.

This early access can be especially helpful for those who want a head start in competitive modes like The Island and MyFaction.

    2. It Comes With a Roster of 400+ Characters

WWE 2K26 will feature the biggest roster in the history of the series, with more than 400 characters available in the game. The lineup includes current superstars from RAW, NXT, and SmackDown, along with many legends and WWE Hall of Famers.

Some new additions include Rusev, Penta, and Rey Fénix, and even crossover wrestlers from AAA.

    3. Four Newly Introduced Match Types

WWE 2K26 introduces four new match types for players to try. These include the I Quit match, Inferno match, Three Stages of Hell, and the Dumpster Match. The Inferno match is making a return after not appearing in the series for a long time. The game also adds more items that players can use during matches, such as stackable tables, shopping carts, and thumbtacks. These additions give players more ways to create exciting and unpredictable moments in the ring.

    4. CM Punk Is the Game’s Cover Star and Showcase Narrator

CM Punk is featured as the cover star of WWE 2K26. This makes him only the second WWE superstar to appear on the cover of a WWE 2K game twice, as he was also on the cover of WWE ’13. In addition to this, Punk also narrates the game’s 2K Showcase mode called Punked. In this mode, players will relive important moments from his career, including his rise in WWE, his rebellious moments, and his return to the company. The experience will be more personal for fans because the story will be told from Punk’s point of view.

    5. MyRise Mode Gets a Major Upgrade

The MyRise career mode in WWE 2K26 has been updated with new storylines based on different divisions. In this mode, the choices you make as either a hero or a villain will affect your MyPlayer and the direction of the story. The game also includes extra content that players can continue to explore even after finishing the main storyline. This helps fix one of the common complaints from previous games, where the story ended too quickly.

    6. Ratings Explain It All

In WWE 2K26, Rhea Ripley has the highest rating among active WWE superstars with an overall score of 96. Meanwhile, the special ‘Super Cena’ version of John Cena has the highest rating in the entire game with a score of 100. The game also includes Jelly Roll, a celebrity guest, who has an overall rating of 80. Therefore, his addition shows WWE 2K’s effort to include popular figures from outside wrestling.

    7. Creation Suite Gets a Massive Boost

WWE 2K26 expands the creation features for players who enjoy customising characters. The number of Create-A-Superstar save slots has increased to 200, giving players more space to create and save their own wrestlers. The Community Creations section has also been expanded, which allows up to 2000 images to be shared and uploaded.

Additionally, the game includes improved tools for editing body shapes and facial features, along with new options like two-tone hair colors.

    8. The Game’s Download Size Is Above 100GB

WWE 2K26 will require more than 100GB of storage space on all platforms. Players using consoles with limited storage may need to free up some space before installing the game. Therefore, it is a good idea to prepare your console ahead of the early access date on March 6th, 2026 or the official release on March 13th, 2026. In this way, you can download the game without delays and start playing as soon as it becomes available.

    9. The Island Comes to PC With Expanded Features

The Island, WWE 2K’s online social mode, is now available on PC for the first time. In this mode, players can explore a shared world and take part in different activities and challenges.  The latest version introduces three factions that compete for control, along with a new area called Scrapyard Brawl. The progression system has also been updated, and players will hear voice lines from WWE superstars during different quests.

    10. Traditional DLC Is Replaced by the New Ringside Pass

WWE 2K26 brings a new feature called the Ringside Pass, which works like a battle pass system. The game plans to release six seasons of content. Each season will include 40 free reward levels and 40 premium levels, giving players many items and unlocks to earn. The first season will start when the game launches.

This new system replaces the older DLC pack style used in previous games and will also include extra playable characters that are not part of the main roster. Because of this change, it is helpful for players to understand how the Ringside Pass works before choosing which edition of the game to buy.

So, here is everything we know so far about Poppy Playtime Chapter 6.

Is There a Release Date for Poppy Playtime Chapter 6?

    Poppy-Playtime-Chapter-6-Release-Date

No, there is no official release date for Poppy Playtime Chapter 6 yet, and the chapter has not been confirmed by Mob Entertainment. However, many fans believe it could come out sometime in 2027. This idea comes from the recent release pattern with Chapter 3 launching in 2024, Chapter 4 in 2025, and Chapter 5 in February 2026. Because of this yearly pattern, some players think the next chapter may come in early or mid-2027, though this is only speculation for now until the developers share official news.

What Will Be the Story of Poppy Playtime Chapter 6?

While Mob Entertainment has not shared any official details yet, Poppy Playtime Chapter 6 will likely continue the events from the end of Chapter 5. In the final moments, the Prototype kidnaps Poppy after attacking the player, which directly suggests that the next chapter may focus on rescuing her.

The story could also lead to a final confrontation with the Prototype and reveal more secrets about its past and its connection to Poppy. Additionally, some fans believe the chapter may explain the player’s true identity and what happened to the remaining orphans which will bring the story closer to its possible conclusion.

What Platforms Could Poppy Playtime Chapter 6 Be Available On?

Although there is no official confirmation yet, Chapter 6 will most likely release on PC first, since every previous chapter has launched on that platform before coming to others. The earlier chapters are also available on consoles, so the next chapter could eventually arrive on platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch as well.

In addition, the series has later been released on mobile devices which means Chapter 6 may also come to Android and iOS in the future. However, players will need to wait for official details from the developers about the final list of platforms.

  • Is Gotham Knights Crossplay in 2026? Complete Guide to Multiplayer on PS5, Xbox & PC

Is Gotham Knights Crossplay in 2026? Complete Guide to Multiplayer on PS5, Xbox & PC

Gotham Knights crossplay is one of the most searched topics for the 2022 open-world Batman game even in 2026. Players want to know if they can team up with friends across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC without buying extra copies.
The short answer: Gotham Knights does not have full crossplay. Xbox and PC players can play together, but PS5 players are still limited to other PS5 users only. No changes have been made since the 2023 Xbox/PC update.
This updated guide covers the exact Gotham Knights crossplay status, supported platforms, cross-save details, and how to set up co-op in 2026.

Gotham Knights Crossplay Status in 2026

Gotham Knights launched without any cross-platform play in October 2022. A September 2023 update added limited crossplay, but only between Xbox Series X|S and all PC versions (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store).
As of March 2026, the official FAQ on the Gotham Knights website still states: “Cross-platform support is not planned at this time.” PlayStation 5 remains completely separate. There have been no new patches or announcements adding PS5 crossplay.

Gotham Knights Crossplay Supported Platforms Explained

Here’s the current breakdown of Gotham Knights crossplay in 2026:
    • Xbox Series X|S + PC: Full crossplay supported.
You can invite or join friends between Xbox and any PC version. This works seamlessly thanks to Xbox Play Anywhere.
    • PC (Steam + Epic + Microsoft Store): Yes, all PC players can play together regardless of launcher.
    • PS5: No crossplay with Xbox or PC.
PS5 users can only connect with other PS5 friends via PlayStation Network.
    • Cross-generation: Not applicable – the game never released on PS4 or Xbox One.

If you and your friends are on Xbox or PC, Gotham Knights crossplay works great. If anyone is on PS5, you’ll need to play on the same platform.

Why Doesn’t Gotham Knights Have Full Crossplay?

The limited Gotham Knights crossplay setup comes from platform agreements and development decisions. The Xbox/PC support was added when the game joined Xbox Game Pass. Sony’s policies kept PS5 isolated. Warner Bros. Montreal has not released any roadmap or updates to expand crossplay, and the game is no longer receiving major new features.

    Gotham Knights Cross-Save and Cross-Progression

    • Xbox + PC: Yes – full cross-save and cross-progression. Your characters, story progress, and unlocks transfer between Xbox and PC using the same account.
    • PS5: No cross-save. Progress stays locked to your PlayStation account.

This makes Xbox and PC the most flexible options for Gotham Knights multiplayer.

How to Play Co-op with Gotham Knights Crossplay

    1. Progress past the early story missions until online co-op unlocks.
    2. Set your session to “Public” or send direct invites.
    3. On Xbox/PC: Use the in-game friends list – crossplay activates automatically.
    4. On PS5: Only invite other PS5 players through PlayStation Network.

    Requirements:

    • Internet connection required (no local co-op).
    • Xbox needs Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate.
    • PS5 needs PlayStation Plus.
    • PC needs no extra subscription.

The game supports 2-player story co-op and up to 4-player Heroic Assault mode

Will Gotham Knights Add PS5 Crossplay in the Future?

There are no official plans or announcements for full Gotham Knights crossplay in 2026. Community discussions on Reddit, Steam, and recent YouTube videos confirm the current setup is likely permanent. The game has moved into maintenance mode with no new content updates expected.

Should You Buy Gotham Knights for Co-op in 2026?

    • Yes, if everyone is on Xbox or PC – the crossplay and cross-save work reliably and the game is often on sale or included with Game Pass.
    • Consider the same platform for everyone if PS5 players are involved.

Gotham Knights crossplay is partial at best. Xbox and PC users get the best multiplayer experience, while PS5 remains standalone.

    Gotham Knights Crossplay FAQ

Does Gotham Knights have crossplay in 2026?

No full crossplay. Only Xbox and PC are connected.

Can PS5 play with Xbox or PC?

    No.

Yes between Xbox and PC only.

Marvel MaXimum Collection Launches March 27 for PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X|S

Marvel fans will not have to wait much longer. MARVEL MaXimum Collection is officially set to launch on March 27for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a big batch of retro Marvel games back for modern platforms. The collection was announced by Limited Run Games, with a digital release arriving first.

This release is shaping up to be a strong nostalgia hit for players who grew up with Marvel games in the arcade and on older home consoles. Along with the digital launch, physical editions will be available for pre-order from March 27 through May 24.

A Retro Marvel Release With Big Fan Appeal

MARVEL MaXimum Collection is built around classic Marvel action games from the arcade, 8-bit, and 16-bit eras. Instead of offering just one or two throwback titles, the package pulls together a wider set of older releases and presents them as a modern collection for today’s systems.

Marvel MaXimum Collection Launches March 27

Some of the featured games in the collection include:

    • X-Men: The Arcade Game

    • Captain America and The Avengers

    • Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage

    • Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety

    • Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge

    • Silver Surfer

One of the biggest highlights is clearly X-Men: The Arcade Game, which supports up to six-player online multiplayer. For a lot of fans, that alone will be enough reason to pay attention to this release. It is one of those classic Marvel games people have wanted to see back on modern platforms for years.

More Than Just a Basic Collection

The package is not only about bringing old games back. It also includes several extra features that make the overall release more useful for modern players.

According to the announced details, the collection includes:

    • a digital archive with original box art, manuals, and vintage ads

    • a built-in music player

    • rewind support

    • save states

    • display filters including CRT and scanline options

    • rollback netcode for X-Men: The Arcade Game

    • a museum mode

    • cheat menus

That gives the collection a bit more value than a barebones re-release. Players who want the old-school experience can enjoy the games as they remember them, while others can use the newer quality-of-life features to make things smoother.

A Solid Release for Marvel and Retro Gaming Fans

Overall, MARVEL MaXimum Collection looks like a smart release for fans of older superhero games. It blends arcade nostalgia, recognizable Marvel titles, and modern features in a way that should help it stand out when it arrives later this month. With the March 27 launch now locked in, this is one retro collection that should get plenty of attention from Marvel fans across all major platforms.

  • White Crow vs. Invisible Demons: Provoron’s Stunning New Trailer Revealed

White Crow vs. Invisible Demons: Provoron’s Stunning New Trailer Revealed

Provoron’s new trailer from the Dames 4 Games Spring 2026 Showcase shines a spotlight on a small but striking indie adventure with a lot on its mind.

A Strange Journey With a White Crow

Provoron is a hand-drawn 2.5D adventure game that follows Ankou, a white crow who simply doesn’t fit in.

While other crows go about their lives, Ankou sees things they can’t: mischievous red demons that slip into people’s minds, twist their thoughts, and quietly take over.

The new trailer leans into this unsettling premise. It shows Ankou moving through a gloomy town where danger isn’t obvious at first glance, but reveals itself in strange shapes hiding in bodies, trees, roads, and even the cracks in walls.

    Hand‑Drawn 2.5D Art With a Haunting Mood

One of the first things that stands out in the trailer is the art style. Provoron is completely hand‑drawn, created by solo developer Tara Kan, and it looks more like an illustrated storybook than a typical video game.

Characters are anthropomorphic animals, the environments feel slightly warped and dreamlike, and the demons themselves show up as bold, red, scribbled figures that clash with the muted world around them.

That contrast gives the game a surreal, almost uncomfortable mood that fits its themes. It’s not loud or jumpscare‑driven horror; it’s more about quiet anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and the feeling that something is wrong even when everything appears normal.

A Story About Inner Demons and Growing Up

Under the quirky “white crow sees demons” setup, Provoron is meant to be a deeply personal story. In interviews and press material, the developer describes it as a game about growing up, feeling different, and wrestling with inner pain that no one else can see.

Ankou’s journey to escape and fight back against the demons mirrors the emotional struggles of people who carry invisible burdens while trying to live an ordinary life.

The game uses that idea in its mechanics too. There’s a “close your eyes” system that lets you shift between realities and notice things others ignore, along with choices that can branch the story and lead to different outcomes.

It’s the kind of design that invites players to slow down, read between the lines, and think about what those demons might represent.

Gameplay: Exploration, Choices, and No Pixel Hunting

Provoron plays like a point‑and‑click style adventure, but with some modern comforts. The developer emphasizes that you can use a gamepad or keyboard without tedious pixel hunting.

Instead, the focus is on exploring scenes, solving grounded puzzles, and making decisions that influence Ankou’s path and relationships.

A demo has previously been made available on Steam, acting as a short prologue with roughly half an hour of playtime. It introduces the main characters, the core mechanics, and the emotional tone the full game is aiming for.

Dames 4 Games Spring 2026 Showcase Spotlight

The latest trailer appears as part of the Dames 4 Games Spring 2026 Showcase, a digital event celebrating games led by women and femme developers.

Being featured alongside other indie titles in this showcase helps Provoron reach a wider audience and underlines its identity as a personal, creator‑driven project.

The Steam news post for the event confirms that a new trailer was created specifically for this showcase, highlighting fresh footage and drawing more attention to the game’s atmosphere and themes.

    Platforms and Availability

For now, Provoron is confirmed for PC via Steam.

The developer has opened playtest registration in the past and continues to refine the game, but there is no exact full release date yet.

If you’re interested, the safest way to keep up is to wishlist the game on Steam and follow any future updates from the developer or upcoming showcases.

    Why Provoron Is Worth Watching

Provoron is not trying to compete with giant blockbusters. Instead, it aims to tell a quiet, emotional story with a unique visual identity and mechanics built around perspective, perception, and choice.

If you’re drawn to narrative‑driven, atmospheric adventures that linger in your head after the credits roll, this white crow and his invisible demons might be worth keeping on your radar.

If Provoron’s haunting world and hand‑drawn style speak to you, keep an eye on Game Empress for future updates, impressions, and release news on this and other standout indie adventures.

  • CarX Drift Racing Online 2 Release Window: What We Know So Far

CarX Drift Racing Online 2 Release Window: What We Know So Far

CarX Drift Racing Online 2 is currently planned to enter Early Access in Q2 2026, according to its Steam listing, with a full launch expected roughly by the end of 2026.
For fans of the original game, that means the wait is still on, but there is finally a clearer release window to work with.

CarX Drift Racing Online 2 Release Date: What Fans Need to Know

After plenty of curiosity from the drifting community, CarX Drift Racing Online 2 now has a listed release window on Steam.
The game is planned for Early Access in Q2 2026, and the developers say the full version is expected to arrive around the end of 2026.
That is the most important update right now, especially for players who have been waiting to see when the next big step in the CarX series would actually happen.

What makes this update notable is that it gives fans something more concrete than a vague “coming soon” message.
The official CarX website also highlights the game and directs players to wishlist it on Steam, which shows the title is very much part of the company’s current lineup.

    Why This Game Matters

CarX Drift Racing Online 2 is not being pitched as a small follow-up.
Its Steam description presents it as a new drifting simulator built around an authentic competition format and a judging system inspired by modern drift championships.
In simple terms, this sounds like a game that wants to feel closer to organized competitive drifting rather than just casual tire smoke and free driving.

That is a smart direction for the series.
The first CarX Drift Racing Online built a loyal audience because it balanced accessible fun with convincing drift physics, and the sequel appears to be aiming for a more refined and competition-focused identity.

    What Players Can Expect

Based on the current Steam listing, the sequel will include duels, TOP 32 battles, and freeride in online rooms.
Those features suggest a game that is being built for both serious tandem drifters and players who simply want to hang out online and drive with friends.
The same listing also points to enhanced and updated physics developed in collaboration with the CarX Motorsport team.

That detail may end up being one of the biggest selling points.
For racing and drifting fans, better physics can make a much bigger difference than flashy marketing, because the feel of the car is what keeps people playing long after launch week is over.
If CarX gets that balance right again, the sequel could have a very strong start when Early Access opens.

    A Sequel Worth Watching

The official CarX site describes CarX Drift Racing Online 2 as a drifting simulator with a real competition format and a judging system modeled after modern drift events.
That lines up with the Steam description and gives the impression that the developers want this sequel to feel more structured, more competitive, and more ambitious than before.
It also helps that the game already has a dedicated Steam page, which usually signals that the project is moving toward a more active public rollout.

For now, the key thing to remember is simple: CarX Drift Racing Online 2 is targeting Q2 2026 for Early Access, while the full release is expected later in 2026.
That may still feel a little far away, but for drifting fans, it is at least a real timeline—and that makes the road ahead easier to follow.

  • Zombiehood Official Release Date Trailer Promises Chaotic Roguelite Action

Zombiehood Official Release Date Trailer Promises Chaotic Roguelite Action

The newly released Zombiehood official release date trailer has finally confirmed when players can jump into its zombie-filled world, and it already looks like a game worth keeping an eye on. The trailer reveals that Zombiehood will launch on Steam on April 30, 2026, while also giving a quick but exciting look at the game’s fast-paced combat, survival mechanics, and chaotic roguelite gameplay loop.

Zombiehood Gets an Official Release Date

After building curiosity among indie game fans, Zombiehood now has a locked release date. According to the official release date trailer, the game will be available on Steam starting April 30, 2026.

That announcement is the biggest takeaway from the trailer, especially for players who have been waiting for more concrete launch details. With the date now confirmed, Zombiehood is stepping into the spotlight as one of the indie zombie titles to watch this year.

    What the Trailer Shows

The trailer describes Zombiehood as a “quirky yet brutal” roguelite, and that tone comes through clearly in its presentation. Players can expect a mix of exploring, fighting, looting, adapting, and surviving as each run throws different weapons, gear, artifacts, and growing threats their way.

One of the more interesting details highlighted in the trailer is the game’s focus on scarcity and strategy. Ammo is limited, enemies continue to evolve, and success seems to depend heavily on putting together the right build during each run.

A Roguelite With Zombie Survival Pressure

What makes Zombiehood stand out, at least from this early footage, is the way it blends arcade-style action with survival tension. It is not just about mowing down waves of zombies, because the trailer suggests that resource management and smart decision-making will be just as important as shooting skills.

That kind of structure could make every session feel unpredictable. Since the game is built around roguelite elements, players will likely need to adjust their approach from run to run depending on the items, weapons, and threats they encounter.

    Who Is Behind the Game

The trailer credits Zombiehood to developers Weak Spots and Dead Traveler. That gives the game a distinct indie identity, which fits the trailer’s scrappy, stylish, and slightly offbeat energy.

It is also being positioned as a Steam release, which makes sense for a title that seems designed to attract players who enjoy replayable indie action games. For now, Steam is the confirmed platform mentioned in the release date reveal.

Why Indie Fans May Want to Watch This One

There is no shortage of zombie games, but Zombiehood appears to be leaning into personality rather than just genre familiarity. Its mix of humor, brutal action, evolving threats, and build-based progression could help it carve out a niche among players who enjoy roguelites with a survival twist.

If the full game delivers on what the trailer promises, Zombiehood could end up being a fun surprise in the indie space when it arrives on April 30. At the very least, the official release date trailer does a solid job of setting the tone and giving players a reason to wishlist it before launch.

  • Who are The Most Iconic Video Game Characters in the 21st Century?

Who are The Most Iconic Video Game Characters in the 21st Century?

Video games have become more popular today, than they’ve ever been. The mainstream embracing of video games has resulted in quite a lot of newbies purchasing the latest or the greatest titles. Obviously, when someone is new to a hobby, they look at what is most popular.

In the case of video games, the first thing that pops up when googling the most iconic video game characters are all characters that debuted in the 20th century. Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Link, and Samus Aran are all the pillars on which gaming was made.

But, modern audiences may be more interested in more recent characters. In this article, we would like to go over the most iconic video game characters of the 21st century. We will discuss what makes them interesting, and why they’ve endured for so long.

    Heavy Weapons Guy – TF2

Team Fortress 2 is, in many people’s eyes, the progenitor of multiplayer online first-person shooter games. While that is not quite true, as online multiplayer FPS games did exist before TF2, it is absolutely true that the game played a huge role in popularizing the genre and inspiring modern games like Overwatch, Fortnite, etc.

The Team Fortress 2 cast consists of nameless characters, known only by their weapon or playstyle of choice. And of these choices, the most iconic and popular one is, without a doubt, the Heavy Weapons Guy. To many, a tank may not seem like a fun playstyle. But, the massive weapons and damage that the big guy deals make him a fan favorite. Of course, the memes centered around him didn’t hurt his popularity.

Heavy Weapons Guy was so popular, that he was even included in the first installment of the “Night at the Inventory” series, a crossover game series where notable video game characters gather together to play poker. With online casinos growing ever more popular in 2024, a lot of people are rediscovering Night at the Inventory. Sure, it can’t compare to the Drops and Wins games at BetFIRST, especially when they offer real cash prizes. But, the game does help to raise interest in poker, and in Team Fortress 2.

Online casinos, for those who may not know, are websites that host virtual versions of all of the most popular gambling games. At these websites, you could play poker, but also slots, blackjack, baccarat, and more. They are also incredibly newbie friendly, offering a ton of excellent welcome bonuses and promo codes.

Vaas Montenegro – Far Cry 3

Sometimes, it isn’t the hero that steals the show, but the villain. Video games have no lack of iconic villains, from Dracula of Castlevania to Bowser from Super Mario, and of course Link’s eternal enemy, Ganondorf. But, there is no doubt that in the 21st century, one of the most iconic villains in the video game world is the gun-slinging, fast-talking, philosophy-spewing drug trafficker, Vaas Montenegro.

Far Cry 3 is widely considered one of the best installments in the Far Cry series. And while it may not be as iconic as games like Street Fighter, Super Mario, or Legend of Zelda, the series has a huge following to this day. Part of the reason for that is Far Cry 3’s iconic villain, Vaas Montenegro. He is a constant source of fear for the game’s protagonist (and by extension player), defeating him and capturing him several times throughout the game.

When Jason Brody reaches the end of the line, and finally faces off against Vaas, the villain’s mind has degraded to a point where he is no longer in control. The drug-fueled final battle between the two remains one of the peaks in the Far Cry franchise, and an incredible showing of what video game developers are capable of when given free reign.

    Freddy Fazbear – FNAF

Five Nights at Freddy’s released as an indie game in 2014, and has since become a superpower in the world of gaming. The franchise has grown to incredible levels, showing that if a game developer has enough passion, talent, and luck, anything is possible. In 2023, we even had a Five Nights at Freddy’s film adaptation, which, while reviled by critics, was mostly received positively by fans.

Of course, the game’s name references it’s major antagonist, Freddy Fazbear – an animatronic bear possessed by a vengeful spirit. The goal of the game is to spend five nights in the pizzeria where Freddy Fazbear entertained children. All the while, you are being hunted by the monstrous animatronic, and its “pals.”

The Dovahkiin – Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

It is hard to make an iconic character be the protagonist of an RPG. After all, the whole point is that the protagonist is anyone you want them to be. Though Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is no different, it is simultaneously so much different. When most people think of the Dragonborn, or Dovahkiin in the dragon’s tongue, there is one specific image that pops to mind.

The lone Viking warrior, standing atop a mountain as the air swirls around him. His front-facing horned helmet atop his head, and his medium armor adorning his body. While many might think it counter-intuitive to create such an iconic image for a character the player is supposed to build themselves, this one image of the Dovahkiin remains a staple of gaming. It is, in part, the reason why Skyrim is the most successful installment of the Elder Scrolls franchise.

Kratos – The God of War

Finally, we couldn’t end the list without bringing up the rage-fueled slayer of gods, both Greek and Nordic, Kratos. Born in Sparta, Kratos knew only war. As Ares’ most loyal servant, he swore to serve his god, as long as he had a family to come back to.

However, Ares betrayed the warrior, branding him with a blood-red streak and an ashen skin. Seeking revenge, Kratos brutally butchered the gods of Olympus, and managed to retire in Scandinavia. Years later, the God of War is called to action again to prevent Ragnarok.

Kratos has been the star of five games, including the original (or “Greek”) trilogy, and the “Ragnarok” duology. His pale-white skin, red mark, and dual-blades remain some of the most iconic images of modern gaming, and it will be a long time before the hero’s name is forgotten.
