Destiny 2: Double Duty Destroyer – The Ultimate Falling Guillotine PvE & PvP God Roll Guide

The Falling Guillotine sword first appeared in Destiny 2 during the Season of Arrivals. It’s a descendant of the Dark Drinker exotic sword from the original Destiny and has become very popular in the Destiny community.

Now that the sword is back with new perks in the Into the Light update, there’s a lot of excitement around it again. You can get different rolls on this sword depending on whether you want to have fun with it or use it for tough missions.

For PvP (Player vs. Player) and PvE (Player vs. Environment) activities, there are specific god rolls (perfect combinations of perks) you’ll want when farming for the Falling Guillotine in the Onslaught activity.

    PvE God Roll:

    • Column 3: Vorpal Weapon
    • Column 4: Bait and Switch

In PvE (against computer-controlled enemies), having Vorpal Weapon and Bait and Switch is really valuable. Vorpal Weapon increases damage against bosses and tough enemies. Bait and Switch boosts damage after swapping to this sword, which is great for high-end content where you need extra firepower.

    PvP God Roll:

    • Column 3: Vorpal Weapon
    • Column 4: Eager Edge

In PvP matches (against other players), Eager Edge helps you move faster when using the sword. Vorpal Weapon is effective against enemy players in certain situations, like when they’re using defensive abilities or super abilities.

Swords are generally not the best choice for PvP, but with this god roll, you can make the Falling Guillotine work well in those situations.

Remember, these god rolls are the ideal combinations of perks for maximizing the effectiveness of the Falling Guillotine sword in different game modes

Is Your PC Ready For Adventure? Try The FF14 Dawntrail Benchmark Tool!

The Final Fantasy 14 benchmark for Dawntrail has been announced, which means we can test how well our computers will run the upcoming game expansion.

Alongside this, we’ll also get to create our female Hrothgar characters, a new race coming to the game. Game director Naoki Yoshida showed off some exciting graphical improvements that will be part of the 7.0 update.

Yoshida highlighted changes like detailed grass and flowers, improved textures on the ground and cobblestones, and better shadows and reflections across all areas in the game.

He also mentioned enhancements to flower visuals, making them look more like how they were originally envisioned.

One important new feature is super-resolution support, which will enhance the quality of lower-resolution images.

This update will include support for AMD FSR 1.0 and Nvidia’s DLSS 2.0, giving players options to improve graphics quality on various platforms.

The benchmark for Dawntrail will be available to download on April 14th, allowing players to test their PC’s performance and create their female Hrothgar characters.

This tool won’t let you play the actual game but will help you prepare for Dawntrail’s release. If you’re thinking about upgrading your PC for expansion, there are guides available to help build a powerful gaming setup.

  • Get Ready For The Northern Crater: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Lands In 2027

Get Ready For The Northern Crater: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Lands In 2027

It’s widely known that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth had a smooth development because most of the team from Final Fantasy 7 Remake stayed together.

The first game laid the groundwork for visuals and gameplay, making Rebirth quicker to create. It took about three years to make Rebirth, and Square Enix expects the same for the final game in the trilogy.

Director Yoshinori Kitase mentioned (according to Audrey) that the third game will be made by the same team. They aim to make it just as good as Remake and Rebirth. The main story for part three is already written, and they’re planning to start recording voice acting soon.

So, we can expect the third part of the Remake trilogy around 2027. But keep in mind that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade’s Yuffie DLC took an extra year to develop. If Rebirth gets a similar expansion, the third game might come out in 2028.

By November 2027, the PS5 will be seven years old. Usually, new PlayStation consoles come out around this time. Releasing all three games on one platform makes sense for Square Enix.

  • A Star Wars Open World First: No More Tower Climbing In Star Wars Outlaws

A Star Wars Open World First: No More Tower Climbing In Star Wars Outlaws

Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world game, Star Wars Outlaws, breaks away from a common tradition seen in their games: climbing towers to reveal parts of the map.

According to Brian Shea from Game Informer, the creative director of Star Wars Outlaws, Julian Gerighty, confirmed that there won’t be any towers to climb in the game to unlock areas of the map.

Instead of using binoculars or other devices to uncover the map, players will explore naturally. As you move around and discover new places, the fog covering the map will gradually lift.

Climbing towers has been a popular activity in many games like Ubisoft’s titles Grow Home and Grow Up. However, relying on towers as a repetitive way to interact with a game world can feel artificial and predictable.

Star Wars Outlaws aims to provide a more immersive and natural experience. The developers want players to feel complete freedom in how they approach the game, moving away from typical open-world game mechanics like repetitive tower climbing.

The game’s focus is not just on combat, which goes beyond simple cover-based shooting. Star Wars Outlaws seems to be paying attention to important details, avoiding the trap of becoming a never-ending RPG filled with countless collectibles and unnecessary gameplay hours.

In summary, Star Wars Outlaws promises a fresh take on open-world gaming without relying on tired tropes like climbing towers to uncover the map, offering players a more dynamic and engaging experience in the Star Wars universe.

Heroes Vs. Villains? Not Quite! Overwatch 2’s Mirror Universe Mode Redefines Good And Evil!

Blizzard is changing things up in Overwatch 2 with a new mode called Mirrorwatch for season 10. This mode flips the roles of heroes and villains, turning good characters into bad ones and bad ones into good ones.

For example, you’ll see heroes like Widowmaker and Doomfist acting as good guys, while Reinhardt and Tracer take on villainous roles. It’s not just about looks—these characters will also have new abilities that match their new alignments.

For instance, Doomfist now uses a shield like Reinhardt to protect teammates, and an evil version of Mercy can shoot projectiles from her healing staff.

This season introduces a special mythic skin called Vengeance Mercy, inspired by the evil side of Mercy. There are also other cool skins for characters like Ana, Baptiste, Sojourn, and Symmetra reflecting this role-swapping theme.

In addition, a collaboration skin with Porsche for D.Va is on the way. Season 10 of Overwatch 2 starts on April 16 and includes the new hero Venture. The Mirrorwatch mode will be available from April 23 to May 16. Get ready for some exciting twists and new challenges in the game!

Helldivers 2: The Grind Is Real! New Fleet Upgrades Take Months To Earn

Attention all Helldivers 2 players! There’s a new update called the Democratic Detonation Warbond available now, but there’s more to it than just that. The game’s developer, Arrowhead, has quietly introduced new ship modules for players.

While the Warbond is nice for premium players, you should check out these new Ship Module upgrades. There are six of them, but getting them will require some serious effort.

For example, the ‘Atmospheric Monitoring’ upgrade helps with targeting bad weather for certain attacks, but it costs a lot: 200 Samples, 150 Rare Samples, 15 Super Samples, and 25,000 Credits. That’s a hefty amount of Samples!

Similarly, the ‘Enhanced Combustion’ module, which boosts fire damage from certain attacks by 15%, also costs the same. All these new modules have similar costs, give or take a few Samples, Super Samples, or Credits.

One module, like the ‘XXL Weapons Bay’, costs fewer Samples, while another, ‘Blast Absorption’, which reduces damage from explosions for certain units, costs a bit more in Super Samples.

There’s also a module called ‘Circuit Expansion’ that’s great for fans of the Arc Thrower weapon, as it makes lightning jump to more enemies. And don’t forget ‘Superior Packing Methodology’, which gives you more ammo in Resupply Packages.

These upgrades are coming just in time, as players are fighting off a big invasion in the game. These new modules will make your weapons and abilities even stronger against the invading forces. Happy hunting, Helldivers!

  • Helldivers 2 Players Spot Warbond Armor Mishap, Fix On The Way

Helldivers 2 Players Spot Warbond Armor Mishap, Fix On The Way

Yep, that new CE-27 Ground Breaker armor that came out with the latest Helldivers 2 Warbond was supposed to have a different special ability, but the developers at Arrowhead are already fixing the mix-up.

The armor was meant to have the Engineering Kit passive, which reduces recoil when you crouch or lie down by 30% and gives you extra space for grenades. However, it was released with the Servo-Assisted passive instead, which helps with something else.

The community manager, Spitz, explained on Discord that they are planning to switch it back to the correct passive ability in an upcoming update. If you were considering buying the new warbond because of this armor, you might want to wait for the fix.

Regarding the CE-27 Ground Breaker armor, there was a slight mixup that resulted in it going live with the Servo-Assisted instead of the Engineering Kit passive. This should be changed back in an upcoming hotfix.

Some players who already bought the warbond and like the Servo-Assisted ability are disappointed, though. They are asking for a way to change the armor’s abilities so they can keep the look they want with the abilities they prefer.

This mix-up is making more players want the option to switch abilities on their armor. The latest warbond has received mixed feedback overall, with many players agreeing that it needs some improvements, especially the rifle that’s not very good.

Mortal Kombat 1 Rewrites History With Brand New Ermac Backstory

NetherRealm Studios has updated the backstory of Ermac, a popular character in Mortal Kombat, with significant changes.

Originally, Ermac was a concept born from rumors in the first Mortal Kombat game’s audit menus but became a real character in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

In the game’s revised storyline, Ermac is no longer controlled by Shao Khan but is now a collection of souls bound together by Quan Chi’s dark magic.

These souls were meant to act as one, but when Mileena defeats Ermac, one soul, Emperor Jerrod, takes charge temporarily.

Emperor Jerrod was once the ruler of Outworld and husband to Empress Sindel. While under Jerrod’s control, Ermac assists Empress Mileena in her rule.

However, Ermac’s collective souls regain control, and he retreats into the shadows of Outworld, no longer a slave to Quan Chi or tied to the royal family. Now, Ermac must forge his path and find a new purpose to fight for.

  • From 2022 To 2024: Fallout 4’s Next-Gen Update Prepares For Launch This Month

From 2022 To 2024: Fallout 4’s Next-Gen Update Prepares For Launch This Month

Hot news! Fallout 4 is getting a big update soon, starting on April 25th. This update was first announced back in 2022 by Bethesda, the company behind Fallout. Originally, it was meant to come out in 2023, but it got delayed until 2024.

The update is a major one. It’s designed to make Fallout 4 look even better and play smoother, especially on newer game consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It will also work on older consoles and PCs.

For PC players, the update will bring support for wider screens and fix some quests and tools. They’re also fixing bugs and making the game more stable, especially for players using Japanese and Chinese languages.

The update will also add new things to the game through the Creation Club, like Enclave-themed items such as weapon and armor skins. There will be a new quest called “Echoes of the Past” where players have to stop the Enclave, a powerful group from previous Fallout games, from taking over the Commonwealth.

This update looks exciting for Fallout fans, especially with new content and fixes coming after all this time.

  • Ubisoft Deletes “The Crew”: Did You Ever Really Own Your Games?

Ubisoft Deletes “The Crew”: Did You Ever Really Own Your Games?

Ubisoft’s online-only racing game, The Crew, became unplayable on April 1. Some players are upset because they claim Ubisoft went further by removing their access to the game from their Ubisoft Connect accounts. This means they can no longer play the game they bought with their own money.

To understand this situation better, we need to know that The Crew is a game that requires online servers to work. These servers were shut down on April 1, and the game was also removed from online stores. This means even if players still had the game on their devices, they couldn’t play it anymore.

The impact of Ubisoft’s action mainly affects the original version of The Crew. The sequels, The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest are still playable.

When Ubisoft announced the server shutdown, they offered refunds to players who had recently bought The Crew. However, because the game has been around for about ten years, most players didn’t qualify for this refund. Some players were planning to create private servers to continue playing, but now that option is gone.

This situation brings attention to a bigger issue about buying digital games. When we buy games online, we might think we own them, but the truth is we don’t own anything. Game companies like Ubisoft have terms of service that explain this.

The director of subscriptions at Ubisoft even said players will get used to not owning their games, but many people still find it unsettling that something they paid for can vanish so easily, even if it’s becoming common practice in the gaming industry.

Dead Cells Devs Go Persian! New Prince Of Persia Game Revealed!

This game is like Dead Cells—it’s a side-scrolling roguelite. You control the Prince of Persia, who can come back to life after dying, thanks to a special gadget. The idea is to keep trying, dying, and getting better with upgrades. It’s a popular style of game that many people enjoy.

Even though it looks similar to Dead Cells, the moves and skills are all from Prince of Persia. You can do things like wall running and other cool acrobatics in randomly generated levels. The game has beautiful landscapes inspired by Persian architecture.

You get to pick different weapons like daggers, spears, swords, and axes, along with secondary gear like bows and grappling hooks. Each playthrough is unique. Ubisoft plans to update the game based on player feedback, adding new stuff like levels, bosses, and weapons.

The Rogue Prince of Persia was announced at a showcase for indie games. Evil Empire, the developer, isn’t big like Ubisoft, but they’ve worked on other famous games like Dead Cells with a Castlevania twist.
