Balance Before The Storm: 801 Strider’s Final Street Fighter 6 Tier List Analyzes Season 1

After the recent Capcom Cup X and with Akuma on the way, Street Fighter 6 fans are waiting for the big season 2 balance patch. Some players and content creators are sharing their wish lists for season 2 changes, while others are making final tier lists for the current version of the game.

    Street Fighter 6 Character Guide
    Street Fighter 6 Character Guide

801 Strider, a content creator, recently made a “Season 1.5” tier list for Street Fighter 6 in one of his videos.

Strider’s tier list has six categories: S rank, A+ rank, and then S, A, B, and C ranks. He also added a special “Luke” rank above the S tier, which shows how highly he rates the new character, Luke.

Initially, Strider put Luke in the S tier alongside Dee Jay, but later he decided Luke deserves his tier above everyone else. He believes Luke is the strongest character in the game right now, which is a widely accepted opinion.

One interesting pick on Strider’s list is JP. JP was very strong at the game’s launch but received nerfs in a small update with the release of DLC character Ed. Strider places JP in the A rank, around 11th overall in the game.

He mentions that while JP still has some strengths, the nerfs to certain moves have significantly affected the character’s effectiveness.

You can check out Strider’s final Street Fighter 6 tier list before season 2 arrives by watching his video. He explains why he placed each character where they are, but there’s a bit of strong language used in the video, so be aware of that.

Top-Down Takeover: Hades & Doom’s Infernal Onslaught Begins

Hell is a popular setting for video games, and games like Doom, Metal: Hellsinger, Hades, Diablo 4, and Devil Daggers have shown how exciting they can be. Now, there’s a new game called Kill Knight that takes place in a hellish world.

Top-Down Takeover: Hades & Doom’s Infernal Onslaught Begins

Kill Knight is an isometric shooter with unique, stylized graphics similar to Devil Daggers. The announcement trailer sets a dark tone, with a demonic voice describing the game’s setting as a “castle, a place below hell itself.”

In the game, you play as a knight whose corpse is inside a suit of armor, fighting against hordes of enemies using a sword and gun.

Kill Knight will feature various weapons and intense battles inspired by Doom, where your speed and damage increase the longer you survive (known as “Kill Power”). The game will also have different difficulty levels for players to challenge themselves.

We don’t have a specific release date yet for Kill Knight, but it’s expected to come out sometime this year. You can find more information on its Steam page if you’re interested in learning more.

  • Xbox Drops A Beauty: Stunning New Console Hits Stores Soon!

Xbox Drops A Beauty: Stunning New Console Hits Stores Soon!

If you’ve always wanted a special Xbox console, there’s another chance coming up soon, it seems.

Xbox has teamed up with rapper Ken Carson to create a limited edition console featuring his ‘X’ logo.

This collaboration hasn’t been officially announced by Xbox yet, so keep in mind that these details might change. The leaked images show a silver Xbox Series X console with Ken Carson’s logo on the front.

The console also comes with a unique black controller that has a zipper on one side. There’s also a small black case with the X logo, probably meant for storing the controller.

The most interesting part is that the black case is marked as “Limited Edition 01/50,” suggesting there will only be 50 of these consoles made.

We don’t know yet how fans can try to get one of these 50 consoles. Sometimes, limited edition consoles are given away as prizes, but there are usually only a few available.

We’ll have to wait to find out if that’s how it will work this time or if they will be for sale. We also need confirmation from Xbox that this collaboration is real.

If you’re curious about the next Xbox console, it’s being worked on. Xbox’s Sarah Bond recently talked about a big improvement coming with the new hardware, which should get you excited.

But it’s expected that both Xbox and PlayStation’s new consoles won’t be out until 2027.

  • Honkai: Star Rail 2.2: Everything You Need To Know From The Leaks

Honkai: Star Rail 2.2: Everything You Need To Know From The Leaks

One of the new characters in Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 is getting a nerf, according to a new leak. Version 2.2 will continue the main story in Penacony, a setting introduced in Version 2.0 and expanded upon in Version 2.1 missions.

What exactly will be in the upcoming patch is still a bit mysterious, but HoYoverse has confirmed that at least two new heroes will be added.

There’s also a leak suggesting that a third character might be available through a rumored new Trailblazer form, although the developer hasn’t teased this yet.

    Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 Leaks

The two characters revealed for Version 2.2 are Boothill and Robin. Boothill has been teased as someone who contacts Acheron, though we’ve only heard his voice in a call that was picked up by Black Swan. Robin, on the other hand, has been through some mysterious events in the story.

    Boothill Overworld Nerf
    byu/noteggs_ inHonkaiStarRail_leaks

Now, a new leak obtained by HomDGCat and shared on Reddit reveals that Boothill is being nerfed in a significant way, even before his official release. The leak says that Boothill’s attack range in the overworld is being shortened.

According to the leak, Boothill’s attack distance is going from 40 meters to 15 meters. This means he can’t start fights from as far away, bringing him closer to the attack range used by ranged characters.

The leak compares Boothill’s new attack range to other characters in the game: March 7th attacks up to 14.4 meters, Bronya’s attack range is 14 meters, and Qingque’s strike reaches 12 meters. This comparison led to some jokes about Boothill in the Reddit comments.

Despite the nerf, Boothill remains a long-distance attacker, and his new leaked range still gives him an advantage when starting combat. Some users mentioned that Boothill’s firearm now has a similar range to Qingque throwing a mahjong tile.

While the nerf might not make sense logically (since real handgun bullets can travel much farther), it does make sense for gameplay. If Boothill’s attack range stayed at 40 meters, players could start battles from too far away, never needing to worry about being ambushed.

There’s a chance that Boothill’s attack range might be adjusted further before Version 2.2 arrives. HoYoverse has only revealed that Boothill is a Physical character who follows the Path of the Hunt, and he’s confirmed to be a Galaxy Ranger, likely a DPS unit in Honkai: Star Rail.

  • WoW Says “No More Grind!” Mists Of Pandaria Remix Makes Leveling Fun

WoW Says “No More Grind!” Mists Of Pandaria Remix Makes Leveling Fun

Fresh off the surprise Plunderstorm event in World of Warcraft, Blizzard has another exciting update: WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria.

The original Mists of Pandaria expansion from 2012 is still part of the game, but WoW Remix is a special version. In this version, players create new characters and level up quickly by playing through the old Mists of Pandaria zones.

Even though it’s an older expansion, Blizzard has added new items and progression systems to make the experience feel fresh.

During this event, it’s easier than ever to get cool transmog items, mounts, and new variants that will carry over to the upcoming expansion, The War Within. The characters you create for this event will also continue in the game.

One of the exciting things about WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is the introduction of powerful new gear and gems that can change how your character plays.

For example, the Wildfire gem can make all your abilities cause fire damage over time, and even non-Mage classes can use a short-distance teleport.

There’s also an Artifact cloak that gains power as you play, and the progress you make with it carries over to future characters in the event.

In this version of the game, instead of selling unwanted gear, you can turn it into a new currency called Bronze. You can use Bronze to buy items, cosmetics, and mounts from the original Mists of Pandaria that might be hard to get otherwise.

Think of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria like WoW Classic but in the current version of the game. You don’t need the latest expansion to play—just a WoW subscription.

Leveling new characters in WoW can be boring, so this is a fun way to level up before the new expansion, The War Within, comes out.

These new features will come with the 10.2.7 update, which is the final chapter of Dragonflight, setting the stage for The War Within’s release later this year. The update doesn’t have a release date yet but will come after Dragonflight Season 4 starts on April 23.

Blizzard’s announcement of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria follows a new agreement with Netease, a Chinese gaming company, to bring WoW and other Blizzard games back to China this summer after being unavailable there for a year and a half.

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is just one of the exciting surprises Blizzard has added to its MMO, including a limited-time battle royale mode released in March.

Is This Real? Stunning Assassin’s Creed: Victory Footage Surfaces

It’s always fascinating to peek behind the scenes of how games, movies, TV shows, comic books, and more are made. Today, we’re getting an early look at Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate came out in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It stars Jacob and Evie Frye, who are twin protagonists. The game is set in 1868, which was the end of England’s Industrial Revolution.

Some people don’t think of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate as one of the best games in the Ubisoft series. But I loved it, and many fans still appreciate its underrated open world.

Recently, early gameplay footage from the production of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was shared by a Reddit user named Seatheowerouch via the Internet Archive.

The game was originally codenamed “Victory,” and from the early teaser, it seemed to have a darker, grittier feel compared to the final release, which became known as Syndicate.

In response to this early footage, Reddit users have been imagining what the game could have been. One user, KvasirTheOld, said, “Man, AC’s Victory could have been such a cool game. I like Syndicate, but I feel like it somehow lacked the gritty and dark atmosphere you’d expect for that period in England.”

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War Set To Debut At Xbox Showcase In June

It’s been an exciting 24 hours for Xbox Showcase rumors. According to Tom Warren at The Verge, this year’s Call of Duty game, Black Ops Gulf War, will be featured at the Xbox Showcase.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Release Date
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Release Date

We confirm this plan, but the game will be revealed before the showcase in a more traditional way, not within Warzone like previous titles since 2020. Usually, Call of Duty games were revealed in big live events in the free Battle Royale game mode, Warzone.

Black Ops Gulf War is expected to be revealed before June’s Summer Games Fest. At the showcase, we’ll likely get a detailed look at the game, possibly with a walkthrough of a campaign mission if they follow the usual style.

More details about multiplayer might come around August, and news about zombies mode will likely follow. The game is set to be released in October.

As mentioned before, this year’s Call of Duty will have an open-world campaign made by Raven Software, while Treyarch Games will handle the multiplayer and zombie modes.

It’s also been hinted that Xbox is preparing to announce its plans for the games it acquired from Activision Blizzard, which might mean more Call of Duty news in June.

What do you think about Call of Duty returning to a more traditional way of revealing its games?

  • ‘Stellar Blade’ Sweetens The Deal: New Game Plus Mode Announced, Minimal Microtransactions

‘Stellar Blade’ Sweetens The Deal: New Game Plus Mode Announced, Minimal Microtransactions

Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung Tae has revealed some exciting news about the upcoming action game from developer ShiftUp.

In a recent interview with Ruliweb, Tae announced that Stellar Blade will introduce a New Game+ mode after its launch. Additionally, Tae assured players that the game will not include any hidden microtransactions, except for potential collaborations with other companies’ intellectual properties (IP).

    Stellar Blade
    Stellar Blade

According to translations from Genki_JPN on Twitter, Tae clarified that while Stellar Blade won’t have New Game+ right away, it will be added in a future update. They emphasized that players won’t encounter unexpected costs beyond the game’s initial purchase price.

“We want to assure players that Stellar Blade won’t require additional spending beyond what they’ve already paid,” Tae told Ruliweb. “The only possible exception would be if we create collaboration costumes with another company’s IP, which might be sold separately.”

At this point, no collaborations have been confirmed, suggesting that Tae’s comments are speculative. However, given the success of ShiftUp’s mobile game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, fans might anticipate potential crossovers between these titles.

    Also Read:

Stellar Blade, originally announced as Project EVE in 2021, is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on April 26. A demo of the game is currently available on the PlayStation Network (PSN) for those interested in trying out the gameplay before its official release.

  • Helldivers 2 Players Ahead: Testing Next Week’s New Guns And Exciting Rocket Launcher

Helldivers 2 Players Ahead: Testing Next Week’s New Guns And Exciting Rocket Launcher

A new Helldivers 2 update is coming next week, but some players are already trying out the new guns and rocket launcher from the upcoming release called Democratic Detonation.

Thousands of players are watching sneak peeks of the new weapons, like a grenade pistol, explosive crossbow, and a scoped rifle that shoots special bullets with jet assistance. But what caught my attention was the leaked rocket launcher.

Helldivers 2 Weapon Tier List (1)
Helldivers 2 Weapon Tier List (1)

The leaks are coming from YouTuber WiLLiSGaming, who got the gameplay from someone using cheat software to access the new content. This has become more common as Helldivers developers hide future content in the game’s files.

Before we can try the new guns ourselves, here are a few things I noticed from the leaked gameplay:

    • The grenade pistol is great for shutting down spawners from a distance, although it reloads slowly and has limited ammo.
    • The Adjudicator looks like a powerful but slow assault rifle, with impacts that stagger enemies more than usual.
    • The Eruptor seems perfect for hitting bot headshots with explosive ammo and a scope, despite its slower fire rate.

Many players are excited about the Airburst Rocket Launcher, which has been talked about in leaks for a while. It looks like a classic RPG with oblong rockets that explode on impact, creating a cloud of smaller explosions.

The video shows it wiping out groups of enemies and even taking down a Charger. The Airburst Rocket Launcher is designed to be effective against airborne enemies like Shriekers and Gunships.

It might not do as much damage to single targets as the Quasar Cannon, but its area-of-effect damage makes it great against clumped-up enemies.

Based on recent news, it seems like anti-air weaponry is being developed quickly, so the Airburst Launcher could be the next big stratagem in Helldivers 2.

  • Helldivers 2 Arms Up! New Weapons For Intense Galactic Warfare

Helldivers 2 Arms Up! New Weapons For Intense Galactic Warfare

It feels like just yesterday we got the last premium war bond for Helldivers 2, called Cutting Edge. But I haven’t finished it yet, and now there’s another one coming next week. It’s called Democratic Detonation, and it’s all about explosions.

According to the PlayStation Blog, Democratic Detonation brings four guns, a grenade, a booster, and three types of armor (light, medium, and heavy):

    • BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle: A rifle that automatically penetrates armor.
    • R-36 Eruptor Rifle: A rifle that shoots shells assisted by jets, which explode on impact.
    • CB-9 Exploding Crossbow: A crossbow that shoots explosive bolts.
    • GP-31 Grenade Pistol: A secondary pistol that shoots one grenade per reload.
    • G-123 Thermite Grenade: A sticky grenade that burns when it hits.

We think the armor sets will all have the same special ability, but we don’t know what it is yet. The Cutting Edge perk makes us think that the Democratic Detonation perk might also resist explosions. I’ve always dreamed of throwing a grenade without worrying about blowing myself up.

As for the weapons, I’m most interested in the Adjudicator. I love reliable automatic rifles in Helldivers. I’ve been using the Sickle a lot since the Cutting Edge warbond came out.

I’m glad the Adjudicator seems like a new gun, not just a variation of something else. It looks like a mix of a real-life M4 and a rifle from Mass Effect.

Democratic Detonation comes out on Thursday, April 11. This is the second post-release war bond announced just a week before its release, and almost a month after the last one. Helldivers 2 seems to be setting a schedule for its premium updates: one war bond per month.

That’s pretty fast, considering all the other cool things happening in the game. Remember, past premium warbonds won’t disappear when Democratic Detonation comes out. So don’t feel rushed to finish them before next week.

  • Red Dead Redemption 2: Arthur’s Redemption – Your FREE Ticket To The Wild West!

Red Dead Redemption 2: Arthur’s Redemption – Your FREE Ticket To The Wild West!

We consider the ending of Red Dead Redemption 2. It is something. There are excellent endings in video games, and then there’s the ending to Red Dead Redemption 2.

Arthur Morgan’s final journey and eventual passing are some of the most emotional moments in video game history. When our hero loses his battle with illness but manages to give John Marston a chance for a better life, it’s truly moving.

Is Red Dead Redemption 2 Cross Platform

I was convinced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be remembered as one of the best games ever.

But what if Arthur didn’t die? That’s the question the creator of Red Dead Redemption: Arthur’s Redemption is asking. It’s a question I’m not sure many of us wanted answered, but I’m glad to see someone exploring it.

“Arthur’s story doesn’t end in chapter six,” says the mod’s creator. “He’s healthy again, and you can go on a new adventure with him and what’s left of the gang. Places like Blackwater, Tall Trees, Great Plains, and New Austin are all open for Arthur to explore.”

The main idea of this mod is to let you play through much of the game’s ending as Arthur Morgan, which is pretty neat. It also adds some fun extras, like new camps for you to live in with the remaining gang members. Of course, characters like Lenny, Micah, and Dutch are no longer around.

In short, if you’ve ever wished for a world where Arthur didn’t get sick and could save the gang, this mod is for you. No need to replay chapter two over and over just to feel something.

  • ‘Star Wars Game’ Conquers New Territory – Can You Guess The Platform?

‘Star Wars Game’ Conquers New Territory – Can You Guess The Platform?

In a big surprise, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is coming to PC. It’s been more than eight years since the game first came out. Originally, it was only available on phones and tablets. Now, it’s finally coming to computers.

Star Wars video games have been doing well lately. “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,” released in 2023, was a hit with both critics and players. And there’s excitement building for “Star Wars Outlaws,” set to come out this year.

Plus, there’s good news about the remake of “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” after a quiet period.

In an email interview with Game Informer, it was announced that Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is making the jump to PC. This new version will look even better, with smoother graphics and sharper images.

The layout will be adjusted for PC screens. And the best part? Players won’t lose their progress. They can keep going right where they left off.

If you’ve been playing on mobile, you can try out the PC version early by signing up for beta access. The beta starts in May and will open up to more players later on. It’s a cool chance to see how the game plays on a different platform.

Since it launched in 2015, the folks behind the game have been adding new stuff regularly. With all the new Star Wars movies, TV shows, and games that have come out, they’ve had a lot to work with.

They’ve brought in characters from the sequels, “The Mandalorian,” and “The Bad Batch.” There are still some characters missing, but overall, the game has a great lineup.

Hopefully, this PC release means we’ll see more of Galaxy of Heroes in the future. There are more Star Wars projects on the way, and it’d be awesome to see those characters join the game. With new content always coming, it’s fun to imagine what the best teams might look like with characters from upcoming projects.
