    Assassin’s Creed Red will take us to feudal Japan, where we’ll follow the story of a male samurai, possibly inspired by Yasuke, and a female shinobi named Naoi/Naoe. Like other Assassin’s Creed games, it will involve assassins battling the Templar Order, but the unique setting of feudal Japan is expected to breathe new life into the series.

    PC_Focus on Twitter shared insights from a game tester, offering hints about the plot, gameplay, and even a possible release date. The game is set from 1450 onwards and features multiple time jumps, starting with a village under attack.

    Players can choose to play as the male or female character, each with their backstory, although switching between them will only be possible in specific shelters.

    Gameplay-wise, parkour will be a major focus, with improvements reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed Unity. You’ll be able to navigate cities without touching the ground much, and grip will play a key role in parkour and climbing. Challenges and puzzles will also test your parkour skills.

    The developers want Assassin’s Creed Red to feel more grounded and less fantastical than previous games. They aim for a Fall 2024 release, suggesting it might come out between September and November, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

    In terms of gameplay, there are many new features expected, like the ability to lie down and hide in tall grass, use a grappling hook, hide in shadows, and put out lights to your advantage.

    You’ll be able to switch between a male samurai and a female shinobi named Naoi. Naoi can use weapons like kunai, shuriken, smoke bombs, and bells. There might be more weapons, including gunners called Ashigaru.

    Once you beat him, he’ll drop the Chains of Hades, along with a weapon called Hades’ Harbinger SMG and something called a Fortnite Aspect of the Gods. These items will be helpful for different challenges.

    If you don’t want to fight Hades, you can still find the Chains of Hades by searching in big chests found around The Underworld, Grim Gate, Mount Olympus, and Brawler’s Battleground areas. But remember, it’s all about luck whether you find the weapon in those chests or not.

    Right now, there are four different Olympian Bosses in the battle royale game. I’ve shown where you can find them on the map above.

    If you’ve already fought and beaten Hades to get the Fortnite Chains of Hades, then you don’t need to worry about him anymore. Your best chance to use the Chains of Hades on an Olympian Boss is to go southeast to Grim Gate and find Cerberus there.

    But if you got the Chains of Hades from a god chest, you can use it on any of the four Olympian Bosses. Just be aware that someone else might have already defeated them, so you’ll need to act fast. Remember, you only need to hit the boss once with the Chains of Hades to complete this quest.

    About six months later, South Korea’s National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) gave the thumbs up to a new Microsoft gadget. The listing, found on March 18 and shared by Twitter user KoreaXboxNews, calls it an “XDK console.”

    This suggests it’s an Xbox dev kit, a special version of a system made to help game developers with tools for testing and debugging. The last time Microsoft got this certification in South Korea was on June 11, 2020, just before they officially announced the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.

    This new certified device is called model number 2089. The Series X and Series S dev kits had different model numbers, 1882 and 1881/1883. The NRRA said this new console comes from China and Vietnam, which is the same as the Xbox Series X and Series S.
