Sometimes, there are so many great games available on PlayStation’s subscription service that some gems don’t get the attention they deserve. Luckily, fellow PlayStation Plus subscribers often recommend games that are worth playing before they disappear.

This month, many users on Reddit recommended trying out a charming indie game called The Artful Escape before it leaves the service. Here are some comments from the community:

“The Artful Escape is a short indie game. Easy to play. Very nice mix of colors and music.”

“Also, I recommend The Messenger, Abzu, and The Artful Escape.”

For those unfamiliar with The Artful Escape, it’s a short platform game where you control a guitarist named Francis exploring a world filled with music and melodies. Along the way, you’ll battle bosses as you help Francis escape his world.

The game is relatively short, lasting just over four hours for a single playthrough according to HowLongToBeat. It’s also a good way to earn PlayStation trophies.

  • Mists Of Pandaria Remix Loses Steam: World Of Warcraft Removes Key Feature

Mists Of Pandaria Remix Loses Steam: World Of Warcraft Removes Key Feature

World of Warcraft made changes to their WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event announcement. Originally, they mentioned adding more character slots for players.

This would have been useful for those who already have 60 characters on their account. However, they quietly removed this part of the announcement.

Now, players who want to join the WoW Remix event will need to use one of their existing 60-character slots. Even though Blizzard might still add more slots in the future with Patch 10.2.7, it’s uncertain based on the announcement change.

Most players don’t have 60 characters, especially all at maximum level, but some who love having many characters (“altaholics”) may need to say goodbye to one to participate.

The WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event is a popular throwback experience with faster leveling and lots of new rewards. It connects to the Dragonflight lore with Infinite Dragons, making it exciting for collectors, raiders, and lore fans.

Meanwhile, the Plunderstorm PvP event is ending on April 30, but there will be double Renown gains in the last two weeks. Players can still enjoy this pirate-themed event before Patch 10.2.7 arrives around mid-May.

Microsoft is sending out an update for Xbox consoles this month with some useful features to know about.

One new feature is Discord soundboard interactions. If you use soundboards on Discord while playing, this lets you hear and use sound clips straight from your board. You can turn this off by going to the Xbox guide, then into settings, and finding the soundboard section.

Another handy update is for people who save their gaming pictures and videos to OneDrive. Now, Xbox will let you know if your OneDrive is low on space, which is helpful if you don’t often check your storage.

For families sharing a console, there’s a new option to control who can download games or apps. You can block some users to save space or protect younger players. To do this, go to settings, then system, and access restrictions.

Tekken 8: Sharpen Your Skills! Version 1.03.02 Update Arrives Today With Server Maintenance

Tekken 8 recently got an update (Version 1.03.01) that added Eddy Gordo and a battle pass, but it also brought some new problems to the game.

Now, Bandai Namco is releasing another patch (Version 1.03.02) today to fix those issues. To do this, they need to do server maintenance.

The maintenance will start tonight, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. PDT / 9:30 p.m. EDT and will go on until about midnight PDT / 3 a.m. EDT. During this time, online features like matches, lobbies, leaderboards, shops, and rewards won’t work.

The patch itself will be available to download at 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EDT on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We don’t know how big the patch will be yet.

After the update, you won’t be able to watch replays or tips from the previous game version of Tekken 8.

The patch notes mention fixing issues with Rage Art and Heat Burst moves, and changing Tornado moves back to how they were before. They’re also making adjustments to Azucena, Eddy, and Zafina.

Bandai Namco is planning another update (Version 1.04) for May. This update will focus on making weaker characters stronger, but some stronger characters might get nerfed too.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Goes Free! Download Now Before It’s Gone!

Since its debut in 2007, Assassin’s Creed has become one of Ubisoft’s most beloved series and has stayed popular over the years.

Last year, Ubisoft released the latest game in the Assassin’s Creed series called Mirage. This game took the series back to its stealth-focused roots, unlike the recent RPG-style games with large open worlds. However, it seems that the big open worlds might return this year with Assassin’s Creed Red, which reportedly features two playable protagonists.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage follows the story of Basim, a clever street thief in ninth-century Baghdad. He joins a mysterious group called the Hidden Ones and becomes a skilled Assassin, changing his destiny in unexpected ways.

If you haven’t played Assassin’s Creed Mirage yet, now is a great time to try it for free. Ubisoft is offering everyone a chance to play the latest Assassin’s Creed game without any cost. You can even experience the new permadeath mode during this free trial.

You can download and play Assassin’s Creed Mirage for free until April 30, 2024. During this trial, you have up to two hours of full access to the game. If you decide to buy the full game later, all your progress from the trial will carry over.

The free trial of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on all platforms where the game can be digitally purchased, and you don’t need a PlayStation Plus or an Xbox Game Pass subscription to participate. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is out now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Ubisoft just released another trailer for Star Wars Outlaws, this time focusing on the game’s story. The trailer introduces the smugglers and thieves you’ll team up with in the Star Wars universe. The game looks stunning, thanks to the special Snowdrop engine used by developer Massive Entertainment.

The game looks like a lot of fun. You play a character named Kay Vess, a scoundrel aiming to earn her freedom by doing jobs for the underworld’s inhabitants. The trailer includes quick glimpses of Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo frozen in carbonite, and other hidden references for eagle-eyed fans.

  • Helldivers 2 Players Spot Warbond Armor Mishap, Fix On The Way

Helldivers 2 Players Spot Warbond Armor Mishap, Fix On The Way

Yep, that new CE-27 Ground Breaker armor that came out with the latest Helldivers 2 Warbond was supposed to have a different special ability, but the developers at Arrowhead are already fixing the mix-up.

The armor was meant to have the Engineering Kit passive, which reduces recoil when you crouch or lie down by 30% and gives you extra space for grenades. However, it was released with the Servo-Assisted passive instead, which helps with something else.

The community manager, Spitz, explained on Discord that they are planning to switch it back to the correct passive ability in an upcoming update. If you were considering buying the new warbond because of this armor, you might want to wait for the fix.

Regarding the CE-27 Ground Breaker armor, there was a slight mixup that resulted in it going live with the Servo-Assisted instead of the Engineering Kit passive. This should be changed back in an upcoming hotfix.
    byu/cryptic-fox inHelldivers

Some players who already bought the warbond and like the Servo-Assisted ability are disappointed, though. They are asking for a way to change the armor’s abilities so they can keep the look they want with the abilities they prefer.

This mix-up is making more players want the option to switch abilities on their armor. The latest warbond has received mixed feedback overall, with many players agreeing that it needs some improvements, especially the rifle that’s not very good.

In the game’s revised storyline, Ermac is no longer controlled by Shao Khan but is now a collection of souls bound together by Quan Chi’s dark magic.

These souls were meant to act as one, but when Mileena defeats Ermac, one soul, Emperor Jerrod, takes charge temporarily.

Emperor Jerrod was once the ruler of Outworld and husband to Empress Sindel. While under Jerrod’s control, Ermac assists Empress Mileena in her rule.

However, Ermac’s collective souls regain control, and he retreats into the shadows of Outworld, no longer a slave to Quan Chi or tied to the royal family. Now, Ermac must forge his path and find a new purpose to fight for.

  • WoW Says “No More Grind!” Mists Of Pandaria Remix Makes Leveling Fun

WoW Says “No More Grind!” Mists Of Pandaria Remix Makes Leveling Fun

Fresh off the surprise Plunderstorm event in World of Warcraft, Blizzard has another exciting update: WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria.

The original Mists of Pandaria expansion from 2012 is still part of the game, but WoW Remix is a special version. In this version, players create new characters and level up quickly by playing through the old Mists of Pandaria zones.

Even though it’s an older expansion, Blizzard has added new items and progression systems to make the experience feel fresh.

During this event, it’s easier than ever to get cool transmog items, mounts, and new variants that will carry over to the upcoming expansion, The War Within. The characters you create for this event will also continue in the game.

One of the exciting things about WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is the introduction of powerful new gear and gems that can change how your character plays.

For example, the Wildfire gem can make all your abilities cause fire damage over time, and even non-Mage classes can use a short-distance teleport.

There’s also an Artifact cloak that gains power as you play, and the progress you make with it carries over to future characters in the event.

In this version of the game, instead of selling unwanted gear, you can turn it into a new currency called Bronze. You can use Bronze to buy items, cosmetics, and mounts from the original Mists of Pandaria that might be hard to get otherwise.

Think of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria like WoW Classic but in the current version of the game. You don’t need the latest expansion to play—just a WoW subscription.

Leveling new characters in WoW can be boring, so this is a fun way to level up before the new expansion, The War Within, comes out.

These new features will come with the 10.2.7 update, which is the final chapter of Dragonflight, setting the stage for The War Within’s release later this year. The update doesn’t have a release date yet but will come after Dragonflight Season 4 starts on April 23.

Blizzard’s announcement of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria follows a new agreement with Netease, a Chinese gaming company, to bring WoW and other Blizzard games back to China this summer after being unavailable there for a year and a half.

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is just one of the exciting surprises Blizzard has added to its MMO, including a limited-time battle royale mode released in March.

  • Call Of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War Set To Debut At Xbox Showcase In June

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War Set To Debut At Xbox Showcase In June

It’s been an exciting 24 hours for Xbox Showcase rumors. According to Tom Warren at The Verge, this year’s Call of Duty game, Black Ops Gulf War, will be featured at the Xbox Showcase.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Release Date
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Release Date

We confirm this plan, but the game will be revealed before the showcase in a more traditional way, not within Warzone like previous titles since 2020. Usually, Call of Duty games were revealed in big live events in the free Battle Royale game mode, Warzone.

Black Ops Gulf War is expected to be revealed before June’s Summer Games Fest. At the showcase, we’ll likely get a detailed look at the game, possibly with a walkthrough of a campaign mission if they follow the usual style.

More details about multiplayer might come around August, and news about zombies mode will likely follow. The game is set to be released in October.

As mentioned before, this year’s Call of Duty will have an open-world campaign made by Raven Software, while Treyarch Games will handle the multiplayer and zombie modes.

It’s also been hinted that Xbox is preparing to announce its plans for the games it acquired from Activision Blizzard, which might mean more Call of Duty news in June.

What do you think about Call of Duty returning to a more traditional way of revealing its games?

  • Red Dead Redemption 2: Arthur’s Redemption – Your FREE Ticket To The Wild West!

Red Dead Redemption 2: Arthur’s Redemption – Your FREE Ticket To The Wild West!

We consider the ending of Red Dead Redemption 2. It is something. There are excellent endings in video games, and then there’s the ending to Red Dead Redemption 2.

Arthur Morgan’s final journey and eventual passing are some of the most emotional moments in video game history. When our hero loses his battle with illness but manages to give John Marston a chance for a better life, it’s truly moving.

Is Red Dead Redemption 2 Cross Platform

I was convinced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be remembered as one of the best games ever.

But what if Arthur didn’t die? That’s the question the creator of Red Dead Redemption: Arthur’s Redemption is asking. It’s a question I’m not sure many of us wanted answered, but I’m glad to see someone exploring it.

“Arthur’s story doesn’t end in chapter six,” says the mod’s creator. “He’s healthy again, and you can go on a new adventure with him and what’s left of the gang. Places like Blackwater, Tall Trees, Great Plains, and New Austin are all open for Arthur to explore.”

The main idea of this mod is to let you play through much of the game’s ending as Arthur Morgan, which is pretty neat. It also adds some fun extras, like new camps for you to live in with the remaining gang members. Of course, characters like Lenny, Micah, and Dutch are no longer around.

In short, if you’ve ever wished for a world where Arthur didn’t get sick and could save the gang, this mod is for you. No need to replay chapter two over and over just to feel something.

  • ‘Star Wars Game’ Conquers New Territory – Can You Guess The Platform?

‘Star Wars Game’ Conquers New Territory – Can You Guess The Platform?

In a big surprise, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is coming to PC. It’s been more than eight years since the game first came out. Originally, it was only available on phones and tablets. Now, it’s finally coming to computers.

Star Wars video games have been doing well lately. “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,” released in 2023, was a hit with both critics and players. And there’s excitement building for “Star Wars Outlaws,” set to come out this year.

Plus, there’s good news about the remake of “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” after a quiet period.

In an email interview with Game Informer, it was announced that Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is making the jump to PC. This new version will look even better, with smoother graphics and sharper images.

The layout will be adjusted for PC screens. And the best part? Players won’t lose their progress. They can keep going right where they left off.

If you’ve been playing on mobile, you can try out the PC version early by signing up for beta access. The beta starts in May and will open up to more players later on. It’s a cool chance to see how the game plays on a different platform.

Since it launched in 2015, the folks behind the game have been adding new stuff regularly. With all the new Star Wars movies, TV shows, and games that have come out, they’ve had a lot to work with.

They’ve brought in characters from the sequels, “The Mandalorian,” and “The Bad Batch.” There are still some characters missing, but overall, the game has a great lineup.

Hopefully, this PC release means we’ll see more of Galaxy of Heroes in the future. There are more Star Wars projects on the way, and it’d be awesome to see those characters join the game. With new content always coming, it’s fun to imagine what the best teams might look like with characters from upcoming projects.

‘GTA 6’ Who? ‘Bully’ Sequel Confirmed by Rockstar, Fans Go Wild

Guess what? Rockstar Games has confirmed that Bully is coming back! Fans are super excited about this news. There have been rumors about Bully returning or even a Bully 2 for a while now.

    Bully 2
    Bully 2

Back in December 2023, there was a big leak about GTA VI, and it seemed like Bully 2 was confirmed. This got fans even more excited, especially since some hidden Bully stuff was found in GTA V.

But now, Rockstar officially announced that Bully is coming back. They mentioned it in an article where they talked about adding more classic games to their library. Although it’s not exactly the news fans were hoping for, they’re still happy to return to the world of Bully.

But hey, while we wait for Bully, we still have GTA VI to look forward to. Even though some players are upset about not knowing the exact release date, others are busy getting excited about the cool weather effects in the game.

We don’t know the exact release date for GTA VI yet, just that it’s coming sometime in 2025. Rockstar seems to be on track for that, but who knows what might happen before then.
