  • Helldivers 2 Just Got Deadlier: AT-AT Walkers And Gunships Unleashed!

Helldivers 2 Just Got Deadlier: AT-AT Walkers And Gunships Unleashed!

Something major is happening in Helldivers 2! Following a major update that balanced the game and some players noticing unusual ships, two new threats have emerged on Automaton planets.

First off, there’s this huge thing called the Factory Strider. It’s like a giant walking fortress with four legs. It’s got big laser guns, miniguns, and even a factory on board that spits out more bad guys as it moves around. And guess what? It’s not easy to find weak spots on this thing, says someone on Reddit.

NEW ROBOT ENEMY, it has a cannon, laser mini guns and spawns devastators under it. Its called a Factory Strider and it is one heavy boy with no easy to find vents.

Then there are these new gunships zooming around. They’re like speedy versions of those ships that drop off robots, but they shoot at us from the sky.

We thought we knew what they were before, but it turns out they’re different and they attack in groups. They shoot lasers and missiles, but we don’t know much else about them.

According to some other folks on Reddit, these gunships have a secret spot where they come from, sort of like a nest. And they’re really tough.

They’re armored flying machines with tons of firepower. And if you’re in an area with a couple of factories, you might have to deal with six of these things at once! Scary stuff, huh?

  • PlayStation 6 Price Shock: Leaker Warns Of Higher Cost Compared To Next Xbox

PlayStation 6 Price Shock: Leaker Warns Of Higher Cost Compared To Next Xbox

It feels like just yesterday we were talking about the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but they’re not old yet. They’re probably about halfway through their lives. Sony says the PS5 is in its “latter stages,” but it’s only been around for three years, so it probably has about three more to go.

Playstation 6 and the Next Xbox

We might see new-gen consoles in 2027 or 2028, but that’s not set in stone. We don’t know much about the PlayStation 6, but Xbox’s next-gen console is teased to be a big leap in technology, according to Sarah Bond from Xbox.

There’s a rumor that the next Xbox might be a bit cheaper than the PS6. Some say it’ll have a slightly weaker CPU, which could make it cheaper. But it’s all speculation for now, so don’t get too excited.

If the next Xbox is cheaper, it would be a change from before. The PS5 and Xbox Series X were similar in price, but the PS4 was cheaper than the Xbox One.

We are not sure if the rumor is true, especially since Xbox’s Sarah Bond hinted at a big technical leap. So, take it with a grain of salt until we hear more.

  • Helldivers 2 Player Unlocks Game-Changing Stratagem Trick

Helldivers 2 Player Unlocks Game-Changing Stratagem Trick

A clever player in Helldivers 2 has found a cool trick with the new LAS-99 Quasar Cannon Stratagem. It can help a lot with automation objectives, making them easier to complete. In Helldivers 2, there are lots of weapons you can use, but this new one might be one of the best.

In the game, Stratagems are powerful tools you can use to get extra help on the battlefield. They range from big attacks to helpful tools.

The latest addition is the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, which you can call in when things get tough. It’s especially good against Automatons, not so much against Terminids. And one player figured out why.

A player on Reddit named BS_Bruz noticed something cool about the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon. They saw that if you aim it just right, you can destroy Automaton fabricators from far away.

Normally, you’d have to get close and throw a grenade in, which can be risky because Automatons are tough. Using this new Stratagem instead could be a safer option, especially on harder levels.

Players in the discussion talked about other ways to use the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon too. One player said you could take out tanks and turret towers with it, and even shoot down Automaton dropships in one hit.

The LAS-99 Quasar Cannon is new to Helldivers 2, but it’s already a favorite for many players. We’ll have to wait and see if the game developers think it’s too strong and nerf it in a future update.

As players keep finding cool stuff in the game, the developers at Arrowhead Game Studios are always adding new stuff to keep things fresh.

The game has been a big hit, so they’re doing a great job keeping players entertained with updates. With Helldivers 2 still selling well, you can bet there will be more updates coming.

  • Did You Catch That? Classic Advanced Warfare Weapon Hidden In Rebirth Island Trailer

Did You Catch That? Classic Advanced Warfare Weapon Hidden In Rebirth Island Trailer

The trailer for Warzone Season 3 showed us some exciting stuff. Not only is the Resurgence map back, but it looks like the MORS sniper rifle from Advanced Warfare might be coming back too.

In Advanced Warfare, there were lots of cool futuristic weapons, and the MORS was one of them. It’s a bolt-action railgun sniper rifle that’s fast to use, which made it popular for quick shooting.

Now, in the Rebirth Island trailer, we see a version of the MORS without a scope. It’s being held by a soldier on a helicopter.

If the MORS does show up in Season 3, it’ll be the first time we’ve seen it in a Call of Duty game since 2014. It was supposed to be in COD Mobile too, but for some reason, they didn’t include it.

Like other DLC weapons in the past, you’ll probably be able to unlock the MORS by playing through the Season 3 Battle Pass.

But the MORS isn’t the only weapon from Advanced Warfare making a comeback. Leaks are saying the BAL-27 assault rifle will be back too. This gun was a big deal in Advanced Warfare multiplayer.

It’ll be interesting to see how the MORS changes things in Warzone. In Season 2, snipers got a boost when the XRK Stalker was improved, so we’ll have to wait and see how the MORS shakes up the game.

  • Steam On Xbox Could Be A Game-Changer – Here’s Why?

Steam On Xbox Could Be A Game-Changer – Here’s Why?

Big changes are happening at Xbox. It all started when Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, talked about changing the company’s strategy in February.

Some people thought Xbox games like Starfield and Indiana Jones might come to PlayStation, but that turned out to be wrong. However, Spencer did say that Xbox would try releasing some of its games on other consoles.

    Xbox Series X Black Friday
    Xbox Series X Black Friday

They announced that games like Pentiment, Grounded, Sea of Thieves, and Hi-Fi Rush would be available on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. This move could be smart for business, as Xbox is now looking at what games to release next.

There are also rumors about Xbox making a handheld gaming device. Plus, Sarah Bond from Xbox hinted that the next Xbox console would be a big jump in technology.

This is quite different from Xbox’s quiet year in 2022. It seems like that year made them work harder.

Fans of Xbox have a lot to be excited about, including the chance of Steam and other stores coming to Xbox. Spencer wants to bring more games from other platforms to Xbox too.

In an interview, Spencer said he’s open to having stores like the Epic Games Store and Steam on Xbox. He thinks giving players more choices is important, just like on a PC.

Spencer also talked about how making consoles cheaper is hard now. He believes in removing barriers for players and game makers.

In the end, making games available to more people brings more joy to everyone.

  • Destiny 2 Just Made Its Best Grenade Launcher Easier To Get

Destiny 2 Just Made Its Best Grenade Launcher Easier To Get

The Into The Light update for Destiny 2 is bringing back the Forbearance grenade launcher, which has been a favorite among players for a long time. This update is great news for players who haven’t completed Raids before or for those who don’t own certain DLCs.

Along with Forbearance, other iconic weapons from Destiny 2’s past are also making a comeback. This includes some weapons that were previously retired from the game.

Forbearance, in particular, was a popular weapon in PvE activities. It will now be available as a reward in the Into The Light update. Players can earn it by spending Trophies of Bravery, a new currency earned in Onslaught activities.

This update is significant because it makes Forbearance accessible to more players, including those who don’t raid or who haven’t bought specific DLCs required to access certain content.

The reissued Forbearance won’t be the same as the original Raid-exclusive version. It will come with new perks, although the full list hasn’t been revealed yet. However, Bungie has confirmed that it will now roll Disruption Break.

Forbearance has always been known for its ability to clear out enemies quickly, especially with certain perks. With these perks returning in the reissued version, even casual players will have a chance to get their hands on one of the best grenade launchers in Destiny 2.

  • Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Is Coming: Say Goodbye To Save Slot Woes

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Is Coming: Say Goodbye To Save Slot Woes

Dragon’s Dogma 2 came out last week and got a mix of good and bad reviews. People liked playing it, but some got upset because it has microtransactions, which means you can buy stuff in the game with real money. Also, some players had technical problems.

Today, Capcom said they’ll fix some of these issues soon, but they’ll work on making the game run smoother later. Still, the quick fixes will help.

They’re also making some other changes to make the game better. Now, you can buy more items to change how your character looks after you’ve already made them. Before, you could only buy a few, but now you can get a lot more.

It’s also easier to get a house in the game, which is important because it affects your health and the items your companions find. At first, it’s hard to afford to sleep at an inn or campsite, but once you have a house, you can rest for free.

There are also some changes for players on consoles and Steam. Console players can adjust the graphics a bit, but it won’t make the game run faster. Steam players will see better graphics when using a feature called DLSS Super Resolution, and some low-quality models will be fixed.

  • PS5 Big Update: UI Overhaul, New Features, And More!

PS5 Big Update: UI Overhaul, New Features, And More!

While we’re waiting for Sony to tell us about the PS5 Pro, there’s some cool stuff coming in a new software update. YouTuber Mystic talked about it in a video on Thursday.

One big change is a battery widget and the option to pick a live wallpaper for the Explore tab. Speaking of Explore, it’s getting a makeover. Now, it shows more info like battery levels for controllers and connected gadgets like the Pulse Elite. There’s also a Console Storage tab to check how much space you have left.

On the right side, you’ll see stuff like game captures, news, your wishlist, and online things like your friends list and what they’re up to.

You can now set custom backgrounds for Explore, but they only show up there, not on the whole PS5. You can pick if you want to see stuff from friends or solo.

These changes are just for the U.S. right now. Sorry, rest of the world!

This update comes after System Update 9.00 last week, which made small improvements like better sound on the controller and more screen share options.

  • First-Person Mode Coming To Fortnite In 2024: What’s The Catch?

First-Person Mode Coming To Fortnite In 2024: What’s The Catch?

Fortnite is getting a first-person mode later this year, and fans are excited about it. Usually, Fortnite is played from a third-person perspective, but fans have always wanted a first-person view too.

They kind of got their wish when new weapons let them aim down sights, making it feel more like games such as Call of Duty.

At the State of Unreal event in 2024, Epic Games announced lots of cool stuff for Fortnite. They talked about Fall Guys coming to the game and how they’ll switch to something called UEFN for battle royale in 2025. But what got everyone talking was the news about the first-person mode.

People have been talking about this for a while, so seeing it confirmed made fans happy. Some even joked that now they can play Fortnite like Call of Duty. But not everyone was thrilled. Some worried that Fortnite was trying too hard to be like another game called Warzone.

But here’s the thing: the first-person mode is only for the Creator tools in UEFN, not for regular Fortnite games. We don’t know if this will change in the future, but for now, it’s just for creators to play around with. There’s no date for when it’ll be available yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.

  • New Xbox Controller Release Date Leaks! Get The Latest Info Here

New Xbox Controller Release Date Leaks! Get The Latest Info Here

According to a source who often reveals secret data before it is announced, the next Xbox controller will be called the Nocturnal Vapor. They believe it will be released in April, possibly in the first half of the month. This new controller could be a powerful competitor to Sony’s DualSense, a PlayStation controller.

Normally, new Microsoft controllers are not leaked until a few weeks before their release. But this one was different. It was leaked online back in September 2023. This occurred as a result of a mistake by the Federal Trade Commission, a government agency.

During a legal battle over Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, they mistakenly leaked some secret Microsoft documents. These docs displayed the controller’s black-and-white appearance and stated that it would include haptic feedback, similar to the DualSense. The records also indicated the secret name, Sebile.

    New Xbox Controller Release Date

Dealabs’ Billbil-kun says the new accessory will be called the Nocturnal Vapor. This suggests it will be part of the Vapor line of Xbox controllers. Microsoft released the Vapor controllers in late January and early February 2024.

The price for the Nocturnal Vapor is said to be $69.99, the same as the other Vapor controllers. Pre-orders are expected to start on April 2, according to the same source. Microsoft usually starts pre-orders when they announce new controllers.

The leaker thinks the Nocturnal Vapor will likely be available on April 9. Although this information isn’t official, Billbil-kun has a good reputation for leaking Microsoft hardware details. They previously leaked the name and release date of the Xbox Stormcloud Vapor controller, along with many other Xbox accessories.

  • PlayStation Network Down: Can’t Play Online? What We Know?

PlayStation Network Down: Can’t Play Online? What We Know?

It seems like there’s a big problem with the PlayStation Network (PSN) today. People from different places are saying they can’t use it. This is unusual because it doesn’t happen often. Here’s what we know about it so far.

The problem started at 09:51 AM in some parts of the world like the Pacific Time Zone, Eastern Time Zone, and Greenwich Mean Time. It’s affecting all kinds of PlayStation devices like the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and also the web services.

If you check the official PlayStation Network Service Status page, you’ll see a lot of red dots. This means there are issues with almost everything related to PlayStation. People are having trouble with their accounts, playing games, watching videos, buying things from the PlayStation Store, and even chatting with friends.

Many players from different countries like the US, the UK, Australia, Japan, and Europe are experiencing these problems. It seems like it’s not just in one place, which makes us think it might be a problem worldwide.

The PlayStation team is aware of the problem. They’re trying to fix it as fast as they can. If you try to play games or use any PlayStation services, you might have trouble. But hopefully, they’ll get everything back to normal soon.

We’ve tried to see if the problem is real, and we can confirm it. We couldn’t go online to games, check the PS Store on the web or mobile, or even upload a screenshot of a failed login. But strangely, we could still use the PlayStation Store on the PS5 like usual.

  • Fortnite Chains Of Hades Locations: Your Guide To Finding The Underworld’s Fiery Weapon

Fortnite Chains Of Hades Locations: Your Guide To Finding The Underworld’s Fiery Weapon

The Chains of Hades is a new weapon in Fortnite that you can find in the game after the 29.01 update. It’s a special item that works like a mix between a melee weapon and a ranged weapon.

You can swing it three times to hit enemies with increasing damage, or you can use it like a harpoon to pull enemies closer to you.

This weapon is part of the Midas Rises Fortnite quests, so if you’re playing through those, you’ll need to know how to get it. To help you out, here’s how to find the Chains of Hades in Fortnite and use them to fight against a powerful Olympian Boss.

    Fortnite Chains of Hades Locations

If you want to get the Fortnite Chains of Hades for sure, you should go to The Underworld on the west side of the island. There, you’ll need to defeat Hades, the big boss, in a fight.

First, interact with the statue, and then get ready to battle some of his minions. After you’ve taken care of them, Hades himself will come down from his throne to fight you.

Once you beat him, he’ll drop the Chains of Hades, along with a weapon called Hades’ Harbinger SMG and something called a Fortnite Aspect of the Gods. These items will be helpful for different challenges.

If you don’t want to fight Hades, you can still find the Chains of Hades by searching in big chests found around The Underworld, Grim Gate, Mount Olympus, and Brawler’s Battleground areas. But remember, it’s all about luck whether you find the weapon in those chests or not.

Right now, there are four different Olympian Bosses in the battle royale game. I’ve shown where you can find them on the map above.

If you’ve already fought and beaten Hades to get the Fortnite Chains of Hades, then you don’t need to worry about him anymore. Your best chance to use the Chains of Hades on an Olympian Boss is to go southeast to Grim Gate and find Cerberus there.

But if you got the Chains of Hades from a god chest, you can use it on any of the four Olympian Bosses. Just be aware that someone else might have already defeated them, so you’ll need to act fast. Remember, you only need to hit the boss once with the Chains of Hades to complete this quest.

This is all there is to know about Fortnite Chains Of Hades Locations. You can also read our Genshin The Catch Guide and MapleStory Afterlands Guide. Stay up to date with GameEmpress.com for the most recent gaming news and guides.

  • Genshin Impact Leaks Version 4.6 Banners: Arlecchino Confirmed, But Who Else?

Genshin Impact Leaks Version 4.6 Banners: Arlecchino Confirmed, But Who Else?

A person informed about Genshin Impact may have revealed information on the planned Event Banners for Version 4.6. These banners depict personalities that players can get enthused about.

Characters are important in Genshin Impact because they make the game fun to play while also generating revenue for the developers.

In the latest updates, some new characters like Furina and Neuvillette have become popular among players.

They’ve become important for how the game is played at advanced levels. Other characters like Xianyun and Chevreuse have made older characters more interesting by giving them new abilities.

Now, with Version 4.6, a new character named Arlecchino is expected to join the game. But there will also be some characters returning for another go, like Wanderer and Baizhu. This info was shared by someone named Dimbreath on Twitter and a Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit.

It’s worth mentioning that sometimes these plans can change suddenly. In the past, characters were supposed to show up in one version but ended up appearing in another. So, while Baizhu’s return might be surprising, he may be available in a special banner after Version 4.6.

Looking ahead, there might be a rerun of Shenhe in Version 4.7, but we’re not sure yet. The main focus of Version 4.6 seems to be Arlecchino, but it will also introduce new locations called Petrichor and Remuria, which players have been waiting for. The next big update after that is expected to come in Version 5.0 with a new region called Nathan.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fans Get Peach Showtime and Mario Wonder Spirits This Weekend

A surprise awaits Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans as it’s been announced that the game will receive its final spirit event drop this weekend on 22nd March for 5 days. According to @SmashBrosJP on X, new spirits, “Peach Showtime” and “Mario Wonder” are slated to join the game.

This surprising update from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has left the fans excited!

At first, We all were under the impression that the game’s update cycle had come to a close. But now, with news of “Peach Showtime” and “Mario Wonder” Spirits joining the fray, fans will be able to experience the fresh content.

Intriguingly, speculations arose that the sudden resumption of updates in January may be a result of the game’s development team reconvening. Besides, could this be signal preparatory work for the next installment in the Smash series?

The timing of these updates is intriguing, coming shortly after Masahiro Sakurai, the game’s director, announced the end of his work on his YouTube channel.

While the new inclusions seem to generally please the fans, a few expressed disappointment over missing favorites, such as spirits from Fire Emblem Engage. Although, I had hoped for another round of eclectic character choices as seen in previous spirit events. The omission of characters from “Kirby & the Forgotten Land” also struck an unpleasant surprise among them.

This news leaves Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans anticipating further surprises and waiting with anticipation for the rumored arrival of a new Nintendo console, speculated to be around the corner.
